He was calm and happy, and it was nice to see. Princess Leia needed a little more help that day. She was pretty knotty and they did have to take off more hair than I hoped. One of the groomers explained that sometimes that much hair comes off when the knots are deep, and I appreciated the honesty. We were nervous about the idea of shaving her completely, since we really wanted to keep her looking like herself. That's when Dolores stepped in and saved the day. She said she'd work through Leia's knots even if it took a long time. And she really meant it. She spent almost two hours gently working everything out. Leia came out looking sweet and fluffy again, and I was so grateful for the care and patience Dolores gave her. It felt like she went above and beyond for us. Since we live close by, we'll keep coming back for the little things like nail trims. I'm hoping each visit gets even smoother as the team gets to know both Leia and Lalo better.

I don't know. I should have asked, but I just wanted to leave as quickly as possible. Their website is not working, so no more information is forthcoming, but they look to me like the products of a puppy mill, and seem to be treated like it. These are living creatures, not fashion accessories. If you have a soul, you would adopt a dog from a pound or rescue organization. At the very least, go to a respectable breeder. Yes, I know it is a pet store and there are live animals in here, but still I don't think it is clean the way it is supposed to be. This and sometimes not having enough personnel at the checkout lines. Other than that, everything else is pretty good, the level of products in stock provided it is not a big store, it is fairly easy to find parking if you are driving, etc. The cats in adoption section is my favorite. I come to the store every other week just to see them. PetSmart does a great job taking care of them and keeping them through adoption. Show some love and adopt one :)
