Okay, I truly have mixed feelings about this cool adult/kids, Bar/arcade, restaurant/ bar .... So I was at a kids birthday party and at first its cool, cause of the location, the waterfront, the arcade games, the bar, the string of light! Cool right? Well, its cool if you you remember that its also a kid establishment!!! Such a cool spot for adults and drinking that it feels more like an adult hangout spot rather than a "kids" fun spot. Also, the Margarita bar upstairs doesnt help. I noticed how all the adults were at the bar or upstairs and the kids were just like, "more tokens please, and the prizes sucked!" Dont get me wrong this place is very cool, the games and mini bowling are all great!!! I just dont think its for kids if the adults are just going to end up at the bar. Also, because of the layout of the restaurant, a lot of the smaller kids kept walking out of the restaurant/bar and started walking towards the rest of the harbor shops! You definitely cannot be at the bar and have the kids in an open restaurant/bar. The food part, well just eat before you go! Paper thin pizza was definitely not worth it! I probably wont be back for another kids party, but for beer with friends DEFINITELY!!!! Cheers to fun adult spots!

Nice little find within the harbor in Ventura. It was a chilly day, but the sun was out so that was nice however, we did still sit by the outdoor fire table to try and stay warm. It would be better if it was a fire pit versus a fire table, but nonetheless, it was still a nice addition. I had a great kombucha on tap, and the staff was really kind in letting me try a number of different things before I made my decision.

This is a great spot for both adults and kids. The service here is friendly and welcoming, and the food comes out quickly, perfect when you've got hungry kids are just wanting something easy and enjoyable. The food itself is decent and hits a spot for a casual meal. What really makes this place shine is how kid friendly it is. There are tons of video games and arcade games to keep little ones entertained while adults can enjoy the game on the large TVs playing sports and a full bar with plenty of options. And the scenery is the icing on the cake, the harbor views make the whole experience feel extra, relaxing and fun a solid choice for family outings or low-key nights out. Bonus outdoor seating complete with views and fire pit tables.

I love the concept of a place that is family-friendly where people can go grab a drink and food with their family. They have an extensive list of beers to choose from, but I wish there were more options for those of us that don't really drink beer. I ordered a rotating cider which came in a surprisingly large mug! I liked it and drank most of it. My husband ordered a beer flight, and he was happy with his selections. We also had a pizza, and my daughter had a hot dog. The food tasted much better than what I was expecting! The service was good. You can order your drinks and take them with you, but your food will be delivered to your table. The person who took our orders was knowledgeable and answered some questions we had about their menu. The person who brought our food asked if we needed anything else. We spent some time playing on the arcade games, and we particularly enjoyed the virtual reality game. It was a lot of fun, but it did use up most of our points. I appreciated that they also had some free games to play, such as a foosball table. Our family had a wonderful time there and will definitely be returning!

This review is for the bar service bc I didn't try anything else. Overall not a bad vibe for fun parents with kids for a quick stop for a drink and keep the kids busy kind of vibe ! Or even a first date to see how competitive they are kind of day/night . They have a good variety of drinks to try out and the menu doesn't look too bad (note to self: don't eat before trying out a new place lol). I got their Honest Abe rotating cider 5% ABV . I like ciders and this hit the spot. You get a mouth full of its subtle fruity body and ends refreshingly crisp. Service was great and even though it was a bit slow midday (don't judge me :)), they don't act like they don't want to be there ( you know what I mean ) . PS. They have happy hour during the day . There's no "list list" but from what I was told by the nice bartender is as follows as of today: Pint- $1 off 25oz- $1.5 off Stein- $2 off Boot- $2.5 off

We got here late after driving and honestly we didn't know what to expect. It's right in Ventura harbor, close to many ferries and shops. The pizza was excellent! Like I would happily go back. The hot honey pizza was awesome. The beer was great too. I think we only paid 60 dollars or so. So I think it was good value. It looks like a fun place for kids with an arcade. So just an FYI. The staff was friendly and our food and beer was good. We went in the evening and it was nice. Real relaxing. The food was great and overall I'd happily return

Came to try the Loose Cannon last weekend for a quick beer and to watch some of the Dodgers game. This is definitely a great new addition to the Ventura Harbor. Loose Cannon is located inside the old arcade area with an updated arcade. This area is fun for kids to play games and it's nice that Cannon has beer and food. The interior was very spacious and thankfully clean despite holding space with an arcade area. I know this business is new so I hope that they keep up with appearances as it was very nice inside and welcoming. There was also some good space between the gaming area and the main beer bar and high top tables. They had large screens to broadcast the games and while it's too loud inside to really hear the tvs well at least you get a visual and can watch your sports while grabbing a drink. I ordered a beer up at the counter and took it to a low picnic bench. On the bar area they had a few menus showcasing their food and beers on tap. The bartender was friendly but also busy so it was a quick exchange. I didn't mind that. The only reason I docked a star as I personally like to keep my drinking separate from child play areas lol. That's why I'm not a gal you'll catch often drinking beers at arcades, breweries with kids games, and so forth. I get it - parents need an escape and it's convenient for them to be able to eat out and drink while their kids play nearby. Just for me personally I like a bar or beer bar that feels like the adults only 21+ vibe. For that reason this spot won't be on my regular rotation but I can appreciate this spot for what it is. It's a nice new stopping point on the harbor and the vibes were good and I'd definitely come back to try some food and to grab another drink. Probably a spot I'd frequent on a weekday while the kids are at school. Check this spot out for yourself, it's fun and they did a good job conceptualizing this space.

I wanted to stop by for a drink after a solo walk around the harbor and remembered this place had just opened. I was greeted as soon as I walked up to the bar, handed menus and I ordered. The have different sizes of drinks. You can even order your drink in a huge boot glass. I got a Madewest hazy . I did not order food. There are a ton of games to play ! Beautiful view of the harbor . Tons of seating indoor or outdoor. Great customer service ! It was popping when I stopped by on a Saturday .

What a great spot for a family day in the harbor! The food was good, Not toppers but kids were satisfied. The games were not overly priced and the vibe was great for families. I would rate this a 8 on the sensory level. Definitely loud and bright.

Walked in on a Sunday during a crazy event for Halloween at the harbor. It was super busy. The staff is friendly and apologetic for the wait. There are ALOT of machines for your littles to play with so I love the fact that it is family friendly. Public restroom warning-no restrooms inside the place but directly outside which were pretty clean. They do lack the choices for sodas but I'm sure in time that can be fixed. I got the OG smash burger which tasted very home made so I have zero complaints on that. Sadly we ordered the presto pizza and it came out very burnt. Not sure if they were just rushing because it took over 40 min to get this out to us. eh the pizza is a no go for me esp at 22 a piece. I'd come back esp with all the machines they have to entertain the littles.

I love brats and pizza. This place has great representations of both. They have a thin sourdough crust pizzas. The brats are delicious and they have many mustard options. We're here midweek so it's quiet. A good option for families as there are things to engage children. Pricing is reasonable and it's dog friendly.

This is hands-down the BEST pizza in the city. The flavor is unbeatable, the prices are more than fair, and the atmosphere makes you want to stay all night. The staff is friendly, attentive, and clearly passionate about what they do. A must-visit spot -- I'll definitely be back!

The miss working the spot was pretty young , so perhaps lack of experience. I sat at a stool as I wanted to enjoy the vibes . I was never checked in on and I felt as though I was a bother . Drinks are canned . I asked for a glass and was told .. " All we have is plastic" as she walked away. Perhaps she's shy but there needs to be level of proper customer service. They offer Thrifty's icecream and sandwiches from Harbor Mart. The owners are super sweet, I have been following their business for awhile. A bit more energy when tending to customers would be appreciated . This spot has nice games and I love the murals! When I come back , I'll play some of the games and update my review . I really hope service improves.

If you play the other games then they are in a timed basis and you run out much faster. My son who is 11 loves this place. I don't mind it. I think it's cute and give a nice distraction and is a cute little pit stop when downtown or we don't have anything to do. They also have thrifty ice cream and sandwiches and drinks you can order. There is a small arcade area as well. Checking in and getting the shoes was very easy and the staff was courteous. I forgot how flat with no cushion the bowling shoes were. It actually got me a little nostalgic and brought back the memories of when I was in high school and bowling with friends. The lighter weight balls, especially the 8 lbs, had really small finger holes. It's probably made for kids but I'm quite petite and was only able to put about half my fingers in before it felt too tight. At one point the colored lights came on and it seemed more like a dance party. This was at like 3:30 in the afternoon and it lasted about half an hour so I didn't understand the reason for that. The lights actually made me bowl worst because it somehow affected my vision. It does get it a bit hot after a while, with so many people in there it would have been more comfortable if they turn up the air. All in all it was a fun afternoon.
