We absolutely trust and love Peace Love Paws! We have used the boarding service for our boxer about three times now and would continue to bring our dog here as long as we need to. The house has a large backyard where you can see there's space for the dogs to run and play. Anthony takes daily pictures of the dogs and sends them over so we can see the group of dogs and what they are up to. He has a magic power (for real) because he manages to keep all these dogs sitting while taking pics lol. Our dog feels like he's at home there since we take his bed, leash, and food. Also, Anthony is very easy to reach. We would answer your call/texts right away or within mins! we heard from him through our building. It turned out that a lot of ppl use their services here so that gave us more peace of mind. Attention dog parents, please read this carefully!‼ The dogs may appear "happy," but in reality they are thirsty. My dog came back noticeably thinner. When we picked her up, I gave her water and she immediately started drinking it desperately. She didn't even greet us. She was more focused on drinking water than on seeing us, which says a lot about how thirsty she was. That behavior is not normal for her. Runa is not a dog that pants excessively unless she has been running a lot or is extremely tired. She almost never pants, not even when she's happy. That's why it really stood out to me that in every photo I received during her stay, she was constantly panting. At first glance, the dogs may appear "happy," but in reality they seem thirsty. She was there for only 5 days and still came back thinner and extremely thirsty. I can't imagine how uncomfortable that must have been for her , or how other dogs may be feeling if they are not being given proper access to water. I'm writing this with sadness, but also with the hope that this feedback leads to better care and attention to the well-being of the animals left at this place. read more

I recently left my dog in Peacelovepaws. First of all I wasn't allowed to see the property where she was staying at for four nights. I asked to go to the bathroom and they denied my entrance and unfortunately I'm new in Dade County and my flight was leaving in two hours so I trusted the 5 star review and left her there. After I picked her up again they did not allowed me to go in again and when I went to the back of the house they have all the dogs together like a farm. All the dogs were in one place. Very dirty house from what I saw in the outside. My dog came to my house acting weird she was shaking, she wasn't eating and lastly she got sick. My dog is at the hospital right now at Pet Express Animal hospital. She had a fever of 103 for a whole week. Please don't trust the reviews. RUN from this place. If your love your furry baby DO NOT leave them there. Do yourself a favor and go somewhere else where your dogs will receive the proper care. Animal Services needs to go to this house ASAP. Pets are not being taken care properly. My dog looked like she was abused. I wasn't allowed in I know they can't denied the entrance to animal services. read more

To put my review in one word it would be 'Perfect' I started using Anthony and Karla for boarding almost a year ago now when I first moved to Miami from the UK. I travel infrequently for my role and I didn't want to put my 2 dogs under unnecessary stress by using a traditional kennel and I was looking for an open environment, Peace Loves Paws was the result. They wanted to meet the dogs first to ensure they would be settled in their home. As soon as you meet Anthony and Karla, you instantly warm to them and the passion they have for the animals is very evident. I instantly felt at ease. The picture updates and the brilliant group photo's that they get are brilliant at putting your mind at rest. More recently I have been using them for my walking services. I tried a few companies before and found every other company the same with what the called a 30min walk which turned out to be a 10 min at best pee break. Now I arrive home to find 2 very happy dogs, no accidents and they also no longer have to be taken out as soon as get home. The have also stopped eating the furniture! I especially love the group walks my dogs get to go on as well, its great that they are able to interact with other dogs. I have many problems with "Peace Love Paws". My husband and I took our babies here a handful of times and every time something sketchy happened. First of all they won't even let you in the gate or inside the house. I would really like to see where my dogs are staying. I understand they don't want to just open the gate Willy nilly when taking care of dogs but it just gave off a really sketchy vibe. Their old house used to be very cute, but the new house moved further into an already questionable neighborhood. They want you to call or text when you arrive but they don't answer for a good 10 minutes once you arrive leaving you standing outside with your dogs, even after you alert them you are on the way. Also, good luck getting in touch with them to check in your dogs. It would be hours before Karla answered her text messages. Often I would have to text her multiple times. Her excuse was that she was at work at another job, again, why am I taking my dogs here when they could go to another place where taking care of dogs is their only priority. The thing that irks me about all of this this is, they charge the same amount as a professional doggie boarding place, but run it out of their home. If I were to call a professional boarding facility someone would immediately answer and give me and update, it should be the same here. PLP is very unprofessional. Also you would expect that since they are running it from their home you would have more flexible pick up and drop of times since they claim someone is always there with the dogs (I'm suspicious this isn't the case), but they actually have very strict pickup and drop off. At this point why am I even taking them to someone's home if I'm not getting more personalized service and even losing most of the benefits of a professional service? Finally, one of my dogs had explosive diarrhea EVERY TIME he returned from their house. I waited until they stayed with another sitter before I confirmed that it was in fact, peace love paws and not my dog getting nervous. Lo and behold my dog has stayed with two new companies and returned how perfectly fine both times. My husband and I both believe that they feed them other dogs or random food because every time we send them to peace love paws they had much more than enough food and they never sent any back. Also they claimed he didn't have diarrhea there however last time we picked him up his bed had a diarrhea stain on it and smelled of diarrhea. It had clearly been attempted to be washed so to finally catch them in their lies I called and asked if his bed had been washed, they said no, then when I said are you sure, he yet again has diarrhea and the bed smells she said her mom washed it to be nice (none of their things had ever been washed before) and he didn't have diarrhea when he was there. The fact that my dog had diarrhea on his bed was frightening and startling as my dog is EXTREMELY well house-trained. I also believe he must have been caged because he would never use the bathroom ON HIS OWN BED unless he was trapped. No dog does this. I'm writing this review because I just picked my dogs up from a professional boarding facility that was in Wynwood, cheaper than Peace Love Paws by $10 a day, had the same pick up and drop off (however they have employees that clock in and out so it's understandable), they actually answered the phone when we called to check on them, AND gave the dogs a complimentary bath since they stayed 5 days. We got the food they didn't eat back, and their bedding and toys were washed not because they had used the bathroom on them, but because they do that every time with all clients. I didn't want to write this review but the service we got at the two other places we recently took them made us realize how poor of service we got a plp. read more

I am extremely pleased with Karla. She has been walking my dogs for 2 years and I am more than happy with her. I have two French Bulldogs (they are in her photo album) and they absolutely love her.
