They always do an amazing job. My little guy loves going to Kool & Kute. Is always excited when we get there and is so happy too when i pick him up.

I don't do many reviews (as you can see) but after taking Bachelor to Kool & Kute for 10 years now, I decided to celebrate the anniversary with some respect for Iliana who's been making him look like a dapper little fella for many of those years. K&K is great. Everyone is always super friendly and accommodating. Iliana is amazing. She always takes great care of Bachelor, makes him look great, is very consistent, and always goes above and beyond. Thank you! From Bachelor's Dad

I can say I am a regular customer at this place. I come every two weeks. I think they're amazing with my little George. I totally recommend it. Left some pics of him so you guys can see it too.

Needing a dog groomer in the area, I followed one of the recommendations on the Brickell Living FaceBook page and took my old boy, Toby, to Kool & Kute. He had only gotten his hair cut once during COVID so it was long overdue. I called previously to make an appointment for early in the morning on a day I was working from home so I could simply walk over, drop him off and pick him up. When I got there, we went over my dog's age (17) and his health conditions (congestive heart failure, renal failure and in a diuretic, cataracts in eyes) since he would be around other dogs and maybe in a cage. They told me they would take the grooming process slower with him to make sure he was comfortable and doesn't have any adverse side effects from his health condition. Throughout the work day, the called me twice to update me on the progress of cutting his mats, things they discovered and had to be more delicate with (moles on his back), which slowed down the process. A four hour appointment turned into a roughly 6 hour appointment as a result of their careful measures. It was so worth it in the end and I can't say enough about the appreciation I have for the staff at Kool & Kute for being so diligent. He looks great and came home safe-- thank you so much! If you're looking for a groomer in the Brickell Bay area, give them a try. I thought the prices ($65 plus tip) were excellent for the quality of work and care they took throughout the process.

Amazing EXPERIENCE these people are VERY professional and LOVING. Instead of taking your dog to the horrible and super unprofessional people at DOGTOWN bring your pet here to KOOL & KUTE my dog already LOVES THEM

If you live in Brickell, this is the go-to pet groomer!! They do an amazing job on my Havanese dog with sensitive skin. Her hair always comes out looking nice and not a dramatic or unexpected chop. And the salon is always available for appointments when I request. We love this place!!

My dog had perfect fluffy hair before I took him to this place. He's supposed to get medium hair cut and when I was picking him up and I saw my dog ...it was terrifying. They literally cut everything off. They said he had some knots but they didn't call me to ask my permission to cut his hair. He was completely bald! Don't take your dog to this place if you don't want to get result like this!!

I'm so angry with this groomer!! Do not take your dogs here!! My second visit there they shaved my HUSKY WITH OUT MY PERMISSION!! I've had my husky for 5 years and I've never ONCE shaved him. Then they tried to blame it on me "miscommunicating". They tried to say I asked for both of my dogs to get a sanitary shave (which I DID NOT) and even if I did - a sanitary shave is ONLY IN THE SANITARY AREA. They shaved all over my husky's body!!! I was furious!!! my Pomeranian gets a lion shave. I've never touched my husky's coat nor have I EVER implied I wanted him trimmed to anyone. He's never even had a sanitary trim or needed one. My dog looks ridiculous but I'm more concerned for his undercoat being damaged. You never shave a husky. Their fur doesn't grow back the same and it messes up the regulation of their body temperature.

Hello, I booked a full wash, nail trim, ear clean and nail clip. I was very happy with all the results except the grooming done under Wolf's tail and stomach area. It is cut unequally and looks confusing. As much as I know huskies are not supposed to be groomed so I even wrote it down for them on the paper I signed.

THEY BROKE MY DOG'S LEG!!! AND THE OWNER SHOWS 0 REMORSE - DO NOT GO!!!! I took my 3 lb 7 month old teacup Pomeranian puppy, Kilo, is for a basic grooming appointment on August 19 2019. About 20 minutes later I got a call from Kool and Kute, telling me the groomer has dropped my puppy and that they didn't know if her leg was broken. I raced to the place to pick her up and when the owner, Rossmely Delgado, came out she was immediately defensive. I would think the first thing she says would be "I'm sorry" or some sort of apology or sign of remorse.... this was not the case. Rossmely Delgado immediately started saying how it wasn't their fault and told us that "we could just see the video" (which shows one of her staff dropping my puppy while she was looking away. The video also showed that the staff was not following proper safety procedures that resulted in the fall. And my was also crying loudly and uncontrollably while she was being handled before the fall and I have no idea why.) My friend was a little upset and when expressing his disappointment, the owner, Rossmely Delgado, maintained a smirk on her face the whole time. We later met another person whose dog was dropped by Kool and Kute as well. The dog's owner didn't know her dog was dropped until she took him into the vet after noticing that her French bulldog was exhibiting cognitive problems. The vet informed her that he must have been dropped from a high place. The owner said that she informed Rossmely Delgado but she adamantly denied taking any sort of responsibility. We're upset and heartbroken about what has happened to our little girl, but we understand that accidents happen. However, this incident could have been avoided if Rossmely Delgado implemented effective safety protocols onto her staff. It wasn't her staff's fault - it was her's. And she not only TRIED to deny full responsibility, but she didn't apologize until while we were leaving the store, she was smirking the whole time of the conversation and most importantly she showed NO remorse. OWNERS BEWARE

THEY ABUSE ANIMALS! OWNERS BEWARE I used Kool and Kute to groom my two Persian cats- winter and bear. Every time there seems to be an issue whether it's the wrong haircut, the wrong scheduling, or pickup. However, this time was worse- Winter was picked up by kool and kute for a normal bath and haircut, first of all the lady was 30 minutes late to pick her up, I explained her multiple times to do a COMPLETE shave without any feet or tail details. Winter arrived home 4 hours later and of course she was not completely shaved and had feet detail with a tail detail left. Then I noticed that her eyes were completely different sizes, her pupil on the left wasn't dilating or constricting to light. I immediately freaked out and called KOOL AND KUTE, nobody spoke English and kept saying "I have a video, I have a video!" They also placed some random expired eye protectant they told me. I rushed winter to the ER and there they did a fluorescein test which resulted positive for a severe acute corneal abrasion meaning she got it within the last few hours. She had pus and extreme erythema. It seems that they accidently stabbed her eye or scratched her during grooming. I preceded to text the groomer and asked them to have the owner call me- they never called. I eventually called the groomer this morning and spoke with the owner, Rossmely Delgado who was immediately defensive- you would think the first thing she says would be "I'm sorry" or some sort of apology or sign of remorse to have caused my cat this pain.... this was not the case. Rossmely Delgado immediately started saying how it wasn't their fault and told me I could come and see a video of her eyes being inflamed, I asked if this was before or after grooming and she said after. I was like EXACTLY after the grooming you noticed it, she was extremely unprofessional, stated that my husband and I are difficult clients. No apology, no remorse, no professionalism. She refused to send me the video and hung up on me. This isn't the first time we noticed issues- One time my other Persian cat Bear arrived home after his grooming with a 5cm laceration on his left hind leg, They cut him during his appointment severely- My husband and I are both physicians and were able to suture him at home. Kool and Kute stated that they didn't cut bear and that must've happened after he got home. We are extremely sad and hurt that our cat is in so much pain due to Kool and Kute unsafe environment. They are NOT careful and do not treat animals with respect. They are extremely unprofessional and Rossmely Delgado has no respect- she is unwilling to take any accountability for her employees actions. I have contacted the Miami police and notified my lawyer, I will be pressing charges against this place. IT NEEDS TO BE SHUT DOWN. DO not take your pets here.

They destroyed my dog after boarding him for an entire day he came home with fleas and I had to then take him to another place to get this horrendous haircut just to get the fleas off of him that he had contracted from this very poorly ran establishment

I love this place! They are professional and treat my dog with a lot of kindness. My dog is a Bichon Frise so his grooming is very demanding, here they will do it on point (please look at the pics).

They explained that the dogs play all day, have activities, are separated by temperament, and that puppies are carefully monitored. This gave me peace of mind since I had concerns about his joints, breaks, and being around larger dogs since he's just a baby. When I dropped him off, the man at the desk was also professional and explained that Murphy would receive a temperament assessment around lunchtime, and I'd get a call afterward with an update. He said I could either pick Murphy up then or leave him longer depending on how things went. Unfortunately, I never received a call or text. When I finished work and called them, the woman who answered was short and unenthusiastic -- she simply said, "Oh yeah, we have Murphy. He's in with the dogs, he's fine." Her tone left me uneasy. When I arrived, I found Murphy sitting off to the side in the large dog area, panting and looking unhappy. The dogs in the group were very large, and one was jumping excessively on top of other dogs (I'm talking like a kangaroo. 6ft in the air. The dog should be named jelly bean). Murphy, normally playful and confident, seemed timid and off. To make things worse, he was completely soaked -- his belly, legs, tail, everything. The floor of the play area was covered in large puddles of liquid, and while the staff member tried to tell me it was just "water from the hose," it was clearly urine. Once home, it was undeniable from the smell that he had been sitting and lying in urine (possibly mixed with feces). I was told dogs are only walked once a day and use a grass area outside. From what I saw, the indoor space has no toys or stimulation, and the floors are left wet with urine throughout the day. This means the dogs are essentially playing and laying in filth for hours. I left with Murphy timid, drenched in urine, and completely unlike his normal happy self. When I raised concerns, I was met with a dismissive response rather than care or reassurance. While I was in the lobby, I actually asked other people dropping off their dogs if they would recommend this place, since I was so concerned. To my surprise, they said they would. So perhaps some dogs are less sensitive to the environment, need less enrichment, or hygiene isn't as much of a concern to their owners. It's possible I caught the facility on a bad day. I am grateful this was a free trial because I would not have paid for such substandard care. Unfortunately, based on this experience, I will not be bringing Murphy back. I sincerely hope the facility improves its sanitation, communication, and oversight, because the way the dogs are kept now is unacceptable. - I felt providing an update on this review is important for anyone considering bringing their pup to DogTown. After I picked Murphy up from daycare and wrote my initial review, he slept for hours and hours. When he finally woke up, he had developed a severe limp in his front leg. The limp worsened, and he ended up at the vet today. Thankfully, there are no broken bones, but the vet believes it's either a soft tissue injury or a hairline fracture. This almost certainly came from the rough play that's allowed at Dog Town, as Murphy had no issues prior and had just been cleared at the vet the week before during routine vaccines. My poor 5-month-old puppy is now on pain medication and sedation so we can keep him practically on bed rest while we hope his injury heals on its own. The vet also noticed a growth on his lip, which is canine papilloma virus. While I can't say with 100% certainty that it came from here, research shows it's commonly spread in dog daycare and boarding facilities, and the timing makes it very possible. With both of these things, I truly wish I could rate this place negative five stars.

On one stay, my dog was actually bitten by another dog. The only thing they offered was a 10% discount, which barely touched my $800 bill. It didn't feel like they took the situation seriously at all. 2. They also signed me up for their membership to give me some small perk, and when I tried canceling it a month later, it turned into a whole ordeal. I had to reach out multiple times just to get it taken care of, which was ridiculous. 3. And then recently, I booked a short stay on a Monday and wasn't told it was non-refundable. When I asked for a refund two days later, the owner wouldn't give it and only offered credit. I explained that I've already had several issues with them, but it didn't seem to matter. The lack of transparency was on their end, yet I was the one stuck with the loss. At this point, I honestly regret ever bringing my dogs here. The owners seem more interested in sticking to their policies than actually listening to customers or owning up to their mistakes.
