I think this store needs a better cleaning. Often times there is a funky smell in the air, just as soon as you step in. Yes, I know it is a pet store and there are live animals in here, but still I don't think it is clean the way it is supposed to be. This and sometimes not having enough personnel at the checkout lines. Other than that, everything else is pretty good, the level of products in stock provided it is not a big store, it is fairly easy to find parking if you are driving, etc. The cats in adoption section is my favorite. I come to the store every other week just to see them. PetSmart does a great job taking care of them and keeping them through adoption. Show some love and adopt one :) read more

We don't often go to this Petsmart but when we do, I am always impressed by how friendly the staff are! We love how they always have Christmas events where you can have your pets get a photo with Santa. As you might expect, most people bring dogs, but the staff including Santa have always been more than happy to see our cats and they deal with them very gently and calmly helping out our kitties at ease! And of course it's super convenient to load up on Christmas presents for them after. It's fairly convenient to park here as well. All in all, a great Petsmart! read more

This is the worst grooming experience we've had. My dog and I did not sleep at all, he was crying all night and I had to take him to the emergency for pain relieving medications. I asked for a simple wash, brush , and sanitary trim. I have a small Pomeranian. The woman Vanessa Dale scraped the skin on my dogs penis and anus, poor puppy cannot even sit still for a minute! For a pet store I can't give 5 stars when they sell animals. Adopt don't shop. Also after my friend had to go buy her cat back at pet smart after it escaped, was brought to a cat shelter and they donated it to pet smart for her then to only be able to buy it to get it back even she had pictures, will never have me give 5 stars here. Horrible customer service. I was late by one minute and they said my appointment was canceled however they NEVER sent and email or call to notify me of the cancellation. My appointment was at 5pm i walked in at 5:16pm (MIND YOU THEY CLOSE AT 9pm) and the dog tables were empty and they did not have any other dog being taken care of. This store is in a good location that is also next to many animal friendly places. That's nice, so I can continue to take my fur baby shopping. As soon as I walked in I was greeted. I'd never been here and didn't have any expectations, but that's a good start. I then plopped my cat carrier in a buggy and explored. I think the place is quite organized in its animal categories. I did notice a lot of random carts and retail items that obstructed some of the aisles. I wouldn't say it was the most neat and tidy, but it was pretty well stocked. Some things are a bit pricey here, too. Overall it was a nice experience, and my animal felt safe. I can't speak on behalf of any pet services l, though. read more

The worst!!! I HATE SAMANTHA the groomer manager who banned my service dog. For shaving her hair off. I have a sweet humble MORKIE she shaved my dog hair completely down to the skin. Ever since then Samantha wrote notes to not make my pet any appointments. I am upset at the fact SAMANTHA has a personal matter with me and banned my pet. For the sole fact she shaved my pet hair off to the point she looked like a chihuahua. This occurred over six months ago she continues to cancel all my dog appointment. Someone, PLEASE FIGHT FOR MY DOG RIGHTS! SHE DISCRIMINATES AGAINST MY DISABILITY. Help me with this issue that causing me hardship. Please help us have our groomer service again. The wynwood petsmart has been one of my favorite places to go and take my furry daughter because the clerks have always been pleasant to her and her stylist Yuly did a great job. However, when I went to schedule her spaw appointment at the end of February I was told tha Yuly is no longer with the company. I originally had no qualms about trying a new groomer, again, everyone had been sweet with her. However, when I picked up Luna this last Friday she was a little more than her usual post-grooming nervousness. When we got home, I noticed she was scratching her right ear a lot. Upon looking at it, I noticed it was red and with skin exposed. We put antibiotic cream, and called the store Saturday morning. To their credit, they told us to come back and had the Banfield veterinarian look at Luna. The vet said it was a minor irritation and it should go away within a week with both Neosporin and a cone they gave us. I understand accidents happen and yorkies tend to be one of the more active breeds at the groomer. My gripes are two: we never had this happen with her first groomer and I would have appreciated them mentioning something when I went to pick her up. There was nothing written on the report they gave me either. Perhaps if they let me check her before paying for the service I would have been able to QC the problem earlier. Needless to say, it's left me hesitant about coming back to this store. read more

Petsmart is a store that sells nearly anything you might need for any kind of pet, including some more exotic species. You can buy animals and pets here, and purchase everything necessary to care for them from food to medications to leashes, cages and pens to litter, toys, litter boxes, beds and everything in between. They also offer services such as grooming and training. The last time I was in the store, they had a local animal shelter or animal rescue set up in the back with 3 or 4 cats that were available for adoption, and they were handing out literature about their facility. Since this location is near the Shops at Midtown, parking is plentiful. One cool thing about Petsmart stores is that they welcome pets to come to their stores and bring their humans with them to shop, and they offer a fairly liberal return policy so if you buy a toy for your dog, for instance, and he/she doesn't pay any attention to it, you can return it rather than be stuck with something you'll never use. read more

We have come to this Petsmart on and off for years...cats, dogs, food, Santa pics, salon visits...as we've done with other Petsmart locations. Every time we've needed a nail trim, we've tried to book an appointment on the app but when we call, we've been told to WALK IN. Today, we walked in (as we've done before). After we were greeted by someone acting too big for his pet shop groomer britches rudely said the at nail trims are by appointment ONLY. That was the end of the "customer service." I don't know when this changed, but we called another location and we were told to WALK IN. Maybe other Petsmart locations just want to HELP THEIR CUSTOMERS. My Dogs had an appointment for a health certificate, which I made in advance. The person who took my info ask all the question needed. I told her that my travel date was Sunday 13Th, 2020, she said okay and gave me an appointment for today al 9 am. I was on time, delivered my dogs and when I was preparing to go I received a call saying that the Health certificate was not going to be ready before my travel date. Overall I had a good experience here. The store was clean and the aisles weren't blocked like a store I stopped in right before here. The staff was helpful and nice once I asked for help but when I walked in no one greeted me or asked if I needed help. One associate walked past me without greeting me. I came for a litter system and I was so happy that they had it. They even priced matched chewy prices which saved me 15 bucks! Can't beat that! Ok so I have been a customer at this location for about two years. Had my Braxton trained there by one of the best humans I have really ever known, Steven, who left to go to NJ or something like that. This is where I get my food for my babies. And not anymore. I have to find a different place to get food for them because I will NEVER give my hard earned money to this store again. I have been there before for grooming and was not happy with the fact they went and changed the groomer I made an appt for without my consent. And had not been back. But due to hurricane Irma I was desperate because of the storm and the subsequent money issues that followed I had to go there because of the price. That was a mistake because they tried to scam me. I have two TOY poodles who are very delicate and small. Now they are not tea cups but they are sure as heck not miniatures. And they have both been registered with the store and my online account as TOY poodles since they were both babies. I want to thank Vanessa for being so nice and accepting the two $10 off coupons for grooming I had from Petco because I wanted to come there instead and the money issues mentioned above. And that was what I was expecting. $43 each minus $10 each. But because of Braxton being extra kinky curly hair he was very matted around the neck and lightly matted thru the torso. And when Kenya called to say that it would be between $7 and $14 extra due to the time it was taking. Granted I had a 1pm appt that they called and asked me to come in early due to no other appts. Meaning they were not busy so this was just to pad the transaction. But I said ok. Thinking I was looking at $66+14 at the max. I get there and they said it was going to be $96 after the $20 off. I was dumbfounded. And granted angry. And of course they refuse to show you the dogs before you pay. Hey how about a cash register in the grooming area. Or the vet area. I had failed back surgery and back and forth was killing me. They don't care tho. They decided that my dogs were miniature and that jumped the base cost from 43-50. So that is when I snapped. I said what. You don't get to tell me what dog breed I have. I have had them since they were each 8 weeks old and spent my savings to get them. And I know what they are. Just as my vet knows what they are. And this was just a tactic to increase the price especially after I had been given a coupon price match from a manager. Then this other manager who was a male was very cold and condescending after I snapped about this did something and I ended up having to pay $79. If I wanted to pay $50+ I would have had them done at my house while I worked with mobile groomers who do everything. And not nickel and dime you for every little thing. Grooming is suppose to include nails, ears and for poodles anal glad expression. Which none of which I requested because of the extra costs. I will never go back. Rosie and Braxton will be put on a schedule and god willing they will never end up like this because of a hurricane again. Never go here because all they care about is charging you more than you agreed to. And the manager needs to get some people and customer service training. Now I know why there are so many open appt times online. They can't keep customers because they do these shady tactics. Again thanks Vanessa. I've been to this pet smart groomers a couple times now to get my dogs nails cut. He's a coton de tulear with anxiety. Every time I've taken him to the groomers I inform them of his anxiety so they know how to approach him. Not once in his 12 years has he been returned to me. There was a blonde girl who took him in and I let her know of his anxiety. She replied "it's ok if I can't do it I'll return him to you." First time hearing that and by no surprise, by 11:04 she was returning him to me because he moves too much.... My appointment was at 11. People are friendly and helpful, when I've asked for certain products or just general questions they always help out and take you there. Really big PetSmart, tons of products and a wide selection. The groomers at this location are really great. My dog is impossible to 50 lbs of impossible to wash/dry properly on my own. I'm grateful to all of them for what they do. My only complaint is that too often it takes a loooong time to get the basic paperwork done so you can leave at dropoff. They don't print it out in advance, sometimes the printer is temperamental, and it can be frustrating to wait 15 minutes when you have an appt. Still, for me and my pup, worth it. DO NOT BRING YOUR DOGS HERE FOR GROOMING!!! 5 minutes after I dropped off my West Highland Terrier, who is a little sweetheart, I got a call from the groomer that he needed to be picked up because he was hurting himself clawing at the kennel. Then I called again and spoke with someone else who told me the truth, that the groomer had cut his nails way too short which is why he was bleeding and in pain. They said we would need to stick around while they groomed him as he could no longer be in the kennel. Once they were done we noticed that he was red and bloody near his private parts and when we confronted the groomer she simply said "sorry dude." I couldn't believe it. Once we brought him home I took a closer look and noticed the haircut was totally uneven with patches in different lengths all throughout his body. What an absolute disgrace! My poor little guy is here next to me, still shaking and won't leave my side. This place is pathetic and should be shut down. Horrible and dangerous. read more

I scheduled an appointment online at 8 o'clock for my short hair small puppy, according the website there was availability for that time with the name of the person attending this appointment, after a long day of work I arrived the store on time to attend my appointment and they told me they were closed already with the poor excuse they needed 4 hours to bath my small puppy, really? the website says they closed Tuesday night at 10 o'clock and I think 2 hours is enough time to complete the service. This is a great store, lots of items; pricey and slow at the registers. They have ONE register always. Only time they open a second register is when it's closing hour. Tall blind and blond manager stands 10 minutes before close tine. There usually 7 to 10 customers on line be and he doesn't open a second register until it's 5 minutes to 9 pm. read more

The worst PetSmart I have ever been to. Management there is the worst. One time my dog needed a special food that you can buy only with a prescription. I usually went to another store but in that store, they did not have the food I needed. I came into this one, the cashier was so rude. She started arguing with me that she will not accept my prescription because it was on different paper. I was like what?! My dog's vet said that in every other PetSmart store they should accept this prescription but in this one NO! They were arguing with me and then the manager came in, he was not nicer either. He stated that they will not sell this food for me and my dog at that moment was super sick and could not eat another dry food. They literally let my dog starving!!! I have a cat. This is the closest Pet Smart to me. This place is simply ok. Sometimes the cat food is cheaper than Publix. Also, sometimes they have coupons available for some of their more expensive brands. The cat litter is also usually cheaper than Publix. The one thing that I don't like is that they discontinued the Rachael Ray brand I was buying for my cat. I also don't like that you have to pay for parking in that area. read more
