On the water dining but also has indoor dining area. Casual restaurant with mostly seafood options. Generous lobster rolls and tasty fish and chips. Friendly staff and good service.

food was great, price was alright, but the dish size is big enough to fill you up! service was great too. as for the ambience, it was really nice we were right on the water and they even had blankets for if you get cold. would recommend though there are no reservations so first come first serve!

One of the best lobster rolls I've had!

Fantastic spot for a meal. Lobster roll was absolutely sublime! My wife loved her nachos and the carrot cake was delicious. Our server Sam put the whole experience over the top for my wife and I with her island charm!

View from our outdoor high top table

I enjoyed a lovely dinner as the sun was beginning to set. We were fortunate to score a high top table in the shade and out of the breeze. The chairs included a very low back support which I appreciated. Our waitress promptly brought us water and our drinks. We did not feel hurried, but attended to. My husband enjoyed the crab cakes and I had the Buffalo chicken sandwich. I had a chocolate cheesecake for dessert, which was so rich. I could not finish it. We are staying in a camper, so have a very small fridge. Waitress was kind enough to bring us plastic wrap for the remnants of the cheesecake rather than a large plastic box. All in all, a lovely dinner at a beautiful spot!

    Seafood Linguine was spot on.

The food here is absolutely delicious. And I had the best Moscow Mule ever. Emma H was a fantastic server.

What a wonderful lunch stop! The Eatery sits on the harbor, so we savored our meal with gorgeous views of the water making for a terrific ambience. And it gets better: the food was scrumptious, starting with the fresh mussels cooked in garlic which made a tasty broth. The scallop burger was no less fresh and no less yummy. And they made us a delightful Caesar salad which was plenty enough for two people. Our server couldn't have been friendlier and more efficient, and the prices are right, too. The Eatery is behind the better-known Blue Mussel Cafe, which is also a good restaurant but more expensive and lacks the has the fabulous close-up water views. Count us as fans!

Wonderful food, wonderful presentation! We ordered our food and ended up enjoying the scenery so much we actually took our meals to go so we could just enjoy some drinks. I had the crab dip which was absolutely amazing, my boyfriend isn't big on crab but adored it! He got the mussels which were fabulous as well. I can see this being a regular hangout of ours when we move to the island next year. Would definitely recommend to friends and family!

Roll was bigger than it appears. Took a couple bites before remembering to take pic :)

Only tried this once. It was ok, not not great. Service was good, and of course, the view is amazing. But, overpriced for pub food

Seafood chowder tastes like bisque. Beware: they use shellfish juice and don't mention that on the menu.

Sea Rocket Oyster House was hands down one of the highlights of our trip to Prince Edward Island…read more Not only did they serve the best oysters we had on the island, but every single dish exceeded our expectations. We sat outside on Victoria Row, and there was live music from Always on Stage throughout dinner. It created such a fun atmosphere and made for the perfect summer evening. We took our server Brooke's recommendations and ordered a half dozen raw oysters, the Chickpea Salad, the Baked Oysters 3 Ways (Rockefeller Butter, Champagne Cream, and Miso Aioli), Salmon, Lobster Thermidor, and the Ube Cheesecake for dessert. I'm so glad we trusted her because every dish was absolutely exceptional. Everything was incredibly fresh, perfectly prepared, and packed with flavor. The oysters were the standout of the meal and easily my favorite on PEI. Brooke was wonderful throughout the evening. She was friendly, attentive, and genuinely knowledgeable about the menu, making the entire dining experience even better. From the outstanding food to the excellent service, Sea Rocket absolutely lived up to the hype. Between the incredible food, the lively atmosphere on Victoria Row, and the excellent service, I can't wait to come back the next time I'm in PEI!

I came without a reservation and they were out of tables inside, but the outside dining area was pretty and clean. It was covered by umbrellas and there were heaters placed around. The food came out quickly for how busy it was, and everything was hot and freshly prepared. Some of my friends enjoyed their food, some didn't. We all got gluten free. Two got the chicken sandwich, and one of them liked it. One loved their fish and chips. I wasn't a fan of my lobster roll. The gf buns were Udi's, which are very dry and crumbly. They fall apart if they get squished or pressed, and if they get moist. I do appreciate that they have gf buns, but I wish they were good ones. We all enjoyed the fries. They were careful with cross contamination, and pan fried the fish to make sure it wasn't contaminated with gluten batter. I really liked how clear the menu was with what is and isn't gf. We asked a server if the fish and chips was dairy free, and she said yes. Then a different server ran over and told us it was not. They *can* make it dairy free but since we didn't ask for it, they hadn't. They offered to remake it, but we didn't need it to be, we just needed to know. Parking was a struggle but that's expected, not holding it against the restaurant.

Might be different if it were super busy. Everyone there was uber nice and friendly and had a smile for us. We sat outside - it was a blustery day, and were offered to have more of the clear sheeting pulled down if it was too much. We were protected enough from the wind, so we were good. And let me tell you, best best best clam chowder I have had in years. Diced clams (loaded) potatoes (diced smaller than the clams) celery and spiced perfectly. The liquid was full of flavour, not thick and creamy like you find most places, more soup like and delicious. The garlic toast was good as well. The lemonade was not sickeningly sweet. Perfect 16 oz bowl of chowder and drink to boot.

I ordered the cold lobster roll while my husband had the warm version, and both came with big, fresh pieces of lobster. We also split a cup of the clam and potato chowder, which was perfect for a breezy, cloudy day--rich, hot, and packed with hearty chunks of clam and potato. The service was excellent--friendly and very efficient. Overall, a great spot for a classic coastal meal. Just note that they close for the season on September 21st.
