    Beer!

Clearly you come here for the views! Even when it's raining! Staff is amazing. We just stopped by for some rest and a beer. One question...why is the bar staff pouring soda/pop for servers. Seems like something the wait staff can handle. Giving bar staff more time for bar/drink patrons.

Just moved to Charlottetown and my parents were hanging around a bit and wanted some seafood and we just happened to walk past Peake's Quay and the big patio overlooking the water was perfect for the sunny day. Lots of space here so we were seated right away, was not super busy either. Service was a tad slow and nothing to really write home about but the menu is solid and food was tasty. HUGE drink selection too so something for everyone here. The seafood is fresh and well presented and the Peake's salad that comes with a lot of meals is awesome! It is fresh mix greens with berries, goat cheese, candied pecans, pickled red onions, almonds and a lovely raspberry vinaigrette, not your average side salad indeed! We ordered some local brews and calamari to start, which was flavourful and with a great sauce but these are large guys (I personally prefer the small). My dad enjoyed his fresh "perfeclty salty" oysters and my mom ordered the seafood bake which is a rich creamy white wine sauce with haddock, mussels, salmon, and shrimp with the Peake's salad. I ordered the wharf bandit which is the best of everything, the Peake's salad, a fish cake with aioli, and an awesome piece of fried beer batter fish (WOW the batter was so thick and tasty). We also got an order of fries which were great too, thick and crispy. Overall would definitely hit up Peakes again for the patio scene and some drinks and snacks!

It was okay. I think that it is busy based on location. Service was spotty. Menu was basic and predictable food was okay. it felt like eating at a moxies. Nothing wrong with it but nothing special

Good service and great food. Good live music too! Highly recommend. Mussels as an appetizer were great but try the seafood bruschetta too! Everything was yum!

While in Historic Charlottetown, be sure to visit Peake's Wharf located on the waterfront and has 20 small shops, boutiques, and restaurants including Cows, Crocs, Quayside Boutique, Lobster On The Wharf and Peakes Quay Restaurant & Bar. After taking a walking tour of the waterfront, my buddy and I spent an hour here browsing through the shops. I picked up some shirts at Cows and at the PEI Dirt Shirt Co and snagged some souvenirs at a couple gift shops. We also checked out How Bazaar, which carries some very trendy loud & colorful dresses and accessories at discounted prices. Various boat cruises (June-Sept) depart from Peake's Wharf during the afternoon and evening sailing around the harbour. At night time during the summer months, there are free outdoor concerts on the waterfront. Pay parking lot nearby.

Great view! Their food were reasonably priced. I had their fish tacos, I had both fried and baked. The fried is better but the sauce they used is a bit too spicy for my taste. Their mussels were great and their lobster roll was more bread than lobster. The view of the harbor was the best thing here.

My second time visiting this restaurant. There's an incredible view of the ocean and lots of tourist shops nearby making this a perfect stop on your trip. Great local fish options (which is a given, it's PEI) and an adorable patio. Quick and friendly service and sharable sizes. Please note this is not wheelchair accessible.

Where there with my sister on a cruise we ported there. We stopped by sat upstairs on the patio. We were greeted quickly with big smile, great personality and funny young lady. We had drinks, decided on the oysters. They where great!!! Did not stay longer... But a great place to visit.

Great fresh oysters here! We tried a shot of shine (moonshine) burns like hell going down. Very fun place with fresh seafood.

We had drinks and a quick bite. Not as bad as the single star ratings would suggest. Nice deck to listen to summer concert music.

Entrees (lobster-stuffed sole, seafood linguine, and salmon baklava) were delicious! Special requests (one guest lactose intolerant) cheerily accommodated. Dessert needs to be rethought out. If it's not as good as your mains, just don't serve it. Strawberry shortcake was the worst I've ever had. A stale biscuit with some plain whipped cream and a few slices of fresh strawberries. Awful! Chocolate torte was take-it-or-leave-it. Disappointed that management didn't bother to acknowledge the fact that it was a special occasion dinner, even though they had plenty of advance notice. Chairs not comfortable for dining. View magnificent. Decor awful. Keep the chef... Excellent! Rethink everything else.

There's hardly anything to choose from, and it's very over priced for what you get. My friends got regular sandwiches (turkey sandwiches, BLT) and liver and onions, even though that's not what they wanted, there was just hardly anything else to choose from! I wanted soup but they didn't have it on the menu, it was on a small chalk board that you can't see while you're sitting, I seen it while I was going to the bathroom, so after I ordered I was very disappointed to see they actually did have soup. The only thing I liked about this place was the prices of drinks and how kind our waiter was. If you're looking for a meal, maybe try Frank & Gino's.

No potato filler, real lobster, and delicious, creamy soup. Literally has a tasty seafood morsel in every bite. Hubbies had a decent Chef's Salad and I also had a yummy grilled cheese sandwich on homemade bread. Side Buns were homemade as well but a bit crumbly. Everything was tasty but the stR of the show was definitely the Chowder, can't say enough good things about it! Reasonable price, solid portions. Not fancy but definitely worth a visit.
