I visited this salon for a color treatment--to have my roots done. I've chosen NOT to return or the following reasons: (1) It seems like the practice is to have several stylists participate in getting the job done: One person washed, another person did the color, and a third did the blow-dry. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Even if a different person washes, my preference is for the stylist to color and blow-dry[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]; (2) The salon is WAY too noisy--WAY too hectic; and (3) the color of my roots ended up WAY darker than the muted tones of the rest of my hair. I would say that for reasons (1) and (2) above, this salon is not for me. read more

Summer is the absolute best! I got permanent makeup on both my brows and my lips. This is the best beauty-related decision I've ever done. It saves me so much time getting ready! She also does a really great job at hair. Pretty much all of my friends go to her and they always love how they look afterwards. But back to permanent make-up, I was somewhat nervous as I've never had permanent make-up before nor a tattoo or anything like that. It's a big commitment! But Summer did such an excellent job. My brows are shaped perfectly, and now I don't ever have to wear lipstick anymore -- which is great when having to wear a mask out in public. I highly recommend Summer and Studio M. Jordain gives true quality hair care! She takes the time to make sure she knows exactly what you want and pays attention to detail. So I had Summer Candow do my mom's tattoo eyebrows because she was sick last year and lost most of her brow hairs. My mom was super happy and encouraged me to get them for myself. I was hesitant as it seems like a big commitment and i was worried i would look like a different person. I like the natural no make up look and i was afraid this tattoo brows would be too dramatic for me. However i was also tired of drawing them on once a week when I remembered or had the time to do so. I finally took the leap and got them done and I could not be more happy with the result. Summer is naturally a perfectionist and wanted to get it just right. She listened and did what i wanted for my face. She corrected it to add more when I accidentally scratched a piece off during my sleep. She has been so amazing and I highly recommend her if you are feeling tired of looking like a sick person without brows. The brows truly frame your face and give you a youthful appeal.
