Her technique is also a true balayage that blends seamlessly and gives hair wonderful dimension, and I'm impressed by her ability to lighten hair in one setting then toning to get Asian hair to a more ashy, cool-toned since Asian black-brown hair tends to pull red/orangey by nature. You can see her work on instagram @hair_by_na_na She uses super quality products too like schwarzkopf and olaplex. I left with my hair feeling really soft and healthy despite the bleaching. I also like hearing from stylists what they recommend as maintenance. She was very thorough and detailed with her aftercare tips! - No shampooing for 3 days (she said water only is ok - not too cold or hot). This allows the cuticles to close while the color is getting deposited into your hair. - Start using a purple shampoo in 3 weeks to help keep brassiness at bay. - Use sulfate-free colored hair friendly shampoo/conditioner like Pureology. - Use something like Olaplex or K18 to keep hair strong and healthy. - In 2 months, come back for toning to refresh color. My balayage and cut took about 4.5 hours. Nana and Sean work together with the foiling and painting so it speeds things up. She provided a Fiji water and there's a little basket of snacks there too that you can munch on while she does her thing.

Price transparency is important to me, and at the very end I was charged exactly what I booked. My stylist was Mikayla, and she was incredibly meticulous/detail-oriented. She spent about 4.5 hours perfecting my Full Highlights, and I never felt like she was rushing through any part of the process. During the consultation, I felt heard. She listened to what I wanted without any judgment or pressure to steer me toward a different outcome. Instead, the conversation felt collaborative, with explanations that helped me make informed decisions. I know for some, having to chat for all that time may be daunting. Great Salon in Tustin!!! So, I previously went to another salon in Newport ( won't mention name ) to get a balayage and cut ! Worst mistake ever ! I ended searching on yelp for another salon to fix my hair. Salon 29:11 was my choice , met with Sanaz and she was able to redo my "messed up" color and re cut my hair to my liking. She consulted first and was very informative with the process would entail. Loved it! The salon is very chic and stylish! Clean!! All the girls there are super friendly and it's busy ! That's a good sign . They have parking which is a plus! I've noticed that they specialize a lot on hair extensions as well. Maybe next time , I would consider getting extensions !!! Okay so here is the low down, if you want your hair done right go to Sanaz! She is experienced, listens to what you want, and achieves what you ask for! Some stylists are good but Sanaz she kicks hair coloring out the field! I have gone to her for haircuts, color, balayage, blow outs, highlighting, ombré, hair color correction (her specialty!!) up-does, and probably a bunch of other things. Oh and she does makeup sometimes but that might be a side thing. Her hours are flexible too since I always call last minute! And the other reason I see her is because I can afford too! Being a professional I always have to look my best so I don't mind paying for a great job! read more

I started seeing Tami Marie when she was at Jessie Daniel Salon I was given a gift certificate from a family member. I was let go from my job 2 weeks ago & needed to have get a haircut & called Tami Marie she was able to get me in this afternoon & I had one of her new hair designers Brooke cut my hair. I love it, it is stylish trendy & gave me the pick me up I needed today. This Salon is so classy & trendy Tami did a greta job in setting up the salon, great location. 5 star This salon is lovely because it is the perfect mix of vintage and chic. Additionally, I love to come here because it is comfortable and the women who work there always provide a friendly environment. I usually have my hair cut by Tami, of whom I am very fond both professionally and personally. However, this time I received service from Ashley. Ashley is not only extremely advanced in her craft, but she is also a blast to be around. Love Salon 29:11! Tami,the salon owner,is simply amazing,sweet and kind! I was interested in getting natural hair extensions and Tami was able to accommodate my busy schedule by squeezing me in on a Saturday (her day off). In her meticulous perfection, she gave me a natural look by evenly attaching each hair bond to my existing hair. I have been going to Sanaz for many years, she not only cuts my hair but she has cut/colored my daughters hair as well. My daughters first real hair experience and she loved it. She gave her I believe it is called an ombré, and it was really neat! She definitely stays with the times, whether it is a simple cut, blow out or a Brazilian blow out, backstage or highlight she definitely knows what she is doing! I've been getting keratin treatments for about 15 years, and this was probably the worst one I've received. The treatment did not last at all, and part of the issue was the application process. Keratin needs to be sealed in by straightening small, thin sections so the product can properly bond to the hair. Instead, large chunks of hair were straightened at a time, so the treatment was not processed thoroughly or evenly. She also had someone else there during my appointment who seemed to be her friend, and they were talking about personal things the whole time. It made me feel awkward and trapped there with them, rather than comfortable and taken care of during the service.
