She takes the time to explain each step of the training and teaches us about the various behaviors and personalities of our pup! Most importantly - her positive-reinforcements and patience has been crucial for us and our puppy. She is very responsive and takes the time to help us out via text (thank you!!). Exceptional Emergency Veterinary Care!…read more I cannot say enough wonderful things about VEG Miami and the exceptional care my dog, Skylar, and I received! On Sunday morning, Skylar was experiencing concerning symptoms, and his regular veterinarian was closed. I called VEG Miami, explained the situation, and was encouraged to bring him in. My veterinarian had previously recommended VEG, and despite the 45-minute drive, I'm so glad I chose them. Parking was initially a nightmare, but once I learned there were dedicated VEG client spaces, I was able to move my car. A very kind gentleman on staff even took Skylar inside while I relocated it. That kindness set the tone for our entire visit. From check-in through discharge, everyone was compassionate, patient, professional, and genuinely caring. We were immediately given a private room with a sofa, where Skylar could be comfortable and less stressed. We arrived around 9 a.m. and left after 2 p.m., and we were never rushed. We stayed in that room throughout the visit, and Skylar was allowed to recover fully from sedation before going home. The team performed labs and X-rays, carefully evaluated his condition, and explained the findings. They also raised a concern about a medication Skylar had taken longer than recommended and ran additional tests to check for harm. Thankfully, the results were reassuring. Dr. Brannon was outstanding: patient, knowledgeable, informative, and genuinely attentive. He listened to my concerns and made me feel heard. He even offered more economical recommendations regarding a surgery Skylar's regular veterinarian had suggested. Emergency care is expensive, and VEG Miami is no exception. But I have no objection to paying premium prices for premium care. What especially touched me was that Dr. Brannon personally came into our room to apologize for the treatment quote and express his hope that I understood. As a business manager myself, I assured him that I completely understood and appreciated his thoughtfulness. He didn't owe me an apology, but that gesture spoke volumes about his compassion. Special thanks to Dr. Brannon, Nurses Manuela and Dayana, and CEC Priscilla. I wish I'd gotten everyone's names, because every single person we encountered was spectacular! My previous emergency veterinary experiences were at Knowles 24 Hour Hospital in North Miami. While its doctors were always excellent, my experiences with the other staff were less positive. VEG Miami's exceptional care and service made a remarkable difference. And the kindness didn't stop at discharge! On Tuesday morning, VEG texted to check on Skylar and invited me to call with any follow-up questions or concerns. Outstanding! What could have been an overwhelming day left me grateful, reassured, and confident Skylar was in excellent hands. Despite the distance, VEG Miami will be my first choice for emergency care for any of my pets. When we picked her up, I gave her water and she immediately started drinking it desperately. She didn't even greet us. She was more focused on drinking water than on seeing us, which says a lot about how thirsty she was. That behavior is not normal for her. Runa is not a dog that pants excessively unless she has been running a lot or is extremely tired. She almost never pants, not even when she's happy. That's why it really stood out to me that in every photo I received during her stay, she was constantly panting. At first glance, the dogs may appear "happy," but in reality they seem thirsty. She was there for only 5 days and still came back thinner and extremely thirsty. I can't imagine how uncomfortable that must have been for her , or how other dogs may be feeling if they are not being given proper access to water. I'm writing this with sadness, but also with the hope that this feedback leads to better care and attention to the well-being of the animals left at this place.

Banfield in Midtown is the best veterinarian clinic around…read more It's easy to schedule. The veterinarians are really kind and it's easy to book! Dr Taylor is very attentive and personable. Last time I took my puppy to Banfield he ensured I was updated every step of the way and that put me at ease. Although Banfield is a big company, the unit at midtown feels family based as they treat my pets by their names and they make sure I feel the family vibe they provide!! The online booking system doesn't seem to reflect actual in-person availability at all -- after you book, they call you to "confirm" whether that time slot is actually real. It's a complete waste of time to book online if someone still has to call and verify it. The communication here is abysmal. Most recently, my dog had a follow-up appointment for an infection, and the doctor never told me I needed to stop applying the ointment 3 days prior to the visit. So after waiting almost 30 minutes to check in, they informed me my dog couldn't even be seen -- because of something they should have told me in the first place. This is just one of several examples of poor communication and disorganization I've experienced here. I only continue coming here out of convenience, since there isn't a closer alternative. If there were, I'd be taking my business elsewhere.

I found this company through Yelp projects, and I was immediately contacted and was provided information on pricing, availability and to essentially set an appointment . Gabriella was the nice young lady that arrived at my complex on time and sent me a few text keeping updated on her ETA prior to arriving. I gave her a bit of information on how I would like my little pup to look and what I was looking for in terms of style. If you have a Yorkie, you know their hair grows super fast! I did ask for her to cut him down as low as possible, keeping his face on the rounded side, she did exactly just that. During the appointment, she texted me a photo of a little scab that was on mu pups ear, to make me aware that was already there and not caused by her. I appreciate it that she took the time to do that, and I had already known about the scab. The appointmentby took about an hour and 15 minutes and when she was done, she alerted me via text. Payment was very simple, as they do accept Zelle. I was very pleased with the outcome, and judging from the look and the action of my pup, I knew he felt comfortable with Gabriella. I'll definitely be contacting them again for future appointment., 10 out of 10 I would definitely recommend Dookie's pet grooming.
