I added another picture to show that she was filing into my toe nails after cutting them super short as short as she could get them and made half of them round and tiny. She also cut the sides of the nails which you aren't supposed to do due to infection and hang nails. I asked her not to do this. there was no reason for her to cut the sides of my nails on one foot and not the other leaving with me with uneven toes. I appreciate the response but I feel that there should be an attempt to fix the situation instead of making excuses or insinuating that I'm making this up.

Then an older woman walked in, sat down, and suddenly the staff told me, "She has an appointment, so we're going to take her first for her mani and pedi." I reminded them that I also had an appointment and had already been waiting 20 minutes. Their response was that she specifically requested them, and I would be seen "when the other technicians are done", even though those technicians were clearly busy and nowhere near finishing. My appointment was overlooked without any communication, and as a long‑time client, I was extremely disappointed. The only person who acknowledged me was the woman cleaning the nail stations, she was kind, brought me colors, and checked in. No one else did. Shame on you guys. I won't be returning, and it's clear why your reviews have been declining.

Michael has been cutting my hair for 14 years and counting. A friend of mine had referred me to Michael when I was looking for someone who could cut my straight Asian hair, which is course and grows unevenly. Some parts would stick out like a cow lick if they were cut too short or long. Michael was a godsend. He is both skilled and consistent. I like my hair textured on the top (if it's not done right - e.g., too short or not textured enough -it would look like a crew cut), smoothly tapered down the back and sides (with no bald spots/ridges or unevenness or hair sticking straight out), just the right length so I don't have to take more than a couple of minutes to style it. I have peace of mind that whenever I need a haircut every few weeks, I can text Michael for an appointment and have my hair cut just the way I like it. No worries, no hassle, no redos. I gave the 1st star because there's nail polish on my nails when there wasn't before and also because google reviews start off by giving 1 star by default. I gave 1 additional star because the staff made me feel comfortable and because the woman who did my nails spent a lot of time making sure they were proportionate. Oh well, $90 down the drain. I learned my lesson and l definitely will not come back to this nail salon again. I highly suggest that the Manager of this nail salon starts investing on getting updated technical skill training for its staff so that they know how to use things like blooming gel and different magnets (for cat eye polish) to create modern effects. It's kinda unacceptable for a professional nail tech to be more clueless than their customer who simply enjoys nail art as an observer/novice...
