She uses Bio sculpture gel- which allows your nail underneath to get oxygen and still grow and thrive (no need for "a break") and she does a beautiful professional job each and every time. I love G'na! I always leave her chair with healthy and beautiful hair! I have damaged my hair over the years and G'na is the only one who can bring the shine back. I am blonde which can be hard to get just right, but G'na does the most beautiful subtle blonde on me that grows out really naturally. I am obsessed with the olaplex she uses in my color, it really protects it from damage. I also love the shampoo and conditioner, it's really amazing for people with frizzy/chemically treated hair. I can finally let my hair air dry after washing instead of blow drying and curling/straightening to tame my frizz. I wouldn't have found these holy grail products if it wasn't for G'na. She is seriously the best and I won't trust anyone else with my hair. I can't wait for her do my hair for my wedding this summer! read more

Men, shield your eyes from this review! Ladies only! :P I got a Screamin Daily Deal for a Brazilian wax here and finally redeemed it a couple days ago. I was a little fearful since I've only ever trusted Sameera to deal with my private parts. I even called to make sure that they use new sticks every time they dip the wax. And they do! I got here in the afternoon around 2pm and it was very busy inside. I got there about 10 minutes early for my appointment and there was no one at the front desk, so I just sat there idly not knowing what to do. Finally, a receptionist came out and told me that Judy would be right out. Judy came out to the front and grabbed me, walking me through the beautiful giant salon to her special room. It was nice and serene, very spa-like. She had a giant bed in the middle, and assured me that she changes the sheets between each client. So far, so good! Judy does a couple things differently than Sameera, most notably in that she uses hard wax. After having experienced the hard wax, I think that I definitely prefer it over the strips; the fact that it's hard wax makes it feel cleaner too, since it doesn't leave any sticky residue on your skin. Yes, the process was painful, but Judy was awesome in prepping me and calming my nerves throughout the process. Never asked me to tug this or hold that. She even gave me tips about how to deal with rashy breakouts or irritation that may occur after the wax. Reading some of the reviews before I got here, I was worried that she might miss a few spots, but everything was spotless! She was so meticulous that she even pulled out her tweezers for some. And honestly, it can't be helped if she misses some here and there (as long as it's not a huge patch!). All in all, I really enjoyed my time with her (besides the pain!). Judy is such a super sweetheart and will take uber care of you. Zero complaints here. I can only imagine that she does equally wonderful facials too! read more

I was referred to Judy for Brazilian waxing through a friend... And couldn't be happier. I wasn't sure what to expect and she walked me though the process, calmed my nerves, explained how I should go every 3-4 weeks to match up with the natural hair cycles... She definitely put me at ease. Reading some of the reviews about her not getting all the hair etc- I have to say this has never been an issue with me. I'm guessing it's because I make sure to match up my appointments with the whole natural hair cycle thing. The wax she uses is great, the pain is minimal (come on... You really can't expect NO paid with a Brazilian :), she works quickly, her work and work area is clean and sanitary, and her work is quality. I would expect to pay MUCH more for the service she delivers. I would highly recommend her and have on many occasions! read more

She said she heard about my review (which I did not think was that bad, just average) and wanted to make sure I had a better experience the next time. I went back a couple of weeks ago to do another waxing with Judy. She was super. Did a thorough job, gave some suggestions to deal with ingrown hairs which are a regular problem for me and really made sure I was satisfied. I had been in need of a haircut for a month or so, but was unsatisfied with my old hairstylist (started charging me $75, quite a jump from the $35 he charged two years ago). I wasn't expecting them to, but was pleasantly surprised! I had an appointment with Cathie. I was slightly nervous about trying a new stylist, but she was very patient & listened to my every request (I am quite picky about my hair). I am very pleased with the service I received from Cathie, I just wish the receptionist had been more welcoming & offered me some water or something while I was waiting. Instead, after checking me in, she went back to gossiping with some of the stylists in the back. There were 2 other women waiting when I arrived, both regulars, who were complaining about the wait & lack of service in the afternoon. I did agree that it felt cold & slightly unwelcoming. When I came in, I was greeted by a very friendly staff and I even met the owner who has the most awesome accent ever. It seemed like a small quaint little salon. I was referred to Naylynn at BeauShar after being unable to find a decent hair stylist. Since my first visit I have been coming back to her once a month and she takes wonderful care of me. I noticed a couple years ago that I was undergoing a stage in a man's life that is most terrifying. My hair was thinning. It's very easy on the skin, I didn't get the after burn like the other waxes. It was sorta weird bc I wasn't bottomless, because most places asks you to go bare, and I had to hold my "undies" while she was waxing, which wasn't a problem. She was also very concern about the post wax.. avoid ingrown hair, etc. BUT!! When I got home.. I still have some hair down there.. hmm... well, I sorta expected that while she was waxing, so that sucked. Other than that, great salon and nice receptionist! read more

However I have to say that I am SO impressed with the owner and the receptionists at Beau Shar. I have never been treated with so much respect and kindness when I've gone to a salon. I first found Judy on a Groupon Now coupon and have been a loyal client ever since. Other than her sparkling and friendly personality, the thing I loved about Judy was her teaching me about hair cycles. She scheduled my visits so now everything is long enough so that I have clean and smooth skin that is soft as a baby. I read on here a couple of comments about gloves - which seems odd to me. She uses hard wax and gloves would make it a little challenging to pull as painlessly as she does, bit I am sure that she has them on hand for any client that requests them.
