    Red drink I guess

Good experience From the time we entered in the restaurant to the end. Welcoming atmosphere . Service was so good ,was checked on more than 4 times to see if we are doing ok or if we need anything. Ordered fish n chip from kids menu and regular menu plus burrito bowl and drinks All were phenomenal. Best restaurant to visit if you are in Cavendish and care for both food and service . Thank you !

My family stayed next door at the Shining Waters Inn and we thought we'd check this place out. They serve solid, unpretentious food. The seafood chowder may have been the best I've ever had. Service was friendly but a bit slow because they were packed, so we didn't mind.

What a great find! We joined the waitlist upon arrival, but were informed that a large party had just been seated, so there would be a longer wait for food. I appreciated the heads-up and decided to wait. I'm so glad we did. We ordered two types of mussels, crab cakes, truffle fries, and a Caesar salad. Everything was excellent, and the service was top-notch. The drinks were great, too!

    Fish tacos and homemade fries.

Convenient hours, great food and service. We ate there several times but I loved their fish tacos best!

Huge fish pieces! Best I've ever had!

Best fish & chips I've ever had. Delicious calamari. I even liked the buffalo cauliflower, and I'm not usually a fan of buffalo sauce. Really great atmosphere. Friendly staff. Two pro tips: (1) Plan extra time. My only "complaint" is the service was so slow that we didn't have enough time to do all we'd planned during our short visit to PEI, but I'm not willing to ding the 5-star rating because everything else was awesome. (2) If you get the fish & chips, save yourself $9 and just get one piece of fish (or share a two piece entree). The fish portions are huge--I would've been fine with just one piece instead two. (If you're grateful for this tip, send me a buck via Venmo: @R-P-2009)

Visiting from Ottawa, we were looking for the best stop for some fish and chips. We ordered mussels, fish tacos, fish and chips and seafood chowder, and everything was amazing. No notes. Best seafood meal our family has ever had. Excellent service, prices were more than fair -- we don't feel the need to eat anywhere else for our whole trip on the island.

The food was terrible and most likely frozen beforehand. The staff were unfriendly and the prices…read morewere high for such small portions/servings. The place was kind of depressing it was empty and staff were on their phones the whole time. Multiple people came in and left because of the ridiculous prices. The staff weren't doing their jobs as they were sit around and not doing anything while on their phones. Overall do NOT come to this restaurant it was my worst part of my trip to Canada.

Stopped for lunch here at the Cavendish Boardwalk after seeing the AoGG Heritage site. This place…read morewas *hopping* for lunch, which is always a good sign. Our family has to navigate life with a severe nut allergy, so we were impressed when the staff took the time to discuss with us exactly which menu items were made in-house and safe. It's a mom and pop operation, they talked about how hard it was to find consistency and quality from the suppliers during -and after- the pandemic. We were able to find several food options for my son, and for him we ordered fried fish with a side of poutine. He was in heaven. Well, we all were, actually, because the seafood was delish. We even returned later for soft serve ice cream because they guaranteed it was nut-free. My kid has only had ice cream from a commercial restaurant maybe 2 or 3 times in his life, so it was a very rare and welcome treat. We definitely recommend Captain Scott's - both for their food and also for their family's friendliness and service. We love this place. Thank you!
