I created a moving project on Yelp and received about five company recommendations. The Movers were the first to reply back to me. After reading all the reviews, I wanted to support a small local company so I chose The Movers.  Evan and Jerrad were amazing! They were friendly, easy to talk to, professional, and very efficient. They helped me move a queen-size bed with frame, dresser, and two nightstands. They even disassembled the furniture at my friend's house in town and reassembled everything at my house on the west side. Even though it was raining, they stayed positive and handled everything with care. They wrapped each item in plastic for protection and even had a large protective transport cover for the mattress. You can tell they truly care about their customers and their work. I would definitely hire them again for any future moves. If you're looking for a local company to support, Evan and his team at The Movers are the ones to call. Their pricing was reasonable and more affordable compared to the other companies I looked into. They're also working on getting their own company truck soon, which will be great advertising for them because they absolutely deserve the recognition! I also want to mention that Selah was the person I communicated to arrange the details of what I needed. She reached out to make sure we were all on the same page and called me the day before the move to confirm everything, which I appreciated since that seems to be their standard process. Mahalo to Evan, Jerrad, and Selah for making my move such a smooth and positive experience! read more

Evan, Jarred, and Selah from The Movers were absolutely outstanding. While they're known for their moving services, what really impressed me was their craftsmanship and attention to detail. They helped assemble my sauna, and it was clear from the start that they take real pride in their work. They approached the entire project thoughtfully and methodically, making sure everything was properly aligned, secure, and built to last. They didn't rush the process or cut corners. Instead, they took the time to get things right, double-checking their work and handling each component with care. You can tell they have a strong understanding of both disassembly and assembly, which made a big difference for a more technical setup like this. Beyond their skill, they were professional, respectful, and easy to communicate with throughout the job. They showed up on time, kept the workspace clean, and made the whole experience smooth and stress-free. It's rare to find people who combine efficiency with this level of craftsmanship and care. I would highly recommend Evan and Selah to anyone, whether you need help moving or with more detailed projects like furniture or equipment assembly. I'll definitely be reaching out to them again for future projects. So personable and just great people! read more

So lucky we found Saleh and Evan! If I could give more than 5 stars, I would! I'm going to do my best to give the review they deserve. For context, my husband and I downsized from a 2 bd 2 bath to a 1 bd 1 bath. My first impression was speaking on the phone with Saleh -- she is the reason this company thrives. Her attention to detail and active listening skills amazed me from the start. We chatted on the phone and I didn't even realize she gathered all the information she needed without overwhelming me with questions. I genuinely feel like she was my friend helping me plan my move. Saleh removes the unnecessary stress you feel before a move (how cool of her!!) For example, I was so worried about our Costco couch being too big and she simply asked that I text her a picture and she would show it to Evan (the owner and her partner in crime) when he got home from a move job. They got back to me the same day and assured that the couch was no problem. Saleh also called the day before the move to confirm that the movers will be there and wanted to check in (this call was so comforting since I was so stressed the day before our move). It was a peace of mind knowing the movers were confirmed and I could count on them! The day of the move we met Evan, the owner of the company. He is the reason this company works - he's the engine. Evan's work ethic is amazing and his Can-Do attitude is infectious. I couldn't help but offer the guys food and water because the two of them were moving so much I knew they needed more fuel. Evan allowed us to help with moving because we didn't want to break the budget -- this was really cool of him because some company's don't allow that. We thought our move was going to be all day and we did it in 2 hours. My point is, Saleh and Evan treated us like we were more than customers. Their neighborly approach is the reason my husband and I had a successful move and WILL be calling them for our next one. Saleh and Evan, if you are reading this -- we wish you continue to succeed and hope you enjoyed the cookies and gift card! read more

We contacted the Movers for our recent move this summer. Evan and his team were THE BEST movers we have ever had. Ever. And we have moved 12 times in the past 20 years, using movers each time. I have never had movers care so much about our stuff - how they carried things, where they placed things, etc. They are also such a great group of people - you can tell they get along and are used to working as a team as opposed to some other companies that have random guys moving things. I give this company my highest recommendation without hesitation! We are immensely grateful! Thank you, Evan! read more

This moving company was the first I ever used that had people who cared about my things and were kind human beings. They exude aloha. From start to finish, Evan and his team took great care, were efficient and kind. From the original phone call to the last piece of furniture being placed, they were thoughtful and gracious. They even helped me to place my things. By the time they left my new home, all the furniture was in its place. I cannot recommend them more. There is not one thing I would change. read more

The Movers Hawaii made this entire move much easier than I anticipated. Scheduling with them was very straightforward, flexible options, and no hassle. Evan and the team arrived on time, worked efficiently, and handled everything carefully during the move of my 3-bedroom and 2-bath home. Not a single issue or scratch on anything. Everyone was friendly, professional, and easy to work with. Their customer service was excellent from start to finish, making the whole process feel stress-free. I highly recommend Evan and the crew if you're looking for a smooth, worry-free move. read more

Moving is already stressful, and having the right support makes all the difference. I can confidently say that The Movers made the entire process smooth and painless--from my first phone call with Selah to the final moments of moving day. We were expecting heavy rain from a Kona storm, which had me really worried. Selah was incredibly communicative, answering all of my questions and walking me through contingency plans, including offering to bubble wrap my items at no extra cost if needed. Thankfully, the weather cleared, and the team completed the move with impressive efficiency. Selah and Evan were both easy to work with and kept me updated on arrival times and the overall progress of the move since they had to make a run to Kailua to pick up some things for me there and then make a second stop after. Their crew was kind, professional, and thoughtful--offering to remove their shoes was a polite gesture too. Expectations were clear on both sides, which made everything feel seamless. Overall, I would absolutely recommend The Movers. Mahalo to the entire team for such a great experience. read more

We used The Movers to move from Kaimuki to Wailea Ike and they were amazing! They were very fast workers, super professional and friendly, and handled everything with care. My husband and I both said we think this is the first move we have ever gone through where nothing was broken because the movers did such a great job. I was also really impressed with how fast they responded to our messages and took care of everything on the office side as well. Highly recommend this company and we will definitely use them again in the future! read more

Booked appointment and never showed up...spoke to many times and assured us that he was going to be there..would not recommend to anyone...

From the get go, great communication and professionalism. Evan kept in continuous contact to make sure everything was confirmed up until they were 15 minutes out from our condo. The crew hustled the whole time! Other than the occasional water break, they kept moving! Very easy to work with, very punctual, and very courteous. And after getting many quotes, they definitely have the best rate in town. I would definitely recommend them for any of your moving needs. I hope I never have to move again, but if I do, I know who I'm calling. read more

We had an amazing experience with The Movers! Not only did they arrive promptly, they were quick to begin packing up our kitchen along with moving our furniture out. The team is incredibly professional and overall good people. The service we received went beyond what we hoped for. Amazing experience with The Movers. Moving is stressfull and as soon as Evan and his crew showed up, I knew we had selected the right company. Selah, Evan the crew were great from start to finish. They basically handled our move like it was theirs. Careful, detailed oriented and very knowleadgeable with loading furniture into our container. The movers company is fairly new but they all have a ton of experience working for other companies. We wish them all the success in the world as they truly deserve it. Evan and Jared made my move so easy. I was on a time crunch to get my things out of storage and did not have any help and most of all I was on a budget. The Movers were able to accommodate to my schedule and did the job quick and efficiently. Most companies quoted me at 5 hours with 3 guys. The Movers got the job done in just over 2 hours with 2 guys. The price I paid was well worth it plus there are no extra or hidden fees. 10/10 would recommend. read more

We are not usually the types to ask for help, but when it was crunch time for us to move, I am so grateful I found The Movers. Super professional, timely, and just overall a good crew of guys to be around. I can honestly say Evan and his team went the extra mile to ensure our move went smoothly and asked often if there was anything else they could help us with. After getting some quotes from other moving companies, The Movers are definitely one of the top "bang for your buck" companies out there. I will definitely hire again for any of our moving needs. read more

Awesome job! Great guy. I highly recommend. Evan came as agreed, got down to business, and did a great job.

I contacted these guys after researching different movers. I was skeptical because they only had 2 reviews but I'm very glad I booked them. First off these guys are super nice and down to earth. They explained everything and answered all my questions. They also provided me with the best moving price in town. I did shop around a bit and found that other moving companies were hitting me with additional fees for little things! These guys are straight forward with their pricing and don't add any extra fees. The move itself was easy and went seamlessly. We actually moved everything quicker than expected, so I was happy about that. I definitely recommend these guys for a move and I'll forsure use them in the future. I've already recommended them to my friends. Book these guys! I'd definitely recommend these guys read more

Two movers showed up right on time and handled everything with true care and professionalism. They were incredibly respectful, kind, and went above and beyond by helping us box and bag some last-minute loose items. Everything was handled thoughtfully and efficiently. You can tell they take pride in their work and truly care about the people they're helping. It's clear this is a local business run with integrity, and the crew reflected that 100%. Couldn't recommend them enough, they made what could have been a stressful day feel smooth and supported. Mahalo! read more
