I absolutely loved the way my dog was groomed. He is a bichon frise and can get quite difficult when it comes to grooming around his mouth. This was the first time I used Amore and loved it. I will definitely be a regular customer.

Great experience. Very helpful and patient while making an appointment. Very punctual even if it was really early on a Monday. Listen to directions of wants. Did a great job on my doggie. And the tie is the cutest thing ever. Great touch.

worst experience ever the owner tried to lock my dog without supervision while he was trying to take lunch, he knows my dog is old and anxious, he is an irresponsible person, I couldn't believe he is an old experience groomer, besides he is a rude person he mistreated me and my dog, he was so mad that I was afraid of him that's why I remained quiet while he was being rude to my old dog, do yourself a favor don't exposed your dog in this place he is a hypocrite person don't trust on him. read more

I have been using Amore for some time for my fur baby and their prices are steadily going up and quality of service going downhill. Their only good groomer Hilda whom I used to ask for is never available anymore and most likely has left this company. Last week they sent a new groomer and it was clear this groomer did not know how to groom a dog. He took more than an hour to bring him back from the van from simple bath and I was wondering why. He took the money and left and then I noticed that he had cut my dog's nail so bad that he was limping and bleeding all over the carpet and floor. I had to keep in in my lap to put pressure on his feet for a long time to help him relax and had to put a bandage to stop that bleeding. Never again I am going to use their service. Terrible service ! Please stay away from them. read more

I never write reviews but I tried this company today for the first time and I am very upset. My Yorkie Bella was returned to me looking very clean and nice. She had a nice bow, but her hair was pulled very tight and she looked uncomfortable so I decided to loosen it for her and to my surprise I found a severe skin irritation/scrape and bleeding that was being covered up by her bow. I know things can happen but I should of been informed about this when she was done instead of it being covered up. I contacted the owner who then tried to blame it on the fact that I keep her hair up in a bow and it causes this to happen and it was already there and my fault. I have had her for many years and this has never happened. He said I should take her to the vet and let him know the diagnosis and then we could talk. This is not the answer I was looking for when I called to inform him of one of his employees and what had happened, needless to say I will not be using this service in the future. read more

First of all, this small company is attended by the owner and his attention is extremely bad, this person arrives a few minutes before the appointment and when we open the door of the house he says he has time waiting and speaks without courtesy, specifically says that if the dog wants to urinate before getting on the truck he does not allow it because he says he does not walk dogs, gentlemen this company is in bad hands, if the owner treats us badly imagine his dog, think before calling him. the name of the owner is Luis. read more

Gabriella was the nice young lady that arrived at my complex on time and sent me a few text keeping updated on her ETA prior to arriving. I gave her a bit of information on how I would like my little pup to look and what I was looking for in terms of style. If you have a Yorkie, you know their hair grows super fast! I did ask for her to cut him down as low as possible, keeping his face on the rounded side, she did exactly just that. During the appointment, she texted me a photo of a little scab that was on mu pups ear, to make me aware that was already there and not caused by her. I appreciate it that she took the time to do that, and I had already known about the scab. The appointmentby took about an hour and 15 minutes and when she was done, she alerted me via text. Payment was very simple, as they do accept Zelle. I was very pleased with the outcome, and judging from the look and the action of my pup, I knew he felt comfortable with Gabriella. I'll definitely be contacting them again for future appointment., 10 out of 10 I would definitely recommend Dookie's pet grooming.

When we picked him up on Wednesday most of the dry food was still in the bag, neither can was opened and both rawhide and greenie treats were untouched. Dog was starving!!!! I went back to speak to the owner his first response was sometimes dogs don't eat when boarded. I said I understand that but his food wasn't even opened. How do you explain that.? My dog didn't refuse to eat because of separation anxiety, which he doesn't suffers from, or by choice, he simply wasn't fed the food we left him. His next response was it's no big deal, he was only here for 2 days, nothing is going to happen to him if he doesn't eat for 2 days. Yeah that was his response verbatim WTF??? What if I'd left him there a week? We had some other words which proved to me he doesn't know how to treat customers and much less the pets he's supposed to provide care for. He is incompetent, arrogant and unapologetic, I wouldn't trust your pets with this establishment. If he would have told me that what happened was unacceptable and he would speak with his staff about it not happening again. I would have left it alone. But this guy really doesn't give a crap.

Overall used caring hands, petting, and a nice tone. I overheard a different situation towards another pet who was in distress. The staff member did not use a calming voice or reassuring tone towards the very clearly desperate dog. However, I was not present in the room, and therefore cannot speak to the level of distress the staff member herself might have been experiencing, or the handling of the animal.

Recently, one of my pups was experiencing bloody diarrhea and vomiting. Despite being fully booked, they were kind enough to squeeze me in. After receiving an IV injection and being prescribed two medications along with a food additive, my dog showed immediate improvement. What I truly appreciate is that they don't try to upsell or recommend unnecessary treatments--they genuinely care about your pet's well-being. I highly recommend this place. But today, I was deeply disappointed by how my sick dog and I were treated. I took my dog Hunter with severe diarrhea and despite the urgency and the decades of loyalty I've shown, I was told they wouldn't see him because they "don't take emergencies." There was no effort to assess the situation, no compassion, and just a cold referral elsewhere. I'm sure it didn't go past beyond the reception desk, because I wasn't able to talk to any vet, but it was still disappointing in a moment of stress and worry. I wasn't asking for special treatment--I was asking for help from a place I thought cared about its patients. I understand policies and limitations, but to turn away a sick animal, who is already there, especially one they've treated for years, is unacceptable. Emergencies don't happen on a schedule. The lack of empathy and unwillingness to even try to help was shocking. Over the last 20 years, we've trusted them with the care of every animal we've had--spending THOUSANDS of dollars on routine visits, medications, surgeries, and treatments. We never hesitated because we believed they truly cared. After two decades, I will no longer be bringing my three pups here. They've never had a problem taking my money but if you're looking for a place that will be there when it really matters--this isn't it.

AMAZING! Prior to trying them out I was driving almost an hr to and from with traffic to a location at the Gables. They are amazing as well so it was very hard to find a pet groomer to top the job they did. The drive and long hrs for my dog at the groomers was overwhelming so I tried two mobile pet groomers prior to using Amore Pet Grooming, and they basically did the job of just bathing her. Getting the traditional French Poodle haircut was never even close to it. Not to mention that they didn't look happy or good with animals so it always left me worried. Until I finally tried out Amore thanks to my cousin who has been a client of theirs. This would be my third time and I have to say Martha was AMAZING. Perfectly groomed and very patient with my anxious poodle. HIGHLY RECOMMEND Amore and Martha. Not to say the previous girl wasn't good because she was.
