Charlie post daycare and groom

We've been taking our dog here for years! Love all the team members . They are all very nice and professional . Love the daily pictures they send as well to update us during the day. Also, we have had a wonderful grooming experience ! We always book the daycare with grooming and he always comes back tired and clean . Highly recommend

My furry nephews, Beauregard absolutely LOVES everyone at Pet Squire, but he especially Loves Cesar who always goes above and beyond and is an exceptional representation of Pet Squire and their care with our Babies. During Puppy Bus pick-up & drop-off, sending pictures updates throughout the day and accommodating grooming needs or special deliveries. Did I mention they host Puppy Birthday Parties?! Per Squire THANK YOU for always taking such great care of Beau!

Poop on the bumper from the dog when she tried to climb into the car to go home. Poor thing.

Had high hopes for this boarding experience and was so disappointed. The location is dirty and my poor dog was covered in dog feces when we picked her up. . My husband and car had feces on them and we are spending the day washing her, him AND the car. Never again!

A good friend of mine had great results in getting his puppy groomed at this store. Next time I will let my puppy get groomed here too.

I found this great loving and amazing place after my wife and I separated. I needed daycare for the dog. I can honestly say i and my dog not only are happy but we love everyone there. This place is a gem. They love their clients and care to a level you don't see often. When I turn to their street hank recognizes the street and start jumping and crying from happiness. They are a God sent

I can't thank Marisel and her staff at Pet Squire for the care and love they give to my baby Nauvoo. My dog is very nervous and doesn't get along with most dogs. They do a great job socializing her and giving her personalized care and attention when needed. I wouldn't trust anyone other than Pet Squire with my doggy. In addition, they have a wider variety of services at very reasonable prices compared to most places I've researched. Thank you again. Nauvoo will be back soon.

I would 100% recommend Pet Squire! We recently got our kitty from the shelter and and haven't left his side for more than a day to two. So when it came time to look for a place to take care of him while we went on vacation for two weeks, we we're definitely nervous. Thankfully Pet Squire was close to home. I looked forward to the pictures they would send us almost everyday. So grateful they took such good care of my little boy Jason!

my dogs nail fell COMPLETELY off and they didn't even notice !!!

rants and raves about how they pay close attention to their pups but didn't notice that my dog lost his ENTIRE nail? Rude and started ignoring me as soon as she got my credit card on file. told me i would get a second dog discount and then told me she never said that. i was anxious the whole weekend because she started to ignore me and it for good reason. eventually i got photos of my dogs ... they snap 3-4 blurry photos of your dogs peeing per a day and call it amazing customer service. accidents happen but the owners arrogance and greedy nature is incredibly disturbing and disgusting. i am worried about what my dogs went through while i was gone.

Lola

I absolutely love Pet Squire! It's super convenient and about 10 minutes away from where I live. My dog Lola always seems to enjoy her stay and the staff is careful to take extra steps to for her because of her special needs (a paw injury from when she was a stray caused her bones to grow crookedly). They are always accommodating if I need to board on short notice and send regular photos which I really appreciate. I would highly recommend!

After six months of searching and speaking to trainers across multiple states and Canada, I found them through a TikTok video. When I called, Taryn's incredible customer service, patience, and empathy made the process so much easier. She answered all my questions and worked with me on payments to create the best package for Luna. Before drop-off, I met Wil during an unplanned tour, and his honesty and confidence reassured me I was making the right choice. Wil went above and beyond during Luna's training. Knowing I was anxious, he modified the standard report cards to include videos with voiceovers explaining her progress and the reasoning behind each exercise. This thoughtful gesture made me feel connected to the process and will help me reinforce her training at home. Before the program, Luna was reactive--not aggressive but overly excitable. After three weeks, she's still her fun, wacky self, but now she listens, follows commands, and stays calm around other dogs. While there's still work to do, her foundation is strong, and I'm confident moving forward. Luna is now a service dog in training, and Applause Your Paws laid the groundwork to make that possible. I'm already planning to send her back this summer because they're amazing at what they do. I'm so grateful to Wil, Taryn, and the entire team for their care and dedication!

After having our dog for 24 days, it became very clear there was a complete lack of communication, professionalism, and understanding of our living situation. We live in a high-rise condo, yet somehow they spent weeks training our dog to go outside in a backyard setting -- something that does not apply to our home at all. How this was never clarified during nearly a month of training is beyond concerning. What's even more upsetting is that our dog came back terrified of car rides, which was never an issue before. As owners, that is heartbreaking to witness. After reviewing the videos and conditions of the trainer's home, we were honestly shocked. The house appeared trashed, chaotic, and nowhere near the professional environment we were promised when paying for "professional" dog training services. Nothing about this experience reflected the level of care, structure, or quality that was advertised. We invested a significant amount of money trusting this company with our dog, and the results were disappointing from start to finish. Between the misrepresentation, poor communication, and lack of professionalism, this experience felt extremely misleading. Save your money and do your research before trusting this company with your pet.

It's comforting knowing Riley gets a walk during the day with someone I trust with both access to my home and with him. Having a dog who can sometimes have separation anxiety, it's a relief knowing he's excited to be dropped off at a home that makes him happy and where I know he's being loved as much as I love him. It's also fun to get the photos of where he's been on his walks and who's he's hanging out with!

When we picked her up, I gave her water and she immediately started drinking it desperately. She didn't even greet us. She was more focused on drinking water than on seeing us, which says a lot about how thirsty she was. That behavior is not normal for her. Runa is not a dog that pants excessively unless she has been running a lot or is extremely tired. She almost never pants, not even when she's happy. That's why it really stood out to me that in every photo I received during her stay, she was constantly panting. At first glance, the dogs may appear "happy," but in reality they seem thirsty. She was there for only 5 days and still came back thinner and extremely thirsty. I can't imagine how uncomfortable that must have been for her , or how other dogs may be feeling if they are not being given proper access to water. I'm writing this with sadness, but also with the hope that this feedback leads to better care and attention to the well-being of the animals left at this place.

Most concerning was a medication dispensing error: I was given sucralfate tablets when the prescription instructions referred to a liquid suspension. After I emailed the hospital in the morning, I received an email instructing me not to administer the medication. Since I was working and unable to respond, the clinic owner called me in the middle of my workday to explain the situation. The explanation did not resolve my concerns about how such an error could happen or why I was given a medication that did not match the intended prescription. I should not have to identify medication discrepancies myself to protect my dog's safety, nor should I have to interrupt my workday to resolve an error that could have been prevented. I spent approximately $400 expecting professional, reliable care. Unfortunately, this experience has seriously undermined my trust in this hospital, and I will not be returning. I sincerely hope the clinic improves its medication dispensing procedures, staff training, and patient-handling protocols--not for my sake, as I will not be returning, but for the safety and well-being of other patients, especially vulnerable pets and senior dogs who depend on their owners and veterinary professionals to keep them safe.

I trusted them with FOUR of my dogs, and when I addressed what happened, the groomer, Mafer, didn't even want to acknowledge that she had done this. To top it all off, she didn't even finish grooming my last dog because she said she "didn't want to cut him." After 6 years of being a loyal customer and trusting this company with my dogs, this is absolutely unacceptable. When it comes to our pets, we trust groomers to care for them and treat them as if they were their own. Today completely broke that trust for me. I will NOT be bringing my dogs back. They lost a loyal customer today. Please be careful who you trust with your fur babies. Based on my experience today, I would recommend taking your dogs somewhere else. ******* UPDATE******** Your response makes absolutely no sense to me. Whether my dogs were groomed six months ago or six weeks ago does NOT justify them being cut to the point of BLEEDING. If my dogs were as severely matted as you are claiming, then as the professionals, you should have called me and explained the situation BEFORE continuing with a shave so close that my dogs ended up with cuts and irritated skin. You could have stopped the grooming rather than continue to the point where they were hurt. Let's also be very clear: I was not upset because my dogs were shaved short. I was upset because they came home CUT, BLEEDING and uncomfortable. There is a huge difference. I trusted your company with my dogs for SIX YEARS. Instead of simply taking accountability for what happened, your response seems to place the blame on how much time had passed since their last appointment. That does not address the actual issue. And if this was simply normal irritation from shaving a matted dog, why were the grooming charges waived? My dogs cannot speak for themselves, so I will. I stand by my review and by my decision to no longer trust Poochie on Your Block with my dogs.
