Magnificent! Everything we ate was superb!! Catfish, shrimp, oysters, crawfish etouffee, fried okra, sweet potato fries, beignets! Everything was spot on!

Been visiting The Lost Cajun for over a decade now, and the Frisco location does a great job upholding their image. They've got quite a diverse menu, so you'll find something for everyone! Staff were some of the friendliest I have ever had the pleasure of talking with. Definitely a must-eat next time you're in town, and despite the drive, I will definitely be making a special trip just for this food and staff sometime in the near future :)

Here's a quick round-up of our experience: We ordered Gumbo & Cajun Trio which included Seafood gumbo, Chicken and sausage gumbo, and Jambalaya. It was a great choice as it allowed us to sample three different typical dishes at once. We also had the Fish po boy. Tasty and filling with the flavor showing that great attention to detail in making it truly authentic was made. The standouts were definitely the Jambalaya and the Po boy. Both the dishes were nicely balanced in flavor, having that authentic Cajun taste that's hard to replicate outside Louisiana. The Beignets were served in portions of either 1 or 3, which seemed odd at first but proved wise as they were very rich. Save room for the beignets because they are incredible, covered in powdered sugar, hot, and crispy. The service was top notch.

Awesome Cajun/creole place in Frisco! My wife and I walked around the entire town to see all the food options, and I am glad we decided on this place. Super friendly staff and there's a good amount of seats inside and out. I got the Cajun trio since I couldn't decide on just one flavor. I got the Jambalaya, crawfish etouffee and seafood gumbo, and all 3 were really fresh and packed with flavor! Will definitely come back again the next time I am in town!

This spot immediately caught our eye on a cold winter day because there's nothing better to warm the soul than a heaping portion of Gumbo. The spice level was mild enough that adding some house hot sauce and swamp salt helped heat things up. The jambalaya was flavorful and plentiful. Our favorite part was the beignet. They were clearly freshly made and we made a mess of ourselves with the powdered sugar. The staff was kind and the service was prompt. We really enjoyed the overall experience. Note - seating is limited and may not accommodate large groups, but they do have the option to buy their Gumbo by the gallon to bring home!

I have been dreaming of revisiting this restaurant ever since the first time stopping in - 14 years later and The Lost Cajun lived up to every recommendation I have given folks. Food is incredible, hot, flavorful, and exactly what we needed on this cool day. Please do yourself a favor and give this place a shot if you are in the Frisco area.

Best Cajun food in the west! I stop by on a ski trip at least twice a year to get my Cajun fix. I also buy the Cajun seasoning that they sell. Finally, don't forget to try the delicioubeignets!

Gumbo sampler, all were tasty!

The beignets here are the best we have ever tried! They are huge, fluffy, and just right! If debating on chocolate or honey for the sauce, go with the chocolate! Also the little French bread slices that goes with the gumbos was so divine! Wish they gave more of it though!

Shrimp po boy was so sad. Small shrimp and not a lot of it. The ratio was so sad. I would avoid this place

Since I'd parked at Lions Head, before I returned to Denver, I considered the Vail Chophouse, as their menu looked delicious, however when I went inside, the live music was so loud - even with my noise-canceling headphones still in- that I still couldn't hear, and knew I'd blow out my ear drums. Enter: Montauk Seafood Grill, the perfect antidote, with an equally appealing menu, and a much more serene ambiance. :-) Given I was famished, I asked my wonderful server, Brenn, for recommendations, and she was - hands down - one of the best servers I've had, in a long time. She was friendly, attentive, honest, and an all around delight. I started by asking her suggestion, as to if I should order the "Blood Moon" or "Happy Coconut" mocktail, and she recommended the Blood Moon, which was delicious! I love Blood Orange, and it had the perfect combination of mint, to be both sweet & sour. I needed a mocktail, given I was driving back to Denver, after dinner. She then brought me delicious Rosemary Sourdough and Citrus Butter, as a starter, which was fantastic, especially given I needed all the carbs, from skipping lunch, riding so much, and from fasting the night before, for a prior medical appointment, that morning, in Denver, hence my late start, snowboarding. Then I ordered - and loved - the Point Reyes Blue Cheese Crusted Filet Mignon, medium rare, with the most delicious asparagus I've ever had, and I was grateful that they could make my truffle potatoes, whipped, instead of hash brown style. I ended my delicious dinner with a cappuccino, for the drive home. Perfection!
