We've used dog boarding services before Pet Squire. unfortunately, we didn't love our experience. Other dog boarding places made it feel clinical and not very warm/personal. Some even leave them in crates all day. Our two mini schnauzers are our babies. They arent accustomed to crates and are extremely anxious when we aren't around. When we first called Pet Squire, we were met with warmth and professionalism. We were guided on what would be in the best interest of our babies as far as services and our budget. Pet squire encouraged a meet and greet to make our babies more comfortable. That meet and greet (or meet and sniff) alone made US a million times more comfortable. We received a tour, spoke at length about our babies' needs and left with peace of mind. Boy did Pet Squire take care of our babies. Not only was Marisel professional and knowledgeable but she was also so very loving and attentive to our babies. We received pictures and videos while on our trip and we were able to relax knowing our babies were being not only taken care of but also loved. Our babies had a blast! Picking them up felt like we were picking our babies up from their favorite Tia's (aunt's) house. For the first time ever they were fully socialized and part of a pack . MY HEART! I absolutely love Pet Squire! It's super convenient and about 10 minutes away from where I live. My dog Lola always seems to enjoy her stay and the staff is careful to take extra steps to for her because of her special needs (a paw injury from when she was a stray caused her bones to grow crookedly). I was happy to have received daily pictures of my dogs, but they didn't seem to be interacting with other dogs in any of the pictures, which I was a bit disappointed about. After a five day international trip, I was really expecting to pick up my dogs in a condition that was reasonable. However, my dogs came home smelling as if they had been sitting in their own piss for days. I was extremely upset and frustrated that the fee I paid did not include at least a quick bath before sending them home. It also made me question the condition they were left in. My dogs are potty trained, so not sure why they would be smelling like pee... Despite some favorable reviews, my experience was less than favorable. read more

We love everyone at Pet Squire. Our english retriever can be a little skittish, especially around new people, places and other (sometimes loud!) dogs but she loves going to doggy daycare. So much so, we excitedly whimpers in the car when she sees us pulling up. The staff always love on her, we get multiple updates throughout the day with videos and pictures and the staff are very responsive. We've looked at other daycares in the past and they are either incredibly expensive (note: outrageously expensive) and just nickel and dime you for the most of things like playtime. Edit: At 9:30 the owner saw the texts and came immediately to let me in and get me my dog. I asked for a refund of everything except the deposit and she agreed to that. She felt very bad and said that the employee got into a serious accident and other employee called in sick. I understand these things happen but think it's important to leave the review up in case it is a pattern. Side note though: why only have one staff person for all those dogs? It seemed sketchy and I honestly am really surprised it had so many good reviews. Original review: Wow, I am appalled. I read all the positive reviews and figured this would be a good place to leave my dog for three nights as a last minute choice for a weekend trip. First I registered online for the suite and they then called me and told me they didn't have the suite, didn't have the treats I signed up for, but they had room in the play pen. She reassured me and I took the spot anyway. What a mistake. I signed up for 8am pick up on Monday. In the WhatsApp message they sent me it clearly stated that pick up before 9am was free. Their confirmation over the phone agreed to an 8am pick up. I arrived to the location at 7:55am and no one was here. I called, rang the door bell, knocked on the door, with no luck at all. I sat in my car and periodically went out to try the door bell again, called every 10 mins, even walked around to try to find another entrance. It is now 9:15 am and I have still gotten no response by phone, whatsapp, doorbell. I have been waiting one hour and fifteen minutes since the agreed upon pick up time. I've never experienced anything like this and am quite frustrated by the positive reviews. I suppose this must be a fluke incident if everyone else had has had such great experiences. But I can hear a dog that's been barking for the last hour through the upstairs window which makes me think they aren't super attentive (I mean, they literally aren't here). So... yeah. Honestly this has been such a bad experience I don't think I'm ever going to use a boarding service again. Anyway, I hope this helps someone avoid what I am currently going through! read more

The owner was super friendly and helpful with helping set my appointment up and her two employees (Caesar and Carolina) that came out to watch my fur babies were amazing . They sent photos and videos of my fur babies so I knew they were fine. They spoiled them with all the attention they gave them. I have them booked again for July to watch my fur babies. I boarded my French Bulldog, Parker, for two weeks at Pet Squire and could not be happier! He was able to play with other dogs his size and they sent me pictures almost daily via WhatsApp. On the second week, my Frenchie had what seemed to be a minor allergic reaction. Pet Squire not only called me to let me know what was going, but they also sent me pictures of the affected area and were able to treat it with some Benadryl and Neosporin-they cared for my dog like he was their own pup! If you want to feel at ease boarding your fur baby, don't go anywhere else. Marisol and her staff are all amazing. Our boy enjoys being at Pet Squire possibly more then he likes he likes home!! They communicate with you daily, with messages, photos, and videos so you're always in the loop with how your baby is doing. As a new dog mom to a sometimes very sensitive nervous Nelly Chihuahua (I'm her third owner and her last! ), and an anxious person myself, it's been really hard to leave my Ginger when I travel. Family and friends did me the favor a few times, but when they weren't available, I tried Pet Squire, and I'm so happy I did! Anyone can feed your dog and let it out to do its business for a few days, but Marisel and her husband do SO much more than that. They spoiled my sweet babygirl with so much love, attention, and adventures. They let her be free around the house and even snuggled up with her in the bed at night (she was in heaven!). They also sent me a ton of updates, photos and videos without me even having to ask every single day I was away. Ginger was super relaxed and happy with them, and came back super happy and super tired from all her adventures while mommy was away. And when it was time to take her home, you could tell they were legitimately sad to see her go. So sweet!! I will never stress traveling again and having to leave Ginger because I know she will actually look forward to her little vacations with Pet Squire, and I am confident she will be safe, loved and spoiled rotten just like momma likes it. We were so fortunate to have found Pet Squire in Miami for out Siberian Husky Appa. We were new to Miami and found them after visiting and interviewing several places near Coral Gables. The owner and staff are like family to Appa. They quickly learned his personality and temperament. We get updated pics and video of him playing almost daily. We know is happy and safe there. Boarding services are also very excellent with options at the facility or a home. Rare incidents of resource guarding or Appa being mischievous are promptly reported to us and resolutions are made to remediate the problem. The owner Marisel and her son became a second family to Appa. Appa sometimes does not want to come home when picked up. Appa will move back to Dallas after almost 1 year at Pet Squire. Appa will surely miss Pet Squire very much! I don't think we will be able to find a day dog daycare like Pet Squire in Dallas. read more

We needed boarding for our baby Stella (75 lb Golden Retriever) on pretty short notice. Marisel invited us on a tour the very next day to guide us on how she cares for the animals. We were so impressed on how she runs her business as a home and not a kennel. She treats each animal as if it were one of her own. Her house is immaculate and organized and plenty comfortable for any sized dog. So Stella arrived for a 10 day visit shortly after the tour and we immediately started to receive texts with pictures and videos of her getting acclimated in the house and playing with new friends. And that stream of communication from Marisel never stopped as she promised. We were always informed on how she slept, how she was playing, behaving and socializing. We like to travel and had always left her in the care of a different boarding house we trusted (or so we thought). I won't get into those ugly details however you can imagine how difficult it was leaving our Stella behind after that experience. Until we found Marisel... She was a God- send. Stella was cared for just like we would or even better. If anyone has reservations or guilt on leaving your animal behind, feel at ease that they will be in good hands at Pet Squire.
