This is my toy poodle after a "fresh cut". A chunk of fur was left on her tail. Very easy fix but not something D.O.G. cared to do. The groomer does not care about your requests for a cut, listens, nods and says yes only to do whatever they feel. I have given this place way too many chances and after today I will not be returning. Today they also attempted to overcharge me $80 for this mediocre "cut" that is $65 according to their price list (not my first time here). Overall an unpleasant experience and I would NOT recommend this place for your pet. read more

I would give DOG 10 stars if I could! They take the absolute best care of our pups that anyone could hope for. The entire staff, especially the groomer Chris, go above and beyond for us. We have a Shiba Inu and, though she is the best, she is a huge drama queen and won't let anyone but Chris cut her nails. We use them for day care, overnight care, and grooming, and just could not be happier!!! read more

they never answer the phone they charged my card without asking and it was the wrong card left voicemail no one got back to me called twice to confirm my pick up time for no reason yep follow the instructions front desk ladies are rude picked up a wet dog even though they had to annoyingly call REPEATEDLY so many times to confirm pick up. I was right on time. why wasn't my dog dry? this location sucks in every single way. I won't be back. not to mention the very first time I brought him here he left peeing blood with no explanation. don't bring your animals here if you expect to have a good experience. AND they charged me $16 for cutting his nails but DIDNT CUT THEM and then I had to call for a refund because these incompetent people cannnot do their jobs or get anything right. shouldn't have to chase you down after you charge me for services that weren't provided. read more

This is home away from home for my 3 dogs. Bernie, Benji, and Bunny LOVE this place. Every time we leave them here I am confident in knowing they will be looked after and given the proper care. My 3 dogs don't usually like new things but they've grown to love this place and the staff in it. My dogs always come home happy and pooped out from their stay! Some of the times they don't even say bye to me when I drop them off! I recommend this place to all my friends, we love the staff and how we can see our dogs on their insta story! read more

With Covid times, our cutie Goose is starting to get a bit stir crazy. We haven't been able to go to the dog park as frequently and he clearly misses his doggy friends. Dog is wonderful!! In this heat, he has an air conditioned space to play and romp with his friends while under the supervision of great trainers. Because the space is air conditioned, we feel more comfortable when he's here during these hot summer months. Dog allows them to play, nap during the day, and will feed them lunch too if you so desire for your pupper! Their hours are great too and make it easy for anyone working to drop off and pick up their loved ones! read more

These guys are great, we have entrusted our 7-month old doodle here now 3 times for day care. Haven't done boarding (yet) but it will be our first choice when that time comes. All the staff is super friendly and obviously dog-loving. The big glass window behind reception lets you really see just where your doggie will be most of the time. Plus, after looking at several other spots in the area that were not air conditioned the indoor-oriented approach here better suits my black-haired beast! They did a very nice job too giving him a bath last time, even doing some extra grooming I didn't request (or get charged for) because they noticed it was really needed. Active posters of Instagram stories too so you can 'check on' your dogbaby during the day via IG. Would prefer if they had a webcam we could directly log on to but not a biggie, esp. again as they are pretty active posting on the Gram. read more

My puppy burst a blood vessel in his eye while getting groomed because he was so terrified and D.O.G totally mishandled the situation. I'd add pictures to this review, but Yelp's setting won't let me; the whites of his entire right eye were completely colored like blood. We took our 10 month old Australian Shepherd puppy to D.O.G several times and I can say, prior to this one experience, I was happy with the overall experience. Last week, we picked our puppy up from daycare + grooming and we immediately knew that something was wrong when we arrived. Ironically, I emailed D.O.G that day to ask how Bentley was doing and received a response that all was well. The groomer came out, awkwardly spoke about needing to visit more frequently, and mentioned "he'd never seen this before in his life," and revealed that our puppy burst a blood vessel in his eye severely when getting bathed. I know my dog. He is incredibly smart and expressive. We can tell when he's happy, curious, frustrated, confused - his eyes truly tell a story. I am very confident that my puppy made his discomfort VERY clear and either was neglected or forced into bath time in an uncomfortable manner. D.O.G. should have not proceeded with the grooming portion or have contacted us that something was wrong immediately. D.O.G. took a complete laissez-faire approach to the situation, saying they had no idea how it happened, etc. We went to the vet, who expressed the severity of the situation, and afterward called D.O.G. to ask them to remedy somehow in the spirit of customer service - comp our bill (why did I still have to pay $90 for service that day?) or subsidize our vet bill. The manager almost immediately brushed off the situation, delivering rehearsed language to protect D.O.G., but mentioned she'd run the possibility of comping us or subsidizing the vet bill to the owner, but was skeptical. I emailed twice to follow up and never even received a response from them. We've recommended D.O.G to our friends previously and have been very interactive with their staff and I'm truly shocked that this level of poor customer service. Moreover, my dog was injured severely during a routine grooming and it pains me to think of him being so terrified to the point he basically self-imploded. read more

Absolutely LOVE this place could not recommend enough. Been sending my puppy for the past 2 months and truly love it. My puppy is my world and I 1000 % trust them. All of the staff are so sweet and total dog lovers. Facility is spotless. What prompted this review is today I called to see if he's used the bathroom since he seems to not be going as frequently. I love DOG wynwood! I started taking my sheltie puppy when he was 4 months old and he absolutely loves it. He was shy at first at day care but now he absolutely loves it and loves playing with the other dogs. All of the employees are wonderful -- so caring, kind, and attentive to my puppy. I take him here for day care and grooming. The groomer does a fantastic job and makes my sheltie beautiful every time! They are very careful and do a wonderful clean trim. I've had a great experience taking my puppy here and don't take him anywhere else for grooming because I trust them and they take great care of him every time. I also love how they post videos of the dogs playing on the Instagram story! It's so cute to see my pup having a great time with his buddies!! read more

I took both of my dogs to the Wynwood location. We were told they would be in good hands and well taken care of. My dogs now have a fear of other dogs and when I picked them they had to be treated for Kennel cough. They did not eat well and it took me weeks to get them back to normal health. IN addition I paid a huge amount of money for crappy service. I would call to check on my dogs and the front desk person was extremely nasty and rude. i even complained to the owners and manager via email, and spoke to her several times and she completely did not care. I had to deal with this most rude people for over a week until I could collect my dogs that I was so worried to the point I almost cancelled my entire family trip. I was so disgusted by the way they treated my poor dogs that I would ask for photos and after all the grief they still ad the nerve to tell me I needed to pay for photos of my dogs!!!!!!! My dogs would be in play time and literally hide because they felt so overwhelmed with the amount of dogs in the play space - they must have had at least 40 dogs. The dogs can be seen in the play area and when I looked at the dogs running around they were there without any supervision. When i complained to the attended at the front she said whats the big deal he must have gone on a break he will be right back. Really!!!!! I said is that the service people pay for - is this how you care for the pets? I would not recommend this location or facility to anyone who cares about a safe space for their pet. They should not be in business. Too bad I cant give them a big fat ZERO on their review. read more

I have taken my dogs to this location since DOG OM closed. I had to stop taking one of them because there's no open area and he just panicked. For about a year I've drop my other dog every Wednesday and Saturday and never until today I was told that without a reservation I can't get a spot. Even if that's correct, as a loyal customer I was never reminded about it. The problem is how the attendant addressed it. She extremely rude and her lack of empathy to the fact that my dog has anxiety, specially adapting to news spaces. My dog fairly small and she didn't try to accommodate her. She also blame it on me for not following a process that I was never reminded about. I think the needs of the dogs are first and if I can drive back and forward twice a week for them to make money of taking my dog, she could at least try to find a solution. read more

I started taking my dog here to work on his socialization. The positives are he has become much more confident and social with other dogs which is great. The downsides though are he seems like he hasn't had water all day when I bring him home which concerns me. Additionally, he was just diagnosed with Giardia and as he's a lapdog without exposure to other dogs otherwise the only place he could have picked it up was here. I also understand that their business is thriving and they have more than they can keep up with, but I do wish they better communicated their rates increase rather than finding out on my credit card bill. read more

If I could give this business 0 stars I would. I am not one to complain and I hate being this person, but I need to share the experience we had today to hopefully prevent it from happening to any of you all... I have taken bear to get groomed at D.O.G. Wynwood since he was a puppy. It's about 45 minutes away from us, but I didn't mind the drive to make sure Bear was getting the best service. We formerly went to groomer Laura, who was absolutely amazing. Recently, she moved away and no longer works there. After a few months of searching for good groomers in south Florida and not having any luck, D.O.G. Wynwood announced that they were fully back up and running for grooming. I called and asked if the groomer was experienced in doodles, they reassured me that she was excellent with doodles and they would take great care of Bear. He had an 11 a.m. appointment this morning, when I dropped him off I spoke with the groomer, Evelyn, and showed her pictures of his last groom by Laura. She told me it would take 2-3 hours because she likes to take her time. I said I understood and waited for him. After 3 hours I called to see if he was done and I was told they are running behind and that he will be done in an hour. I waited another hour and called again, they said she needed another hour. At this point I started to get very concerned and worried. I was told 2-3 hours and now it had been 5 hours. At this point I expressed my concerns and frustrations with the manager over the phone and decided to go inside to speak with her in person and to check on Bear to see if he was ok. I spoke with the manager in person and she then explained to me that Bear had been difficult on the table and they kept having to take breaks and bring him outside to play to try to calm him down. She also informed me that he had matting throughout his entire body and needed to be shaved. At no point was any of this communicated to me on the phone. I could see bear on the table through the window in the lobby and the groomer was shaving him (about half of his body) when he had now been there for almost 6 hours. Bears hair was long but by no means was there matting everywhere. I brushed him out this morning fully and there were only some matts around his harness. The manager tried telling me that I'm not brushing him properly and he's too "crazy" because he's not fixed. I found this very offensive and unprofessional. They also failed to communicate with me clearly throughout the entire day. If they had told me what was going on, it would have made this situation a lot better. When Bear was finally brought out, he was completely shaved, uneven, and patchy. It looks like it was done in 30 minutes with minimal to no effort. This was absolutely not an experienced doodle groomer. They still proceeded to charge me $68 (which they said was a discount rate) for a horrible job that took 6 hours. When he came out of the grooming room, he drank the entire bowl of water that was in the lobby and when I took him outside he was very dehydrated and went to the bathroom immediately, which shows me that he had not been taken outside or given enough water, although they told me he did. I can not put into words how extremely upset and disappointed I am from this experience. I highly recommend that everyone stays away from this business and avoids putting their dog through the trauma that Bear experienced today. read more

Took my puppy there for boarding and when I returned to pick her up they had trimmed (unevenly..I may add) her back side and legs which they didn't tell me they just said she was getting matted.. they also told me they had a little problem with her sitting in her pee and poop in her small room.. Ummm.. she's a puppy.. she needed to be taken out every 3 hours. Do not send your puppy here they obviously do not want to go the extra mile for them to make sure they get what they need and now I'm reading from other reviews no one stays overnight with them which I was told differently but it makes sense that's why my puppy had to pee etc. in her room and then sit in it until someone showed up to relieve her.
