I was helping my boyfriend move out of his apartment from LA to OC (yay he's closer to me now hehe) and decided to use the moving help bc my best friend told me their company was pretty affordable and they get the job done quick. Boyyy when I say quicks I mean they are QUICKS. My bf and I were still doing last minute packing (I know.. I know.. we tried HAHA it was only like two boxes left), but they came earlier than our set time to quickly pack our things up and move it out. I was being a little spaz bc moving stress, but they were very patient, thorough, and easy to work with throughout the whole process. We had a lot of things to pack into his new apartment (dressers, drawers, couch, tables, etc.) and they pretty much played tetris with our furniture and boxes LOLLLL. My boyfriend is a strong man but damn I see the way they lift these things and I'm like o.o you're STRONG STRONG LOL. They were very careful with our items (wrapped em up w the plastic wrap stuff or put in wooden boxes) and everything came back to OC on time and safe! I never thought I would recommend a moving company.... but LMAO here it is, I will def use them if I ever decide to get out of the OC bubble. My mom had to move recently and she asked me to help her, but between the two of us we definitely could not have moved everything. She has A LOT of stuff and many fragile house decor items. So I found The Moving Help! The price was reasonable. Initially, my mom and I couldn't figure out the right day and time to move because we both work and our schedules are all over the place, but they were able to work with us. It gets tiring moving from house to house. During my recent move around, I decided to hire a moving company to help lift my heavy furniture since I didn't want another visit to the chiropractor for hurting my back lol. I found them through Yelp and contacted them. They were able to schedule me in really quickly for the next Saturday! The movers were very efficient & friendly. They were also very professional and they made sure that the whole process ran rly smoothly!! They also had plastic wrap that they covered my furniture with so that it doesn't get scratched during the whole moving process and so it doesn't move around in the truck. So I was looking for a affordable yet professional moving company to move my items into a new apartment. Having been skeptic because it was my first move and I didn't really know how to handle the situation, The Moving Help staff was quite helpful and assured me that my items were going to be taken care of. Within minutes of the small conversation, I already knew that my items were going to be in good hand. They answered the numerous amount of questions I had although I may have seemed really annoying. The distance between my old place and my new apartment weren't too far but I was more concerned of my larger items such as my desk, couch and dining table. I've seen a few videos of moving companies and how these items get neglected. Within minutes of arriving at my old place they were able to efficiently asses the best way to move the items without making it seem like it was just a "task" it felt almost as if it was a friend who was personally helping and wanting to make sure the items were all taken care off. Upon arrival the staff were extremely cooperative with where I'd like the items to be placed on the apartment, rather than just tossed in the middle of my living room. What a relief it was to find The Moving Help! After calling around and comparing quotes, I found The Moving Help to be the most reasonable for my budget. This was our first major move from Los Angeles to San Diego so were pretty nervous about moving from one home to another. Moving from the suburbs of LA all the way to the coastal side of San Diego felt like it was going to be really stressful. The idea of packing up our entire home and moving everything 121 miles away sounded incredibly tedious... until I found this company! When you call "moving help" at 866.748-4110, you are transferred to Nadine who believes she is the manager but that can't be true since she has no people skills, and Olivia who also answers calls but is useless when it comes to providing you with any type of assistance. After learning that I would have to drive 150 miles to pick up the UHaul truck I had reserved over a month ago and that one of the two storage units I had reserved was not held, i didn't feel secure that the "moving help" reservation were done correctly. When I called to confirm my order, neither Olivia nor Nadine were able to find my order. I have since cancelled the truck, storage and moving help order (which they could not find but were willing to "cancel" it for me!) Uhaul is really pushing their storage boxes which are way too expensive by the sqft and not convenient if you need to access your belongings at any given point. I was referred by a moving company to call Penske as they have better trucks and guarantee the location to pick up the trucks is within 10 miles from your home. I called, reserved and confirmed!!!! If you want to lose your hair and sanity- go with uhaul. If you want to have a stress free experience, use anyone BUT Uhaul!!! read more

My friend from school suggested The Moving Help to me and I'm really thankful she did! My goal was to move within a short time period but also not pay a fortune because I am a college student so finding good deals can be difficult. Good thing my friend told me she paid a super affordable price to have it it all finished within at most two trips! (that's only because she most likely had a lot of stuff). I was really worried about my TV and bed frame and dressers mainly because I spent good amount of money on those items, yet they were able to care for each and every single item no matter the cost.
