    Ice cream sundae

Went on a Monday night so not super busy-- servers were attentive and friendly, and atmosphere was pleasant! The appetizers and sides are what really shined here-- the calamari was delicious, along with the fried artichokes and Caesar salad. I had the chicken Milanese and chose broccolini as my side. The chicken was cooked perfectly and the coating was fried to perfection. The broccoli was to die for. Another member of my party ordered the cauliflower side which was delectable as well. The pasta is where the meal fell slightly short. While cooked well, the pastas could have been done better. The truffle mac n cheese had a great taste, but it was less of a Mac and cheese and more of a thin cream sauce. The voodoo rigatoni vodka sauce was super spicy, but the honey overpowered the other flavors in the sauce, and I wouldn't have guessed it was vodka sauce if it hadn't said it on the menu. We finished off the meal with the Italian ice cream sundae (fried banana, vanilla ice cream, macerated strawberries and hot fudge), which was delicious. The only other negatives were small things-- truffle mac n cheese was supposed to be gemelli pasta but was rigatoni; sundae was supposed to be pistachio ice cream with cherries, also needed to be served in a bigger bowl. Overall, a great meal where the sides and appetizers really shined! I'd definitely recommend coming here and ordering some sides and apps.

Tim and I enjoying the fettuccine and scallops.

We had our first meal at Abbiocco about a month after it opened. Our reservation was not quite ready when we got there early. We sat at the bar. I enjoyed the vibe of the place right away. The bartender was great. It was busy but when you had her attention she was cool with my specific request if a mojito without sweetener. It was perfect. Our table was by the main door. Service was amazing. It would be a place to come for a long lingering meal. We had lots of time (1.5 hrs) to share an order of bruschetta and have our meals before we had to go to the movie. I even squeezed in a quick espresso at the end of the meal. It was an enjoyable place. Next time I will make it the only event of the evening.

Catch of the day. Halibut with fingerlings in a nice sauce.

Great lobster spaghetti in a nice, open but at the same time cozy atmosphere. Service was quick, efficient and friendly.

Sea Rocket Oyster House was hands down one of the highlights of our trip to Prince Edward Island…read more Not only did they serve the best oysters we had on the island, but every single dish exceeded our expectations. We sat outside on Victoria Row, and there was live music from Always on Stage throughout dinner. It created such a fun atmosphere and made for the perfect summer evening. We took our server Brooke's recommendations and ordered a half dozen raw oysters, the Chickpea Salad, the Baked Oysters 3 Ways (Rockefeller Butter, Champagne Cream, and Miso Aioli), Salmon, Lobster Thermidor, and the Ube Cheesecake for dessert. I'm so glad we trusted her because every dish was absolutely exceptional. Everything was incredibly fresh, perfectly prepared, and packed with flavor. The oysters were the standout of the meal and easily my favorite on PEI. Brooke was wonderful throughout the evening. She was friendly, attentive, and genuinely knowledgeable about the menu, making the entire dining experience even better. From the outstanding food to the excellent service, Sea Rocket absolutely lived up to the hype. Between the incredible food, the lively atmosphere on Victoria Row, and the excellent service, I can't wait to come back the next time I'm in PEI!

I came without a reservation and they were out of tables inside, but the outside dining area was pretty and clean. It was covered by umbrellas and there were heaters placed around. The food came out quickly for how busy it was, and everything was hot and freshly prepared. Some of my friends enjoyed their food, some didn't. We all got gluten free. Two got the chicken sandwich, and one of them liked it. One loved their fish and chips. I wasn't a fan of my lobster roll. The gf buns were Udi's, which are very dry and crumbly. They fall apart if they get squished or pressed, and if they get moist. I do appreciate that they have gf buns, but I wish they were good ones. We all enjoyed the fries. They were careful with cross contamination, and pan fried the fish to make sure it wasn't contaminated with gluten batter. I really liked how clear the menu was with what is and isn't gf. We asked a server if the fish and chips was dairy free, and she said yes. Then a different server ran over and told us it was not. They *can* make it dairy free but since we didn't ask for it, they hadn't. They offered to remake it, but we didn't need it to be, we just needed to know. Parking was a struggle but that's expected, not holding it against the restaurant.
