Lobster Mac

We dined here 3/4 nights in PEI. Yep that's right, we came here 3 times! Seriously excellent food. Great seafood selections and super friendly staff. I highly recommend the house mussels. If we are ever in PEI again we will definitely be back.

Seafood chowder...best ever eaten.

Table of 8 stopped randomly after an 11 hour trip from Massachusetts. Servers and staff were very friendly and helpful, especially Mar...et. Every item ordered was exceptional...fish tacos, fish and chips, seafood chowder, lobster mac & cheese...so good. Great dining areas inside or outside. Hope to return before moving on with our vacation.

Red drink I guess

Good experience From the time we entered in the restaurant to the end. Welcoming atmosphere . Service was so good ,was checked on more than 4 times to see if we are doing ok or if we need anything. Ordered fish n chip from kids menu and regular menu plus burrito bowl and drinks All were phenomenal. Best restaurant to visit if you are in Cavendish and care for both food and service . Thank you !

My family stayed next door at the Shining Waters Inn and we thought we'd check this place out. They serve solid, unpretentious food. The seafood chowder may have been the best I've ever had. Service was friendly but a bit slow because they were packed, so we didn't mind.

Mussels!

What a great find! We joined the waitlist upon arrival, but were informed that a large party had just been seated, so there would be a longer wait for food. I appreciated the heads-up and decided to wait. I'm so glad we did. We ordered two types of mussels, crab cakes, truffle fries, and a Caesar salad. Everything was excellent, and the service was top-notch. The drinks were great, too!

Huge fish pieces! Best I've ever had!

Great food, good service - there seems to always be a wait. Good gluten free opinions in a town with few gf choices

Stopped for lunch here at the Cavendish Boardwalk after seeing the AoGG Heritage site. This place…read morewas *hopping* for lunch, which is always a good sign. Our family has to navigate life with a severe nut allergy, so we were impressed when the staff took the time to discuss with us exactly which menu items were made in-house and safe. It's a mom and pop operation, they talked about how hard it was to find consistency and quality from the suppliers during -and after- the pandemic. We were able to find several food options for my son, and for him we ordered fried fish with a side of poutine. He was in heaven. Well, we all were, actually, because the seafood was delish. We even returned later for soft serve ice cream because they guaranteed it was nut-free. My kid has only had ice cream from a commercial restaurant maybe 2 or 3 times in his life, so it was a very rare and welcome treat. We definitely recommend Captain Scott's - both for their food and also for their family's friendliness and service. We love this place. Thank you!

The place was kind of depressing it was empty and staff were on their phones the whole time. Multiple people came in and left because of the ridiculous prices. The staff weren't doing their jobs as they were sit around and not doing anything while on their phones. Overall do NOT come to this restaurant it was my worst part of my trip to Canada.
