For four years in a row, we have taken up to 65 eighth graders to Golf N' Stuff, Ventura, for a three hour visit on a Monday afternoon on our way up to the El Capitan Canyon campground. Cool little spot to have some family time especially when we get competitive. There's a lot you can do golfing, bumper boats, go cart racing, arcades, food. We enjoyed it. I do got to say tho, one of the works that was cleaning the restroom didn't look so happy. Especially when a woman asked if she can use the restroom while he was cleaning it. He could've have told her is she can wait a few minutes while he finished. But he stopped what he was doing and let her in which was nice, but while he did that he was kicking the his equipment with frustration and shaking his head. We stopped by Golf n Stuff to kill some time and we had a lot of fun. First we got some cards to play in the arcade. The staff who helped us were kind and helpful. After we won a bunch of tickets we went to the prize section and turned in our tickets for two prizes. Then I got some pizza and drinks for my kids, they said they liked it. We ate outside. The weather was perfect. We decided to go miniature golfing after lunch and got some collectors golf balls. We had a lot of fun on the golf course. Next time we stay longer in Ventura we will come back. This is a great place to hang out. read more

Honestly impressed. The facilities are well kept, games inside (if you like arcades) are pretty current. The mini golf course itself is really well kept. Fresh paint, green grass/turf, everything is clean while walking through the course (they have multiple course that you can choose from). Speaking of which, pricing was really good, we were able to get a round of golf + go karting (which was also well kept) for a good price on a Saturday. Definitely a fun outing. read more

Can't remember the last time I've played mini golf, so when it was suggested I was actually quite excited. When you go through the door you're immediately in the arcade area. It was not as large as I expected but was a decent size and had quite a variety of games. You had to go toward the back to access the outdoor area where the mini golf, bumper cars/boats and go-carts were located. Prices were pretty reasonable, $18 per person for a single round of mini golf, they give you a dollar off if there are at least 4 players so we all paid only $17 each. They also offer passes if you plan to stay longer to do more activities. We had arrived before noon on Sunday so it wasn't that busy, but by the time we finished golfing there was a lot more people. So to avoid the crowds I recommend coming in earlier. Great place for date night, family fun or just hang out with friends. read more

Fun place for all ages! For my recent birthday, my girlfriends wanted to treat me for an outing. I wanted something fun and doable for everyone, and decided to celebrate my birthday with a mini golf. Located off the 101 Highway in Ventura, this place has an assortment of entertainment such as mini golf, arcade games, and small thrill rides. Parking is free and ample in front the building. We did the mini golf which was $18 per person. It came with 18 courses, golf stick, golf ball, pencil, and a score card. You can do the courses at your own pace, and I found one hour was sufficient for a party of 3 to 4 people. The courses are fun with colorful decor and 80s music in the background, which makes it feel like a time capsule on its own. The premise was well kept and all the guests were very courteous. The rides were definitely for young kids and the arcade games were hit and miss. We wish there would be more food and beverage offerings as well Overall, a fun place for people of all ages! read more

This place has been in the exact same location for as long as I can remember like eons and eons ago. I'm so happy to see it's still open and well maintained. The put put golf is nice. They also have go-karts that are super fun to race friends, as well as what looked like bumper cars and bumper water-mobiles. Clean facility and beautiful. Water falls, colorful structures and a big arcade. Please patronize this establishment, keep it open and don't ever change the name. Brings back such great memories and making new ones now! Had my son's bday party here in July. The guy who coordinates the parties was super-helpful and very up front. The staff gave us some space, but was helpful when we needed something. Generally speaking everyone who worked there was helpful and nice, so good job! The golf was what one would expect, and the fact that they have two courses is cool too. What a rip off. They charged a 4 year old as much as an adult because he was 42 inches. 2 inches above their limit of 40 inches. Should be by age, NOT HEIGHT. Also no way to get around with a stroller or for handicap people. I even asked if we could safely put the stroller somewhere safe and the rude lady at the pay window said no. We rode Indy cars, which I didn't like, but my daughter did. We opted to play video games instead of playing golf because it was so expensive. I called ahead of time and asked if they had coupons anywhere. The manager told me the website did, but they did not. It would have been great if he had just said no. At least be honest. I've driven past this place so many times and finally got to stop by with my family today and we had a blast. My brother turned 17 and we decided to try mini golf for the first time and this place was a great spot for a bunch of adults and my brother who have never played. This location has 18 holes on 1 course which will run you $15 a person. There is 2 courses to choice from and they provide you the clubs and balls. The courses were all unique and so much fun. Some were challenging but in a fun way. We loved it. This place also has a driving course we did not try and also a rather large arcade. We were actually pretty impressed by their arcade games and the size, it was very large. A concession stand was as located in the arcade where they had popcorn, other foods, and fountain drinks. If your looking to do something different and fun defiantly keep this place in mind. You will have so much fun. read more

My husband, brother & I decided to check out Golf N Stuff for an afternoon of mini golf. As three adults, we were pretty much the only group there without kids, which was to be expected. This place is pretty cute- the bumper boats look fun! They have an arcade too but we just came to play mini golf. It's $16 per adult/person for golf and their are two courses to choose from. We had a lot of fun on the course, definitely challenging enough and interesting enough for adults but not too hard for kiddos either. One of the holes was closed which was a bummer and they didn't have any of the water features going, which would have made the course even more interesting Anyway, took us maybe a little less than an hour to make our way around the course. Went there on the 16 of July after going to the beach. My son bought 3 rounds of golf but I decided to upgrade us to the 2 hour unlimited pass for all 3 of us for an additional $20 per person ($60 total). At the time of purchase, nothing was said to us about needing to have closed end shoes to enjoy the go carts or bumper boats. It wasn't until we tried riding the go carts (this was the first attraction we attempted to enjoy) that we were informed of this requirement by the attendant at the track. He also informed us that closed end shoes were also needed for the bumper boats. I was disappointed in this but figured I would get a refund for my $60 since we were not going to be able to enjoy these attractions. However when I went back to the cashier she informed me that I would not be able to get a refund even though I was never told about the closed end shoe requirement by her. I looked around at the signs and nothing about needing closed end shoes was posted anywhere that I could see. Needless to say this was a very disappointing experience and I would not recommend going there to anyone because they don't have this posted at the cashier window. The requirement of closed end shoes is posted at the rides, but if your not aware of this information upfront, Golf N Stuff is going to keep your money! Driven past here many times, finally got a chance to check it out. It appears to be one of the only fun things to do in this area, so I decided to give it a try with my girlfriend. Parking lot is huge, so I assume there is a lot of people on weekends. You walk in to a decently sized arcade, but can't shake off the feeling that the entire establishment is aged. I was so surprised that it was $32 for 2 adults to play an 18 hole of mini golf. But I guess it's okay to charge that much for being the only mini golf in the area. The price may have been justified if the courses were good, but these courses were the most blandest of the bland I've ever experienced. They have 2 18 hole golf courses, and we opted for the castle theme over the western theme. I'm not sure what's going on with the western theme, but this castle course was not it. So many of the courses were just flat or just slightly hilly, with a total of 3-4 structures max. Compared to other mini golfing courses, I actually wanted to finish the game ASAP due to how mundane and linear the courses were; no unique courses, only 1 structure tied to Ventura County, with it being the mission, and some of the turf was even messed up. To sum up, the price they charge for mini golf versus the course appearance, maintenance, and structure is not worth it. If you bring little ones here there is a huge discount, but I just can't justify being an adult and coming here to mini golf. With how limited options to have fun are in the area, I really hope this place gets renovated sooner or later. read more

This place is solid! My husband and I came here for date night, and we had a great time! We wanted to do the go karts, but I wasn't wearing closed toed shoes. Warnjng for people coming to wear closed toed shoes or they won't let you drive. We ended up doing a round of mini golf, and we had a blast. The course was very well maintained and each hole was different and varied enough to keep it interesting. We had an issue where one of the tubes ate my ball. We searched and searched but never found my ball. Thankfully, the front desk was very easy to work with, and they just gave me another ball. It was a little busy on the course, since it was Friday night so we had to wait for 1-2 parties to finish before us on the course. However, that's pretty standard at mini golf places. I've been to the mini golf place in the valley and this place was way less crowded, so I was pleasantly surprised. We paid $17 each for a round of golf. It was a great way to pass the time. It took us about an hour to do the course including waiting times for each hole. The arcade looked really fun, but we didn't end up playing any games. We'd love to come back another time with our family. We know they'd love this place. They've hit the perfect balance of updating the facilities while still keeping an old school charm. They have done a great job of giving me a bit of nostalgia with the look and feel of the place while still staying current with the latest technology. read more
