I have gone to two other vet clinics before with two other dogs I have had, and E&L surpasses them both. Lynet at front reception is absolutely awesome. She's extremely attentive and loving with my dog and every other animal that I have seen go in the clinic. Dr. Rodriguez has been very knowledgeable, caring, and attentive with my pup. At just 11 weeks my pup came down with an ear infection. With Dr. Rodriguez's help, she was cured in just 3 days. I look forward to bringing Jelly to E&L because I know she's in excellent hands. I also love that both Dr. Rodriguez and Lynet also have French Bulldogs of their own so they are very familiar with the breed - a huge plus for me!

The poodles recieved full grooming and my dachshund a bath, ear cleaning and nails. Problem #1: they cut my dachshund's nail too short that she was bleeding. Ok, i understand this happens, but do something about it and advise the owner. I didnt notice until i was home that my car and arms were full of blood and she was limping. I couldn't take her back because they were already closed and my priority was to stop the bleeding. The cut was so deep that the vein was exposed and it took several hours to fully make it stop. Problem #2: one of my poodles got her fur trimmed very poorly. And she had curls folding into her eye (which wasn't the case prior, so I'm not sure what was done here). The poor pup could barely keep her eye opened. We had to take her to another groomer a day later to fix the haircut around her eyes. Problem #3 and the reason I will never go back: After I took care of my dachshund, i notcied that something was wrong with with my other poodle because he wasnt being playful and he seemed to be hurting. When i noticed he had scrapes and cuts under his jaw and on one of his legs. The deepest cut was the one below his jaw - picture attached. I had to take him to the vet for the cut below the jaw where i had to get a disinfecting spray and an antibiotic ointment. The most upsetting part of this, aside from my pup being in pain, was that Cutie Paws never advised or acknowledged that this was done to my dog. When we called on Tuesday (because they're closed on Sundays and Mondays) they said that it didnt happen there and that they were sorry. First of all if it didnt happen there, then why are you sorry? And second you can clearly tell that the cuts were done by a trimmer. We are so disappointed with this place and do not recommend anyone to take their pups to this place to get groomed. I've trusted them with my pups for so long it was heartbreaking to see how horrible they treated my babies. Never again.

I was told it would take about 1-2 hours, so I planned my day around that. After waiting the full time, I had to call them because no one contacted me, only to be told I'd need to wait another hour on top of what I was originally told. The lack of communication and misleading time estimate was frustrating and unprofessional. The bigger issues came after. Shortly after the visit, my dog developed kennel cough and was sick for nearly three weeks -- coughing, uncomfortable, and clearly miserable. She had not been around other dogs prior to this appointment. We also noticed immediate coat damage. Her fur texture changed completely -- it became rough, wiry, and dry instead of soft like it had always been. The coat was also discolored only at the tips while the roots remained normal, which points to product or heat damage during grooming. This was not a gradual genetic change; it happened right after her appointment. So in one visit we experienced: * Poor communication and inaccurate timing * A dog that became sick * Visible coat damage that will take months to grow out We trusted this place with our dog's health and deeply regret it. To make it right you would need to refund me that money that you overcharged me and not DEMAND that it be applied to a service I was not intending to re-book. In addition, the dog's ear was not "nicked", it was SLICED and the vet was unable to rectify the situation without anesthesia due to the pain my dog had when trying to remove the hair from the laceration. I understand you trying to minimize this to not look bad to other dog owners, but in my 30 years of owning dogs and bringing them to groomers, this has NEVER happened to me and I have never been robbed of my money like this.
