Everything about this was great! I treated my best friend for her birthday and we ordered from the magical dining menu. Which comes with everything except salad and I was fine with that because I knew I would be full anyways. We started off with the cheese fondue which they prepped at the table with seasoning and wine, they give you a variety of dippers for it. The meats were next and they were good but I could do without them if I had to because I got tired of "cooking" the food lol the dessert was spectacular you can't go wrong with chocolate and fruit or sweets to dip it in. I definitely recommend to give this place a try for a special occasion or just because

Seven weekends of Magical Dining Month. Seven restaurants chosen for amazing menu effort. Too many restaurants phone it in for MDM and offer chicken (boring) or a cedar-plank salmon (yawn). Out of literally hundreds of restaurants, you have to stand out somehow. I ranked all the restaurants, and sought out the best of the best. So the Melting Pot is another interesting MDM restaurant. Their app, entrée, and dessert pots are altogether about the $60 that the MDM is, but you get thrown in a nice lobster tail and the sweet additions for dessert. So that's nice. I would call that very worth it. So we make our reservations, get seated in our secluded corner, and get to fondueing. App We started off with the Bacon & Brie (baby brie, gruyère, raclette, fontina, white wine, bacon, lemon, scallions). Everyone loves melted cheese. Everyone. I personally thought that there was too much white wine in there, it couldn't cook out in time, but you get over that pretty quickly when you're having tons of fun dipping bread in cheese. Lovely. Main We ordered the Big Night Out (premium filet mignon, teriyaki-marinated steak, herb-crusted chicken breast, shrimp, Atlantic salmon, wild mushroom ravioli [Includes a Shared Lobster Tail]) in the regular Court Bouillon (Seasoned Vegetable Broth). Ohhh sooo gooooood. A lovely array of items. Super soft and tender filet, very teriyaki-y steak, yummy, plump shrimp, a fun little delicious ravioli (would have been fine with just two dozen of these), and a super tender lobster tail that you Better not overcook. I know I can't make any suggestions here, so do NOT take this as advice, but for everything but the chicken, I actually cooked it for 15-30 seconds Less than the recommended cook times, and they ended up being Perfectly cooked. So good. The restaurant Has to tell you a time that will make sure it's well done, but you know, not everyone wants to ruin a piece of filet. Dessert We finished the night with the Bourbon Pecan option (the decadent flavor of dark chocolate and caramel are flambéed with bourbon and topped with candied pecans [Sweet Additions of Cream Puffs, Macarons, and Cheesecake Included]). This is what we have all been waiting for. So yum. No flambé for us, but maybe our server had a bad history with fire. Not sure. Didn't matter. The chocolate was ooey and gooey and just sweet enough. Plenty of dipping options make sure that little drips of chocolate get all over your table. So much fun, so delicious. Overall, if you wanna Melting Pot, do it for Magical Dining. You won't be sorry.

Pros: I love that the Melting Pot participates in Magical Dining every year. It's obviously not a special menu, but if you go to the right location and order the right stuff, you do get a pretty ok discount. Everything was delicious. I don't think the Melting Pot has changed in decades, but it doesn't need to. It's perfect the way it is. Cheese was delicious, the meats were quality, and the chocolate fondue was the perfect amount of sweet to end the evening. Service was excellent. Ambiance was nice and romantic, just as expected. Cons: Hmmm... Can't think of any. If you don't like fondue, you won't like it here. Tips: You can ask for more dipping bread for the appetizer course. Never cook the meats for as long as they recommend, unless you like jerky. Spring for the extra dessert dippers. Yum.

Overall service and atmosphere was great. Always love that they have a wide selection of fondues and menu items to choose from. The cocktails were also excellent. My biggest complaint with this restaurant is it's location. Very challenging parking lot to navigate and to secure a spot in, especially on a busy night.

Desert fondue with a birthday surprise!

Visited the Melting Pot-Longwood- over the weekend for my husbands birthday and had a great time! The staff were all friendly and food was great! They had surprised him with a birthday card that all the staff signed and a nice little treat along with it. We had the four course option and cooked our own meats( chicken, salmon, steak, shrimp). He is a chef and took over that part for us as he knew how to time the food so that it came out well done and not undercooked, I would warn anyone who is not great at cooking to be careful with this. I think you can order entrees to be cooked by the staff though. We did order some cocktails, those were also well made.

My first time visiting The Melting Pot, after hearing great things. I was absolutely STUFFED, brilliant meal and worth every penny. The he service was excellent. If it is your first time at this spot, I'd suggest asking for their recommendations as they really didn't disappoint. Looking forward to visiting again :)

I love The Melting Pot! They have so many great options and always provide excellent service. The cocktails are amazing too! If you haven't been before, I always recommend doing the 4 course option, but the real stars are the cheese and chocolate courses. If you do get the main, you have to get the Coq Au Vin cooking style.

We haven't been here in a really long time and always had a good time going to the one in St Pete before they closed it. Decided to give this one a try. They were booked but we had a reservation. Waited a few minutes before being seated but not bad. We were put in a side area which took a bot away from the experience but it was ok. Decided on the big night out. Seems this is our go to. Cheese fondue was delicious. Then we had the coq au vin with steak, shrimp and veggies. Since you do the cooking yourself you can only blame yourself if it is not down right. We were partial to our local one so this was not as good an experience as that one but the food was great and service was on point.

This is our second time going to melting pot this year. Always an amazing experience and delicious food! We went for a Valentine's deal in February and then BFF Fondue Night in April. We always request our favorite waiter Nikola, who goes above & beyond to make sure we have an amazing experience. He is super friendly and very knowledgeable of the menu. The best friends BFF menu is a bit different than like the Thursdate menu. However we felt it was still a fantastic deal for the price. I love cooking the food in oil so we can batter it. The cheese and chocolate were amazing as well. I would leave about 2 hour window for the experience. I love that we never feel rushed and can truly enjoy our meal together.

I've always heard good things about The Melting Pot and wanted to try it for myself. The inside of the restaurant is dimly lit and looks nice. The wait staff was very friendly. Me and my friend both got the four course meal to get the full experience. First we got the Alpine fondue which we both found to be okay. It wasn't bad just a bit lackluster. There wasn't enough cheese at the end to dip all the appetizer. Next was the Melting Pot House Salad. I had it with honey mustard dressing, it was really good. I think I enjoyed it a bit more than the cheese fondue. We both ordered the Lava Flow drink which was amazing. I honestly think it was the best thing we had that night. The entrees came out with a bunch of sauces to dip into and we went with the table top grill. It was a bit hard to see since it was so dimly lit if the food was done. I had the Pacific Rim entree. I enjoyed the Teriyaki Steak, Teriyaki sauce, and Green Goddess sauce the most. My least favorite would have to be the Duck. My friend had ordered the Land and Sea and she also said the Teriyaki Steak was the best. I would have liked to try cooking them in one of the broths maybe it would have been better. Then came the dessert, we ordered the Cookies and Cream Marshmallow Dream. This was the best fondue we had that night. It was so good, we were really full by the time it came out and still ate it. In all I feel like the food isn't anything really to rave about but I do think it is a nice experience. If I were to come back, I think it would be just for dessert. It's also a longer dining experience. I think this should be saved for special occasions if you've never been or go for a date night.

I came here one evening with the family for a Christmas dinner. We had known about this local…read morelegend for a long time, and decided that it was time to come and check it out. First of all, the ambiance is exquisite. Absolutely unparalleled in town in terms of effort. Every square inch of this place was done up for the holidays, and I hear they go just as hard for Halloween. It was fun and beautiful to look at. Really awesome stuff. Service was good, too. Very friendly, attentive servers who knew how the flow of a fondue dinner should go. Salads, cheese, mains, dessert. We were not rushed or delayed. All was well. As for the food, it was a night of a ton of fun, much like you would expect from this type of place. And it was also delicious. The whole table went for the Extreme Combination Trail. So one price yielded us a soup or salad, a cheese fondue, a main course, and chocolate fondue for dessert. I had the Southwest Caesar salad (Romaine, toasted croutons, parmesan Caesar dressing topped with a sweet red pepper coulis). A perfectly serviceable salad. I had no issues with this. Bright, fresh, crisp, and a good amount of the delicious dressings on top. Next came the cheese course. We got the Alpine Swiss (Gruyere, Emmenthaler, white wine, minced garlic & nutmeg). I liked the simplicity of the additions, just some garlic and nutmeg, but the flavors were potent and delicious. The fruit dippers were nice, but the veggie dippers were cut very roughly. Definitely gotta make those easier to dip and munch. Main course time, cooked on the hot rocks. Our Extreme combo came with Filet, Sea Scallops, Pacific NW Chicken, Fusion Shrimp, and Short Rib Bulgogi. I think places like these have to tell you how to cook these meats to a well-done temp, or something like that. But, you gotta use your head here. Don't cook that filet to well-done. Don't make that scallop so rubbery it bounces. Just, use your head. If you do that, these lovely little bites will cook perfectly and be perfect for dipping into their flavorful sauces. A great main course. Don't bother with the hot sauce flight, though. None of them are good enough to justify the cost and the sacrificing of the stock sauces that you get included. Finishing off with the chocolate fondue dessert course, I don't remember which one we choose, but I remember that they were delicious. Ooey and gooey, an excellent amount of fun dippers in the perfect size and shape for popping them in your mouth all in one go. A great end to a great dinner. Overall, this was a much better experience than the other fondue place in town. I can't remember the name. But the fondues have more flavor, the meats are just as good quality, and the atmosphere is 100% more warm and inviting. If you're reading this, debate over, come here.

We'd be in the middle of a course, and the next one would come. We were in and out in under 1.5 hours, which for fondue and four courses, it's was a little too quick. The food, however, is always consistent and delicious. The meal starts with soup or salad and bread. Followed by cheese, entree and dessert. What's nice is you can custom which courses you want and for the entree, you can customize your meat selections. The dining room itself is pretty. It's always decorated for holidays and it's never too loud. I'll continue to be back!

The cheese flavors were very strong--so much so that they became a bit overwhelming and unenjoyable for me. The entrée was okay, but personally, I'd rather have my food fully prepared than cook it myself at the table. It just wasn't my preferred dining style. Our server was helpful, but since it was our first visit, we had several questions. At times, it felt like he may have been a bit bothered by them, which made us slightly uncomfortable. The food also took quite a while to come out--even though it was served raw--so we were a bit confused by the wait time. The highlight of the evening was when the manager approached us as we were leaving and invited us to take a photo at their photo booth. That thoughtful gesture really added a positive touch to the night. Overall, it just wasn't a dining concept or flavor profile that I see myself craving in the future.

Time to update my review from 6 years ago…read more Seasons 52 is a chain restaurant, as most people know, but I enjoy the fact they switch up their menus seasonally (hence the name). We recently made reservations to celebrate our son's and fiancee's engagement. The service was very good -thanks to Chad- in spite of a very busy Friday night, and also surprising because the four of us each received a champagne flute with a couple ounces of the bubbly, courtesy of a manger, to hep us celebrate! Of course the dark wood accents, the booths for a little more intimacy, and fires (real and video) really enhanced our enjoyment of the night. We selected flatbreads, entrees, a starter and a side for our meals. My Lump Crab and Shrimp Stuffed Mushroom started my night right with a wonderful crunchy combo kept hot in the little iron pan. I found that the Chipotle BBQ shrimp flatbread toppings complemented well, with the spice and heat of the poblano peppers mixing with the sweet acidity of the pineapple. My 3 ounce pour of the Côte Mas 'Rosé Aurore' from France provided a mellow yet slightly sweet taste that paired well with my seafood. We finished off with the mini desserts which our son and his fiancée thoroughly enjoyed, and I orders a cappuccino that tasted lovely and hit the spot. Seasons 52 showed their best for us tonight, and it was a very enjoyable night as a result.

THIS PLACE IS NOT CLOSED. IT JUST MOVED UPSTAIRS…read more I hope you're ready to read a dissertation, cuz I have a lot to write. lol. This past weekend we got to enjoy a really delicious and fun evening at the East End Market for our friend's birthday. La Femme du Fromage Upstairs is a private dining experience on the second floor of the popular East End Market, just above Domu. Dining here is by reservation only, so make sure to plan ahead. We had a group of 12 people, which was the max capacity this place can hold. This is a personalized dinner and wine pairing curated by the owner of La Femme, Tonda. She and her team took great care of feeding and entertaining us for a little over the 3 hours that we were there. The food was excellently prepared by Chef Dale and our table service was handled by Rob, who made sure our wines and drinks were always filled throughout the evening. Tonda is an expert in wines and cheeses, with over 30 years in the industry, traveling the world to learn the intricacies of both. Every course she brought out, she explained the history of the wine that was paired with it. Every cheese we tried, she explained what animal it was from and how it's prepared. She's such a burst of energy as well. You can really tell she loves what she does. Our first course (which I sadly forgot to take a picture of because I immediately inhaled it all) was a Brie fondue that was infused with champagne, shallots, garlic, and was topped with crab meat. Served with sides of roasted cauliflower, roasted carrots, apple slices, and a tasty crusty bread. (I cant for the life of me, remember what type it was) This dish was paired with a glass of Simonet Blanc de Blancs, a sparkling white wine. Every time I emptied my glass, Rob was nearby to immediately refill it. It was awesome! Our second course was a charcuterie plate of 3 cheeses, fresh blueberries and grapes, and wagyu beef salami. The first cheese presented was a soft spreadable sheep's cheese that was infused with truffle. It was earthy and nutty, and I was blown away by how velvety it was. The second cheese (and my personal favorite) was a coffee infused cow's cheese. I loved it so much that I also purchased a small block of it from Tonda at the end of the evening! The third cheese, if I remember correctly, was a hard goat cheese that was nutty and had a really cool texture when eating. The wagyu beef salami was amazing and paired really well with every cheese. All this was paired with a glass of Mommessin Beaujolais Villages, a fruity red wine. And of course, Rob was always ready to swing by and refill my glass when needed! The third course was a beef tenderloin, served with a side of asparagus and aligot, all topped with a delicious gravy. The beef was super tender, the asparagus still had a nice bite to it, and this was also my first time trying aligot. If you don't know what it is, it's a VERY cheesy mashed potato, and it's AWESOME! lol. This dish was paired with a glass of El Enemigo Malbec, a darker red wine from Mendoza. And yet again, my boy Rob was on deck to keep it coming! (I'm gonna shout out every chance I get) Finally for dessert, we had little vanilla and lemon shortcakes, topped with fresh strawberries and whipped cream. The cakes were moist and buttery and the strawberries were bright and lightly tart. The dessert was paired with a glass of Vietti Moscato d'Asti, a sweet sparkling white wine. This sweet wine was PERFECT for the sweet spongey cake. It was an absolutely delicious pairing. (And you already know Rob was getting the refill in) For anyone crazy enough to actually read all this. I hope you have the chance to go out and enjoy this place sometime. Tonda has a really special little spot here, and it deserves all the praise it gets. Chef Dale is a master of his craft, the food was amazing. And Rob is a damn good server who made sure we were always well taken care of. We will definitely be back soon, Tonda. Thank you for an awesome evening!
