Let's get real, ever since a bunch of pharmacies shut down (like rite aid) Every CVS and Walgreens…read moreis having to over compensate Since I have chronic pain / repeated procedures / surgeries, it's safe to say this place is my second home lol I've dealt with Tracy a couple times, including inside the Pharmacy (not just the drive thru pickup) after one of my past surgeries a few months ago, She saw me doubled over in pain while trying to get my medication after a bladder surgery that was extremely painful. I kept getting texts saying my medication was ready, but everytime I called to double check, it was not. When I showed up she got me my medication within less than 30 minutes and was on top of it. (And she kept telling me to sit down and asking if I was ok) I'm extremely understanding that these places are overwhelmed. I've dealt with a really rude male pharmacist here, but Tracy has literally been a lifesaver Recently, I had called ahead of time to see what I needed for an early release (2 days early for a medication that is highly controlled due to me not being able to pick it up on the scheduled day) she told me exactly what to request from my doctor. (Which, I got ahold of my doctors office and told them) My doctor put in for my medication, but unfortunately, they did not put what Tracy needed them to put. It was night time and my doctors office was already closed. Tracy told me not to worry at all and that she would call them in the morning and get it taken care of for me. I honestly did not think much of it. I was fully prepared to call my doctors office / having to deal with it all on my own. Yet, I got a text saying my medication was ready in the morning. Tracy even called me personally (not just the automated generic voice message system they leave saying to come get your medication) Tracy called and told me that she had been calling my doctors office as soon as they opened and she had everything taken care of for me. It honestly made me cry. While dealing with so much such as a surgery and trying to get everything taken care of, it meant so much to me that she took care of everything for me and did not make a fuss about it. She literally went above and beyond and I'm extremely thankful that she not only does her job, but is extremely sympathetic and helpful. Tracy is a pro Every time Tracy is working, she goes over the medication with me and asks if I have any questions and etc If you have any issues I highly suggest asking for her (but only if you're nice to her, because she's amazing) This location has a drive thru and is also open 24/7

The process does not let them help you. Walgreens it would be fine for photos. I would pick up later but if you're in a pinch, go somewhere else.

OVER 1 YEAR UPDATE! I've increased my rating from 1 to 3…read morestars and heres why. Had a bit of an issue over a year ago with an employee who scolded me for "riding my bike in the store". I parked inside as the rack outside was full and it's a $4,000 Super73 electric bike so having in inside with surveillance cameras facing it makes me feel safer about it. I've also been doing that for 5 years or so before the ordeal happened so it's not like it was my first time parking inside. Now the space between the end cap and the parking spot was tight so mounting on the bike and pushing it carefully backwards and out was the best option as i didn't want to knock anything over. The bike's main power switch was off during the whole ordeal by the way. Unfortunately the clerk didn't like i was on my bike moving it less than 1mph so she proceeded to yell at me about it. Anyhow that's neither here nor there. While the situation has passed and i said i wouldn't be giving this rite aid any more of my buisness i had to come back in as my parents still get their meds from here. I have moved out of California so i'm not here often anymore. Well, I stepped foot inside this rite aid for the first time in over a year and i noticed a few things. 1. the space I used to park my bike is way more open and easier to access then before. however I didn't use it as I drove my dad's car here. 2. Over the course of a week I've been in and out of this rite aid grabbing my amazon deliveries and my dad's meds and haven't seen the clerk who gave me attitude. 3. The store shelves seem more empty than usual and selection of items is not what it used to be. 4. The pharmacy staff are much friendlier than before and i had a nice experience over the week i was home, however the wait times do seem a bit slow. Overall seems things are getting better though a better selection of items and slightly lower wait times for the pharmacy would make this review 5 stars.

Since both local Rite Aid's closed down, everyone has been going to this CVS now, and my experience…read morehere as far as them getting the correct medication for me, calling for pre-authorization, etc. has been really good. Actually the only thing is the service takes a long time because the pharmacy is very understaffed, but that's clearly a corporate decision not a location decision. Doing more with less seems to be a CVS trend right now, so I can't give them in good conscience 5 stars because the service is almost always slow. However, they get above a 3 because the experience is as good as it can be with the limited staff.

I had an unfortunate experience with a sales associate at this location on Saturday 6/6/2026. She…read morewas working the register closest to the door. Her name is Darlene. I politely walked up and smiled at her and placed my items on the counter. She said clearly, "Who does she think she is, Beyonce?" and rolled her eyes. I do not think it is okay to be unnecessarily rude to customers as I definitely did not deserve any type of attitude from her. I stopped at this location as it is closer to my house but I will go back to the Los Altos or Seal Beach CVS. This incident will be reported to the manager. The day it happened, I did not want to make a scene or say anything just yet as I was upset by the interaction. I will let people know that outside of this issue, the store was clean & orderly. The other clerk (a guy - did not catch his name) I met was nice and helpful so thank you to him.

I usually expect a quick explanation or basic guidance at a pharmacy drive-through, but my recent…read morevisit was frustrating. The staff member assisting me was unenthusiastic and unhelpful. She handed over my prescriptions and just said "sign" with no direction on where or what I was signing. Pharmacy staff should be clear and helpful, especially when dealing with medication pickups.

Dear CVS Senior Management,…read more I am writing to express my disappointment regarding a recent experience I had at CVS Pharmacy. The service I received was extremely poor, and some staff members behaved in an unprofessional manner I spoke with an employee named Imelda regarding my medication, but she walked away without explanation while I was in the middle of speaking to her. I was left waiting without any update, and she never followed up or checked on my prescription. I then asked for assistance from the manager, Jessie, but she did not take the time to properly review my situation. Even though I explained that my doctor had already sent the fax, she told me I could not receive my medication. Her tone felt impatient, and she raised her voice, which made me feel uncomfortable as a patient. Because of this, I had to contact my doctor again while waiting at the store. After they resent the information, the medication was eventually found in the system--but no one had taken the time to check thoroughly before. I ended up waiting about 20 minutes unnecessarily. I used to visit this CVS location often, and the staff was always helpful and professional. It was one of my favorite stores. However, after this experience, I feel nervous and uncomfortable returning, which is disappointing. I hope management addresses these issues, especially since this is a 24-hour location that many patients rely on. I would also like to recognize Liz, one of the pharmacists, who was very kind, patient, and helpful. She clearly explained everything and made sure I received my medication. I truly appreciate her excellent service.
