i've had nothing but great experiences with doggie vip. they are extremely responsive, and I always feel at ease when my dog is in their care. They have very reasonable daycare rates, and since I live in the building it's very convenient, as they will just go up to my apartment and pick up my dog for daycare, and then drop her off at the end of the day. I love doggie vip! My dog goes here every day or gets a walk from them every day. He's super anti-social with other dogs so he just minds his own business when he's there but I like to get him out of the house. He loves all the employees and if I'm walking him and he sees a random person in a blue shirt and black leggings he gets excited thinking it's a doggie vip person! Haha! I love how flexible they are - he doesn't usually go on the weekends but if I text them and ask for a walk they respond right away. Doggie VIP is a dream come true! I feel so lucky, and am incredibly thankful that such a first-class, full-service doggie daycare is right next door. My dog Cash has been going there 1-2 times a week for almost a year, and his ears actually perk-up now when I say the word "daycare!" Everyone at Doggie VIP is amazing -- Angelica, Vladimir and Erika are the absolute BEST, and the proof is in the tail wags, because Cash (lovingly called "Cashito" at Doggie VIP) literally sprints into their arms for hugs and kisses everytime. The Doggie VIP staff goes out of its way to accommodate any special need you may have -- whether it's that you're running late at work and want to request a last-minute house drop-off, or simply heating up your dog's food, etc. And having the option of checking-in on your furbaby via their video camera system is fantastic!! (Cash can often be spotted cuddling in Erika's lap, getting spoiled with ear rubs!) Cash always comes back from daycare blissfully delirious, from playing and romping around non-stop with his best friends all day. I've even left my pup with Angie and Vladimir for a 3-night stay over a long weekend, and they sent me the most adorable photos and videos throughout his stay with them! I completely trust Doggie VIP with my Cashie boy because I know they love him just as if he were one of their own family pets. Very happy with their services. Had taken our pup elsewhere and never got any info on his day or whether he went to the bathroom during the day etc. At Doggie VIP they keep a record of all of the above and you can watch them on a live video cam. Attentive, kind, professional! Love that they have an outdoor space that the dogs go out to play every few hours. They get to romp freely and aren't all in one room all day long. Larger dogs are kept separate from the smaller ones as well which I feel is a plus. Don't want to go anywhere else now. read more

Doggie VIP was hired to walk our dog over a two day period. He was walked only once. More importantly he was left with no food or water for over 24 hours & went #1/#2 in my home. The walker texted me an hour or two after she was supposed to be walked in the morning advising me that it was raining and that she did not have a car to come so the dog was left unattended for the entire day (until I arrived home). No excuse is acceptable in this instance. Dog should have been walked rain or shine at the time requested. If you care for your pet and expect this company to give the same level of care I would hire another company and avoid Doggie VIP. read more

This is going to be a long review, but I cannot sing enough praises for Doggie VIP. I have only been going to Doggie VIP for a little over 2 months, but my experience has been absolutely wonderful. This place really loves the dogs they care for and have made me feel so comfortable as an owner every time I left my dog with them. I first started with Doggie VIP shortly after I moved into the building where they are located. They had a 14 year old boston terrier that needed to be re-homed. This was someone else's dog that was boarding with Doggie VIP, and her family wanted to bring her to a shelter, but Doggie VIP loved her so much that they took it upon themselves to find this senior dog a new home - how awesome is that? Through them we met our dog Nina and decided to adopt her. Over the past few months Nina has gone to dog daycare with them 2-3 times a week. They really loved her. She was slow and old, and deaf, and they were still so loving with her and treated her just as well as some of the more active and friendly, younger dogs. They would send me pictures every now & then of her just being cute doing regular things - the kind of pictures that usually only an owner really loves (her smiling while walking in the sun, her sleeping in her dog bed looking adorable, her snuggling in the arms of one of the staff). They were always so responsive and easy to work with, they were only a text away and answered quickly. This past weekend my husband went home out of state and left Nina to be boarded. Unfortunately she experience a medical emergency, but the the Doggie VIP staff were so quick to respond. They recognized that her breathing was labored and right away took her to the pet ER which is 30 mins away and stayed with her well past their business hours. I am so thankful that she was with people who knew her so well to recognize that something was wrong. Sadly, this event was too much for our old girl to pull through, and we had to let Nina go just a week shy of her 15th birthday. The staff at Doggie VIP mourned with us and were so supportive. They had such kind words for us during this difficult time. Again, they truly loved Nina, and it showed. We cannot thank the staff at Doggie VIP enough for everything they did for us & for Nina, and for everything they continue to do for the dogs that they care for. I would recommend them 1000x over if you are looking for a place that will treat your dog like their own. When we get another dog, I wouldn't take them anywhere other than Doggie VIP. So 2 years ago my husband and I lived in Bayparc where Doggie VIP is located, and both our dogs loved it. We would send them down for daycare, grooming and on occasion board them when we would fly out for a few days. Fast forward 2 years and we have moved up the street to a condo and I called a was like I don't know if you remember me or our dogs and she immediately said aren't you Cornelius's dad. I was like oh my goodness. She was so polite and accommodating when I explained we were flying home for the holiday. I know my babies are being taken care of and will enjoy their holiday as well. At first sight, Doggie VIP seemed like a nice reliable place to leave my baby while traveling. Their rating was high and the reviews were good... I proceeded to talk to the owners (who work on-site) to make sure they were reliable and we actually did a 1 day trial to make sure my doggie was comfortable with the other doggies at the daycare. Everything went well, so the following week I left my doggie and left to Europe. Next thing I know, around EOD (Miami time) Doggie VIP sends me a message via whatsapp (through the daycare account) saying that my dog's eye was closed shut, itchy, and had some secretion coming out... they also included a picture and said that they would come check on him the next day at 7am. I immediately called back to gather more info to see what was going on, but the employees had left for the day and surprise! they left my dog in the daycare without medical attention overnight!!!! In the meantime, I was so worried but couldn't do anything until Doggie VIP opened next morning. Next day, I called at 7am sharp, an employee answered and told me that my dog had gotten worst and couldn't move.. She said the eye was so swollen and sent me a picture. I panicked and asked what happened to my baby in the first place, she said nobody knew....I told her to take my dog to emergencies and she answered that they had to wait for the owner of the daycare to arrive (She was supposed to arrive at 7am to check on my dog). I called 30 min later, I was desperate and didn't know anyone in Miami who could go pick my dog up (I had just moved to Miami). Again the owner hadn't arrived yet. It took her until 10am to arrive and decide to take my dog to emergencies. I was crying and looking for flights back.... I asked Doggie VIP to keep me posted as soon as they arrived to the vet. (they told me that the husband of the owner was leaving with my dog around 10am, then I receive a call from the vet around 11am saying "Hello, we just wanted to confirm that you are bringing Tae (my dog) as an emergency? We are ready for her." I freaked out, Vladimir (the husband of Doggie VIP's owner) wasn't at the vet yet and 1 hour had passed by.... I called his wife, (the owner) and she tells me "yes my husband is already at the vet and your dog is being taken care of," I told her that the vet had just called me and that my dog wasn't at the vet yet and she became nervous and told me that she didn't know where her husband was.... Long story short... my dog ended up hitting the vet around 12pm (I don't know why!). Then Vladimir calls me saying that he is at the vet but he has things to do so he will leave my dog there alone.... I said "NO, please stay with my dog because I want to know what the doctor is saying and what the doctor would do to her" Well, he left anyways..... I desperately called the doctor directly since my dog needed to be transferred to an eye specialist because her eye was tremendously infected. Again, Vladimir was supposed to pick my dog up & take her to the eye clinic but he decided to take his time and took a few hours to do so. I was pissed, desperate, worried!!! When my dog arrived at Animal Eye guys Vladimir called me & told me that the doctor said it was a tooth infection, I believed him.... I finally landed & picked up my baby. The doctor confirmed that it was NOT a tooth infection! Doggie VIP lied so I wouldn't blame them. The reality was: My dog was bitten by another dog, the eye was left wounded overnight & the bacteria ate my dog's cornea to the last layer in some areas (attached pictures/you can see the teeth marks on my dog head). My dog required 12 meds a day for 5 months and a skin flap emergency surgery. Up until now my dog hasn't recovered fully & the last layer of her eye punctured yesterday. She just underwent a second surgery for corneal transplant this time.. Doggie VIP did no give a care, CHARGED me for the emergency doctor while I was away! CHARGED me for the daycare service! & said I should be thankful that they took my dog to the doctor because that WASN'T their responsibility. read more

If I could give ZERO, I will do. Went twice for a Westie hair cut. First time was rather OK, not the best but not bad. Traveled for 6 months and came back, after two great haircuts in SPAIN and Bucharest. But today, after more than 3 hours of " work" the result is worse than I could imagined. Perhaps the groomer, with good overbooking managed to screw u- something and had to basically do a full hair cut with some awful attempts to 'save something'. What a great place! I have a 5 month old puppy and I started taking him to this daycare and he is a completely different dog. He is much more playful and confident around other dogs now, and absolutely loves the people who work there. The place is run by a couple who treat your pup as if it was their own, they have webcams so you can check on your furry child anytime of the day also! They are located right next to the Margaret Pace dog park which means they take them out on walks throught the day, and they have cute little hooks with the names of each dog to hang their stuff on! They will feed them and give them medicine if necessary, and overall they are some of the nicest people! Doggy VIP is a lifesaver! At the last minute, we needed a place to board our bullmastiff over the holiday. And despite being full, they made an exception and allowed her to stay with them. They were so accommodating and sweet. Laura took us right in and Caroline and the other employees worked to make her comfortable. They sent us a bunch of pictures throughout the day to assure us she was doing well. And we also had access to their video cameras so we can watch her during the day. My dog Tobi went for his first time to daycare last week to Doggie VIP and he was so loved during his visit!
