Flaming Turtle*
Laurie G.

First time sitting at the bar and enjoying fondue alone. I will do it again! The bartender, the young lady's whose name I really wish I could remember, was very friendly and efficient. I "only" had the cheese, Classic Alpine and chocolate, Flaming Turtle. The dippers were fresh and yummy. Plentiful enough for me, but they will bring you more if you desire.

Four of us went to the Melting Pot and had the most wonderful evening. Our waitress, Amanda, was attentive and helpful. We ordered two- four course meals (2 people for $130 and it covered a cheese fondue, salad, entree, and chocolate fondue). We selected the Wisconsin cheddar and alpine (both were amazing- the cheddar particularly so), two of us the house salad with raspberry vinaigrette and two of us the cesar salad (I can attest the raspberry vinaigrette was SO good and the cesar was raved about), the grill was fun and the coq a vin delicious (and the meats were such good quality, tender, and not fatty at all), and finally the yin and yang, and the flaming turtle (both of which I'd highly recommend). Well definitely return. We highly recommend this spot!

Happy hour

We were here twice in the past month. The first trip was for happy hour at the bar. Our bartender was super friendly and the drinks were great. We also had cheese and chocolate fondue that was really good. We usually get the fiesta cheese and I request extra apples. The second trip was around my husband's birthday for Magical Dining month. I have been going to Melting Pot for like 15 years, and have never had such bad service. The only staff members that were friendly were the same bartender from last month that remembered us and the manager. We sat down to eat at 6pm and didn't leave until 8. The section we were in was pretty empty when we arrived, but it took a long time to order. Our cheese course was good, fiesta cheese with extra apples and soft pretzels. The dinner course was the main issue. Our meats and dips came out but no veggies. Our waiter was nowhere to be found. There seemed to be two other waiters in our section. I stopped a hostess and let her know about the veggies since she was the first person I saw after we had eaten over half our meats. The manager came around asking how everything was. I told him that I think our waiter quit or left since I hadn't seen him. I let him know about the veggies and eventually they were brought. In the meantime my husband went to the bar to get more ice water since both of ours were out and no one was coming around with water. Our chocolate course was good and our waiter did eventually come back. By this time our section was full. It seemed like we were his only table in this section or maybe he was a trial server. Normally at Melting Pot I'm use to someone checking on us about every 10 minutes - not necessarily the server, but someone. Magical Dining is a great deal. We would only be back to sit at the bar. You can eat there just as ease as sitting at a table with much better service.

We visited melting pot for a family birthday celebration and Robert took wonderful care of us. We had a party of 9 and we all had a blast and loved our food. He gave great recommendations and was very attentive. We truly enjoyed our experience and will come back when I'm town again!

We had a great experience at the Melting Pot last night. The food was amazing (as always), ambience is great (perfect for a night out with friends or date). Our server Oscar provided superb service. We go to this location at least once a year. The only thing that changed this time around was the wait time upon arrival (even with a reservation). This is the first time we had to wait for everyone on our party to show up to be seated. It was a small group - 5 people and 4 had already there.

I absolutely loved it.... right now I'm enjoying myself.... I will say that I was nervous because I'm not big at trying new things and I'm vex picky but I have to say I absolutely loved it and I can't wait to come again. Chris was our server and Judy was a helper and they were extremely nice and very helpful, courteous and enjoyable to talk with. The manager and hostess was just as nice, too. The atmosphere is so relaxing and fun... the music is fun... uplifting... it is immaculately cleaned. Even the bathroom is cute, especially the faucet. Every employee that won five was respectful and nice . Everyone seems to be happy at their job.. they have people in the same area but spaced so it's really nice. You feel like you have your own space but you don't feel isolated. OK, I just tried the dessert and oh my goodness if I never eat anything else, this is the absolute best and I will fight anybody over it ... it's what you would call heavenly.... I'm so HAPPY!!! This is a 5 Star Experience!!!

When it comes to a special occasion, we have often found ourselves looking for something interesting, fun and unique, the Melting Pot is exactly that. If you love fondue in any form you will love this concept. The variety of food you get to dunk into your fondue makes it a great experience for everyone. We opted for both the cheese and the chocolate fondue which gave us double the fun. If you are looking for something special then look no further, the price is higher than others dinners, but you are certainly paying for a memorable night out on top of your food. In terms of service, the staff are all friendly and knowledgeable and helped us make some enjoyable choices we may not have selected ourselves. We will be back when the next occasion calls!

Food amazing as always, interior was romantic and nicely dim, the service is the reason it gets 4 stars. Our server seemed to disappear through our meal for long periods which drug it out to over 2 hours, we eventually flagged someone down and requested to keep our meal moving please. But people get busy so it's understandable at time. Will give it another shot since the food was so nice

Our server Harrison was absolutely the best!! Fast, kind and funny. The private area was perfect for our group and the ambiance was very chill. I always thought fondue was only for desserts, and was very pleased with each course. Will be back next year.

The service here was above and beyond! We were celebrating a birthday and they put out rose petals and a candle at our request. I had also requested a secluded booth and they did just that! It was a very intimate experience. Our server Chadwick was amazing. It was our first time there and he was sure to explain the menu and how it worked. My Martini was delicious they have so many options to choose from. I got the land and sea and it tasted amazing. It was all reasonably priced and I would definitely go again

NYE dessert

This was one of my favorite restaurant chains for a long, long time. I've also been to this location many times, but it has been probably 2 years. We decided to go for NYE. One thing that was a bit annoying was the price of the package we chose was slightly off from what they posted on OpenTable when we booked. Only a few dollars, but still, felt misleading. We were surprised how little of some of the sides they give you now. Obviously you can ask for more, but it was pretty sad to be given so little of the veggies with the cheese and entree and have to ask right away. Unfortunately even with asking with the entree right away, we never got it, 30+ minutes later once our server checked on us again we just decided it was too later and to forget it. But the veggies are always my favorite part. Our server was very nice, but not attentive at all. Granted it was NYE, but the servers around us were constantly checking back on their tables and we waited long, long periods of time to even ask for more water or pay the bill. I think the main issue was that our server didn't have any other tables in our section, so we were forgotten about. Food was very good, but I did feel the experience wasn't as good as it used to be. The servers used to do a lot more at the table, where not I assume most is done in the kitchen. Part of what I liked was watching it being made.

This is our first time at the Orlando location and it was a great meal. The Good: 1) Our server Jake was amazing! Super attentive and really on the ball. 2) The food was delicious (we did the classic 4 course for 2 people) 3) We were able to change things up based on dietary needs: I was able to get Gluten Free dippers and broth and my daughter subbed her shrimp out for teriyaki steak. Very accommodating. 4) The pacing between courses was good also. I've been to ones in the past that had us waiting a long time. This was just right. 5) The bathrooms were really nice The Bad: 1) Nothing really - just keep in mind it's more of a special occasion or date place, as the 4 course for 2 is over $100 without drinks. But I highly recommend it for special occasions. 2) It's dark - but that's their theme. Tips: If you are having a special birthday or celebration, you can also tell them ahead of time and order chocolate covered strawberries or balloons or a stuffed bear and they'll have it ready at your table when you arrive. This location was easy to get into and out of also. We'll definitely go again or a special meal.

If they close at 10pm, and i have a reservation for 930 or 945- will I only have 15-30min to eat?

No, that's just when the last seating is.

Can we go just for desserts? Has anyone tried?

Yes you can go for just chocolate!

Do you have a vegan menu? I've seen one floating around online but wasn't sure if it's seasonal or regional.

Yoey, we are excited to confirm that we do offer a vegan menu! All of our cheeses and chocolate can be made with vegan ingredients. We also have vegan salad and entree options for you to enjoy as well!

I came here one evening with the family for a Christmas dinner. We had known about this local…read morelegend for a long time, and decided that it was time to come and check it out. First of all, the ambiance is exquisite. Absolutely unparalleled in town in terms of effort. Every square inch of this place was done up for the holidays, and I hear they go just as hard for Halloween. It was fun and beautiful to look at. Really awesome stuff. Service was good, too. Very friendly, attentive servers who knew how the flow of a fondue dinner should go. Salads, cheese, mains, dessert. We were not rushed or delayed. All was well. As for the food, it was a night of a ton of fun, much like you would expect from this type of place. And it was also delicious. The whole table went for the Extreme Combination Trail. So one price yielded us a soup or salad, a cheese fondue, a main course, and chocolate fondue for dessert. I had the Southwest Caesar salad (Romaine, toasted croutons, parmesan Caesar dressing topped with a sweet red pepper coulis). A perfectly serviceable salad. I had no issues with this. Bright, fresh, crisp, and a good amount of the delicious dressings on top. Next came the cheese course. We got the Alpine Swiss (Gruyere, Emmenthaler, white wine, minced garlic & nutmeg). I liked the simplicity of the additions, just some garlic and nutmeg, but the flavors were potent and delicious. The fruit dippers were nice, but the veggie dippers were cut very roughly. Definitely gotta make those easier to dip and munch. Main course time, cooked on the hot rocks. Our Extreme combo came with Filet, Sea Scallops, Pacific NW Chicken, Fusion Shrimp, and Short Rib Bulgogi. I think places like these have to tell you how to cook these meats to a well-done temp, or something like that. But, you gotta use your head here. Don't cook that filet to well-done. Don't make that scallop so rubbery it bounces. Just, use your head. If you do that, these lovely little bites will cook perfectly and be perfect for dipping into their flavorful sauces. A great main course. Don't bother with the hot sauce flight, though. None of them are good enough to justify the cost and the sacrificing of the stock sauces that you get included. Finishing off with the chocolate fondue dessert course, I don't remember which one we choose, but I remember that they were delicious. Ooey and gooey, an excellent amount of fun dippers in the perfect size and shape for popping them in your mouth all in one go. A great end to a great dinner. Overall, this was a much better experience than the other fondue place in town. I can't remember the name. But the fondues have more flavor, the meats are just as good quality, and the atmosphere is 100% more warm and inviting. If you're reading this, debate over, come here.

We'd be in the middle of a course, and the next one would come. We were in and out in under 1.5 hours, which for fondue and four courses, it's was a little too quick. What's nice is you can custom which courses you want and for the entree, you can customize your meat selections. The dining room itself is pretty. It's always decorated for holidays and it's never too loud. I'll continue to be back!

They definitely know how to create a romantic mood and atmosphere. We got the "Easter special" which I would skip I think. Best part was the meringue raspberry cookie but everything was just fine. Also seemed much more themed to Valentine's Day than Easter. Now the "Fourgasm" sampler is great. You start off with a cheesecake, then get to a caramelized carrot cake, followed by some kind of chocolate cake/pie and finish it off with a red velvet cake. The desserts get better and better as you eat them (if you start off with the cheesecake which they recommend) I also got the "Sex-spresso Martini" and that was delicious too. But I've never met an espresso martini I didn't like. One of my favorite parts is giggling at the ridiculousness of the names and descriptions of each item. THIS PLACE IS NOT CLOSED. IT JUST MOVED UPSTAIRS…read more I hope you're ready to read a dissertation, cuz I have a lot to write. lol. This past weekend we got to enjoy a really delicious and fun evening at the East End Market for our friend's birthday. La Femme du Fromage Upstairs is a private dining experience on the second floor of the popular East End Market, just above Domu. Dining here is by reservation only, so make sure to plan ahead. We had a group of 12 people, which was the max capacity this place can hold. This is a personalized dinner and wine pairing curated by the owner of La Femme, Tonda. She and her team took great care of feeding and entertaining us for a little over the 3 hours that we were there. The food was excellently prepared by Chef Dale and our table service was handled by Rob, who made sure our wines and drinks were always filled throughout the evening. Tonda is an expert in wines and cheeses, with over 30 years in the industry, traveling the world to learn the intricacies of both. Every course she brought out, she explained the history of the wine that was paired with it. Every cheese we tried, she explained what animal it was from and how it's prepared. She's such a burst of energy as well. You can really tell she loves what she does. Our first course (which I sadly forgot to take a picture of because I immediately inhaled it all) was a Brie fondue that was infused with champagne, shallots, garlic, and was topped with crab meat. Served with sides of roasted cauliflower, roasted carrots, apple slices, and a tasty crusty bread. (I cant for the life of me, remember what type it was) This dish was paired with a glass of Simonet Blanc de Blancs, a sparkling white wine. Every time I emptied my glass, Rob was nearby to immediately refill it. It was awesome! Our second course was a charcuterie plate of 3 cheeses, fresh blueberries and grapes, and wagyu beef salami. The first cheese presented was a soft spreadable sheep's cheese that was infused with truffle. It was earthy and nutty, and I was blown away by how velvety it was. The second cheese (and my personal favorite) was a coffee infused cow's cheese. I loved it so much that I also purchased a small block of it from Tonda at the end of the evening! The third cheese, if I remember correctly, was a hard goat cheese that was nutty and had a really cool texture when eating. The wagyu beef salami was amazing and paired really well with every cheese. All this was paired with a glass of Mommessin Beaujolais Villages, a fruity red wine. And of course, Rob was always ready to swing by and refill my glass when needed! The third course was a beef tenderloin, served with a side of asparagus and aligot, all topped with a delicious gravy. The beef was super tender, the asparagus still had a nice bite to it, and this was also my first time trying aligot. If you don't know what it is, it's a VERY cheesy mashed potato, and it's AWESOME! lol. This dish was paired with a glass of El Enemigo Malbec, a darker red wine from Mendoza. And yet again, my boy Rob was on deck to keep it coming! (I'm gonna shout out every chance I get) Finally for dessert, we had little vanilla and lemon shortcakes, topped with fresh strawberries and whipped cream. The cakes were moist and buttery and the strawberries were bright and lightly tart. The dessert was paired with a glass of Vietti Moscato d'Asti, a sweet sparkling white wine. This sweet wine was PERFECT for the sweet spongey cake. It was an absolutely delicious pairing. (And you already know Rob was getting the refill in) For anyone crazy enough to actually read all this. I hope you have the chance to go out and enjoy this place sometime. Tonda has a really special little spot here, and it deserves all the praise it gets. Chef Dale is a master of his craft, the food was amazing. And Rob is a damn good server who made sure we were always well taken care of. We will definitely be back soon, Tonda. Thank you for an awesome evening!

Understanding the menu was kind of confusing at first, but our server explained it kindly to us. Since you have to share, I feel like this type of restaurant is best for 2 people at a time. I was with 2 other people and it felt like we were overloading our pot at times, especially during the meats course. The appetizer course was good! The cheese was yummy and I enjoyed the variety of dippers they provided. I was not a fan of the meats course -- by the time they cooked, they were flavorless and watery. Also, some of the meats wouldn't stay on the skewer while in the pot, causing us to search for it. Of course, since you cook it yourself, this could be user error. My favorite was the dessert course. Even though I didn't like the rest of our meal, I will probably be back just to enjoy the chocolate fondue. Service was friendly, but was not quick at all. We were at the restaurant for 3+ hours, and most of that time was waiting for our server to bring us our next pot/dippers. We came on a Wednesday night at around 5PM. Brunch Review 2026!…read more It's a Saturday in late April 2026 and the Orlando Magic are taking on the #1 rated Detroit Pistons! My brother and I deliberate days before on meeting up and with little hesitation, we opted for the Ravenous Pig! Securing a table reservation we instead opted to sit on the pub side where the TVs are. Soon after sitting down, we were greeted by Christina who was our server for the afternoon! Now this is Brunch Mode at the Ravenous Pig with a brunch style menu and beautiful rays on Sunshine which can feel quite different if you're used to having meals or drinks here for dinner where it can be quite busier and a different vibe! Today's visit was comfortable in the pub, lite in the dining room floor and nearly full outside in the beer garden. I settled in with the current version of the Gin and Jam! It tends to change as products become available with the underlying truth being a lite and refreshing cocktail to start with. This version is well done overall! Food wise we started with the Croquettes which had a sausage in them which brought good flavor paired with the crunchy exterior and white sauce on the plate resulted in an appetizing dish. Continuing on, the Sparkling Tea on menu is fantastic! As a side beverage or even mocktail form, it's a great Bev. We went with that and with the Magic game about to start, I went with the IT GOES TO ELEVEN cocktail! Boozy, Bright and Veracious! With these drinks in hand, we decided to move forward with more food and after consulting with Christina, we went with the Huckleberry pancake and the miso butter ribs. Without a doubt, the Huckleberry pancake was the standout star of the two dishes! A light pancake with great flavor and depth that doesn't fill you up but is a great sweeter dish that I can see Incorporated with a more savory brunch item like bacon and eggs as an example. Overall a great time for brunch! Shout out to Brian, Costa (the GOAT) and Scott for keeping it real and just being great individuals overall!

The cauliflower appetizer missed the mark a bit for me, the pieces were a little too big and came out slightly undercooked. I attended for brunch with a few friends and we had an amazing time. Everything I tasted was delicious. I had the French toast with eggs and bacon 10/10. The pork belly with the garlic aioli was out of this world good! My friend had the steak and it was seasoned to perfection! I would definitely visit again no questions asked!

It was Happy Hour when I came so I loaded up on some apps and drinks. Happy Hour is 3-6pm Every Day and Friday-Saturday 10pm-11pm 25% off all appetizers, signature mules, signature cocktails, wines by the glass. $7 Mules all day Monday. Up first, the $9.75 sticky pork belly. I liked this dish. Not a huge fan of pork, but the flavor was on point. Then, I tried a $9.75 soft pretzel. Mmmmmm so delicious. I love when pretzel bread is actually good, like this one. For the main course, I had the $18 Stubborn Mule Burger. This thing is super tall, and will barely fit in your mouth. Super juicy and really good. The brussels weren't nearly charred or hard enough for me. Wouldn't get those again. For the drink, I tried a $9.75 Smoked & Mezzy. Super strong ginger beer taste. Other than that, it was fine. Cool place to relax, get a burger, and a cocktail.
