Honestly I hate what you did to my beautiful dog. Why would go chop off her beautiful long ears hair??????? It does not make any sense. I told the lady at the front desk what to do and you both did not communicate with each other to make sure the haircut was what I wanted. Even if she did not communicate with you, what made you think I wanted to eliminate her beautiful long pigtails which took me YEARS to grow???????? I should have been sincere once a picked her up and refused to pay for the service I hated!!!!!! To make things worse after seeing how disappointed I was you had the audacity to offer me a 12% discount? Seriously? I demand you give me a full refund and I'll also make sure to let people know everywhere online what you did. Although my Dog didn't get groomed I'm leaving two stars for the terrible customer service. Walked in with my dog, and the lady at the counter didn't even acknowledge me. I said hello and asked her if they had any time today or tomorrow to trim around my dogs face (he's a shihtzu and I do this in-between groomings bc he's easy to bathe and brush). She replies No, then yells to the lady in the back asking her in Spanish that we don't do this right? And the lady replies in English no you need to do a full bath with nail trim etc. I said thanks anyway but I'll wait for my regular groomer. SO glad I didn't agree to leave my baby here after reading these reviews. Blonde Lady at the front desk, it wouldn't hurt to greet your customers instead of being on your phone. read more

I am extremely satisfied with the service, and glad my wife and I stumbled into Flores :-) .... And so is Avicii (our precious Shih tzu puppy). Let me start off that my wife and I were completely hesitant about taking him to any groomer, after we had a terrible experience @ Le Chien. Simply terrible. After trauma to out puppy (for some "odd reason"... The nails in the front paws were not growing) and our wallets; we were even considering grooming him ourselves. We took the chance and decided to test Flores... We started off by calling for an appointment; the lady over the phone was extremely well mannered and pleasing. It did not impress us at all, because that does not necessarily mean anything, but it gave me the impression that at least, we were dealing with amicable people. We walked Avicii to the groomer, so he would not be that full of energy and bother the professionals. As soon as we walked in, we were greeted by a very nice lady. I mean... Extremely nice. Kind of those people, that whoever was born before 1980 dealt with; and basically don't exist anymore. I went off about my bad experience with Le Chien; and she was so assertive, that even went as far to defend their case. Right then I knew that I was dealing with a good hearted person. The lady told us that since Avicii was a puppy, it would take a little longer than usual, but that at the most it would take 4 hours. Btw, at Le Chien, they had told me 3 hours, which turned to 4.5. At exactly 3.5 hours we got a call, telling us he was ready. When I arrived, not only did he look adorable, but he seemed happy. I mean, he did not even dart to the door (a sign he would want to leave). Instead he played with one of the assistants. When it was time to pay the bill; they had given us an estimated minimum price; the total came to the "lowest estimate", so guess what? They earned a tip. To end my new found love for Flores, when we were on the sidewalk waiting for our ride... Avicii wanted to go back in the store...NOW TALK ABOUT CUSTOMER SATISFACTION So yes! 5 stars, Recommended, will go there as long as i possibly can, Good luck Flores, and THANK YOU read more

This is one of these hidden gems in an otherwise questionable area. The local bums could be narcs - they look too clean. Whatever the case the overall look of this business area does not quite invite one to linger, despite new restaurants trying to gain a foothold. So here's Flores pet grooming, wedged between a dentist promising services from white teeth to botox (did you know that worked for teeth??), and some other business I've not quite identified. Flores is a dog-friendly oasis, obviously, with warm and friendly service. It's not always easy to figure out how to groom a Portuguese water dog but owner Carina and her team did it. My dog loves coming here - which indicates that (1) they don't hurt her and (2) they must feed her lots of treats. I know they do at the exit but have never seen any evidence of treats in the back area, so my dog's enthusiasm may seem a bit exaggerated. Maybe she's like most girls and finds a day of haircut, mani/pedi pampering a wonderful part of her life? Anyhow, my dog leaves looking beautiful and knows it, judging by all the prancing. The prices are extremely reasonable, and the owners could not be more accommodating to our work schedule. The best part? The free weekly maintenance where they brush her out in between cuts. That's a really nice service to offer for dogs like mine. read more

I've only been to this groomer once and I am going to keep it that way. My poor peek-a-poo pup left that day with major cuts and scabs from the clippers which makes me so angry because she is a very calm and well behaved dog. On the other hand, my father brings his schnauzers there all the time and they do a pretty good job. I would say that if you decide to take your chances just make sure you ask them to be careful with your doggy. read more

DO NOT TAKE TAKE YOUR PETS HERE! I had been taking my dog there for quite some time I trusted them blindly. So this last time I took my dog only to get a call from Karina which is the owner that she sliced BOTH of dogs ears and she needed stitches! Mistake happen I'm a reasonable person ,dogs move I get it but how do you slice both ears??? Meaning she started the job sliced 1 ear and decided she would leave my dog suffering and finish the haircut so she proceeded to do the other ear, then when she sliced the other ear she had no choice but to call me! Who does this the minute you injure a dog you stop and call the owner you don't proceed with the grooming ! She paid for the vet bill at the least but what choice did she have! She put my dog through pain, suffering and not to mention my dog is 16 years old and cannot be given full anesthesia because she is super old the procedure took longer than expected because the vet had to work around trying to give her the least amount of anesthesia possible !!! Horrible experience will never return will never trust anyone else. She was apologetic which doesn't mean anything to me at this point the apology was a given because she did not want to get in trouble or have a law suit on her hands! Like one of the other reviewers said, "This is one little hidden gem" in the area! The location is kinda sketchy but once you enter the grooming place, you find yourself in a clean, good smellin and friendly enviroment. I'd brought my toy poodle in a couple times for a bath and I was always very pleased. Carina, the groomer, give a call 30 mins prior she finishing so the dog doesn't stay there extra time if it's not needed. I rather pick her up immedialtely after she's done vs leaving her there in a crate, although, it wouldn't be an isssue if you can't pick ur pup right away. Today I went in for a full groom after having the same groomer for 2 years and I was a little nervous of how Kimchii would turn out. When I picked her up, she was perfect!! Carina did exactly as I asked her to! Kimchii's hair was soft and fluffy and the groom was impecable. Can't complain, I was a happy camper! Inside Ears were clean with no hair, bottom of feet were clean and shaved, nails were trimmed nicely and her face was on point. She smelling really good too! Feel confident that this place has reasonable prices and more than anything, that your pup will look fantastic!! :-)) read more

I regret taking my shih tzu for grooming. The groomer Karina injured my dog very badly. I took him to the vet and he told me my dog was chicken on the leash so tight his eyeballs popped out! Thank God he's OK and she refunded me the big vet bill but I will never take my dog to them! If you care for your pet do not take it to them! read more

When my husband and I picked up our yorkie from her grooming appointment, the woman asked what was wrong with her leg. I explained that our yorkie had surgery on the leg several years ago, and occasionally pulls her back leg up when she walks. To be clear-the dog OCCASIONALLY pulls her leg up when she walks. The woman chastised my husband for not mentioning it when he dropped her off. Since we carried our dog out of the shop, we didn't think much of it. When we got her home, she walked with a limp-when she walked at all. She was in so much pain, she avoided walking as much as possible. The vet who said she likely pulled something in her leg while being groomed. She was on medication for a week. My first issue is this: They knew they injured my dog somehow. They should have been honest about that, rather than trying to play it off. Beyond that, this isn't an aggressive or disobedient dog. She's ten years old and she's been groomed regularly her whole life. I am forced to conclude they were being too rough and that's how she was hurt. I WILL NEVER USE THIS GROOMER AGAIN!! read more

These people ares great! My shih tzu always comes out beautiful and smelling lovely. Although, she is normally hesitant to go to the groomers, as soon as we walk in and Carina calls her name, she gets happy and runs towards her. If I can give them no stars, I would. ABSOLUTELY HORRIBLE!!!! took my Shitzu for grooming. Place looks clean, staff is very nice...I left Zooey (my dog) in the morning, when I picked her up in the afternoon, her eyes were red and her right eye specifically was very red. I didn't think much of it, maybe some shampoo. As the day progressed, Zooey's eye got blood shot red. I called the groomers the next morning to ask if anything had happened. Of course, they said "no". Took Zooey to the vet and he told me she had some trauma (can't remember the name) and it was cause by lack of oxygen to her brain. Meaning that they strangled her at the groomers!!!!!! STAY AWAY!!!!!!!! WORST GROOMERS EVER!!!!!! read more

I left my Maltese Maggie on August 25, 2012 for a bath and left instructions for NO HAIRCUT, and I repeated to ensure that everyone understood. When I picked her up, the entire front of her hair was cut off and very jagged. Where I used to put bows in her hair, the hair was left only 3/4 inch long. This is totally unacceptable, so I will not return to a groomer that does exactly what they please without following instructions. Now it will be MONTHS before my dog's hair returns to normal. This was the first time I took my dog there and I was a little scared, I confess, the reviews were mixed about this place, But I must say they, not only were very professional but my dog looks beautiful. The groomer and the lady on the counter were very kind , welcoming and answered patiently all my questions. How I know they treated her well? She's a VERY nervous dog, she's a rescued and doesn't like people that much. When we picked her up she was calmed and comfortable, sitting unleashed and accompanying the groomer while she groomed another dog, that says a lot to me. This is such a magnificent place! I moved to Miami Beach about a year ago and had tried tons of places around the Collins area but none seemed to impress me until I arrived here. Amazing place! My dog adores coming here every month. It is obvious that she is well treated and loved because she almost runs to the back all by herself. The owner and staff are magnificent and always extremely friendly and courteous. Prices are very reasonable and they are always happy to accommodate the client's busy schedule, such as my own. When I first brought her to Flores Grooming my lhasa apso was a complete mess, full of tangles & knots, fleas, ticks, etc. and I was warned that with these severe circumstances there was a chance of some scrapping or rashing. This was something I could completely understand since the blades do need to go under the tangles in order to detach them. However, when I arrived my baby was more beautiful than ever and luckily was without a scratch. I know it must have taken hours to work on her but I was extremely pleased with their services and I know for a fact they always try their best to be as careful as possible because I have probably recommended 5+ friends and they have all had great things to say. They have even began to paint her nails as per my request! Don't even consider a different place, no grooming in the Miami or Beaches area can compare, trust me, I've been there! read more
