This place is fun. I wish it was bigger but there is literally nothing they can do about that. They have about two basketball games, one VR game, one air hockey game, one punching bag game, two (?) arcade games, a couple claw games, a couple old Atari type games, and maybe 6-8 pinball machines. You add funds digitally onto a card in maybe $5 increments or so. I think we spent 30-60 minutes in here. Really if you're good at pinball you can spend a little longer in here. If you play the other games then they are in a timed basis and you run out much faster. My son who is 11 loves this place. I don't mind it. I think it's cute and give a nice distraction and is a cute little pit stop when downtown or we don't have anything to do. They also have thrifty ice cream and sandwiches and drinks you can order. The staff has always been nice so that helps. It's nice to know you're supporting a friendly local small business.

After a late lunch in Downtown Ventura, I was wandering around and found this newly opened arcade plus bar. This arcade has a retro atmosphere :) At the entrance were two pachinko machines that I used to play with as a child. The arcade had nostalgic games such as pinball, crane games, and air hockey. I love Mario cart. One of the good things is that they sell local food and drinks But all of the local beers are canned beer, about the food, the sandwiches are from Harbor Mart (it should be good, I didn't try but I love sandwiches from Harbor Mart). They have Thrifty ice cream too. It just opened so maybe many things will be added in the future!

Mobys is a fun addition to downtown! We stumbled upon it, while on our way to a coffee shop. Our 4 year old wanted to go so bad so we checked it out to play a game of Mario kart. It is small but mighty! With a fridge of drink choices, it's a fun after dinner place to continue a night out.

Place is friendly, fun date night idea, ice cream parlor, they serve pizza, water, and LOTS of games. I would TOTALLY come back here, love the ambiance.

Omg this is the best place to pinball and arcade in Ventura County. They have pinball mechines that I grew up with in the 90s. Also the associates were the coolest Radest Ever! A special thanks to the associates who are working tonight on 12-14-2024 Colby as well as Kaylee were so helpful in my arcade experience Thanks again Mr Castillo

Not a big place, enough games and drinks to a couple hours. They also have ice cream, so if you need cool off gets some or Adult beverages.

Great Little Spot to run in and play some pinball , grab a beer or some ice cream play some Miss Pac-Man or Pac-Man. I wish the place was a little bigger more games and space!!

Moby's on Main located in downtown Ventura, is a perfect spot for some ice cream and arcade games. Moderately priced with nice variety of games. My Littles enjoyed the Thrifty ice cream. We played a couple of games and this was a nice way to break up our shopping trip. While most of their games do not cater to young ones under 6, they do have a good variety and we were able to have fun (my littles are 3 &5). Will definitely return and next time hope to play one of their pinball machines!

A goofy lil' skeleton guy, sitting at a long table in the middle of Moby's. There is a row of old school pinball machines behind him.

We had a great experience. We did a fundraising even with them for our local school, and Mary is so generous and easy to work with! Moby's is cool. Plain and simple. It's really cool, for everyone. The music was great. The TV's played The Dark Crystal, The Labyrinth, Spongebob, and The Wild Thornberry's. The ice cream and pinball machines are classic, there's a wide variety of drinks, alcoholic and not, and some food (we were too busy having ice cream for dinner to get any, but next time!) The person working the shift was excellent- kind and generous, and having fun while they worked. Great experience! We'll be back for sure!

These guys are the best pinball arcade between LA and Santa Maria. I love their pinball lineup. They're also planning pinball events and socials.

The cleanest and best playing pinball machines you will find most anywhere in So. CA. Well maintained! Even the older titles look like they were just slipped out of their original boxes. The T2 is immaculate. The people are friendly and kind. The ice cream is excellent. Local beers and sandwiches are available in case you work up an appetite playing all those games!

I know they've worked their asses off to get this open. But it lacks. Handful of pinball games. Air hockey table is sharing the same space as that dumb punch strength thing. They have a few claw machines. Most of the games you'll have to get their card to play and only limited are coin operated. They have quite a few tables. They have a counter of thrifty's ice cream as well as select beers in house. This place gets easily overwhelming and packed. It definitely attracts the kids with their lights and prizes and games. I'm hoping for the best for them. The future is bright

I told him "isn't it the price that's marked on there?" And proceeded to point at his sign that basically said he could change the prices at any time without notice. It seems like he goes on eBay and doubles whatever he sees. I get that places need to make a profit but tripling the price from what's on the sticker is a little misleading because you're pretty much running a gamble if it's going to be cheaper online once he looks it up at the register. If he listed a game for $20 and then found it online for $5, would he lower the price? Yeah, I'm not holding my breath.

Would be nice to be able to get a pack or two for retail every now and then. Don't buy here, don't support him. He's not in it for the love of the hobby or community, he's in it for the money.

There is a small arcade area as well. Checking in and getting the shoes was very easy and the staff was courteous. I forgot how flat with no cushion the bowling shoes were. It actually got me a little nostalgic and brought back the memories of when I was in high school and bowling with friends. The lighter weight balls, especially the 8 lbs, had really small finger holes. It's probably made for kids but I'm quite petite and was only able to put about half my fingers in before it felt too tight. At one point the colored lights came on and it seemed more like a dance party. This was at like 3:30 in the afternoon and it lasted about half an hour so I didn't understand the reason for that. The lights actually made me bowl worst because it somehow affected my vision. It does get it a bit hot after a while, with so many people in there it would have been more comfortable if they turn up the air. All in all it was a fun afternoon.

We're all suckers for the claw machines so we had to stop and check em' out. They have a fairly decent selection of different machines and plushies to choose from. (Machines range from 1 token to as many as 3 per play) The associates were all very friendly and helpful. I do think management can do better about assembling and restocking the prizes better though. Some machines had a small pile all pushed to one side, others only had a layer of prizes covering the bottom, and some didn't even have enough prizes to even cover the floor. Do yourself a favor and do a simple walk through before purchasing just so you know you're getting a fair shot at winning and/or to asses whether it's worth playing. The whole family had fun and we all went home winners. Even if you decide not to play, they have some super cute photo opps lining the walls.

After spending $40 we walked away empty-handed, which was really sad for kids who were expecting to win something. For the price, the value isn't there. It feels more like a money grab than an enjoyable experience. If your kids are hoping to leave with a prize, this may end in disappointment. Honestly, you're better off saving your money and buying a kawaii plushie elsewhere -- you'll spend less and actually get something for it.

Cheese in about 8-10 years. We showed up on a Sunday at 4pm and it was very busy. As we entered I noticed many new games and updated layout. We ordered some salad bar plates and some other appetizers. and enjoyed some pizza at the birthday party. The food tasted better than I remember except the salad bar tasted the same as many years ago. We then went to play and I was very disappointed in the state of the games. Many were out of order (see pictures), some seemingly still taking credits off cards while not functioning properly. I then took my son to the climbing area that Chuck E Cheese was always known for but when we tried to enter we were told it was an extra charge. Instead of complaining we returned to the party and were prompted to sing for our celebrant. However when Chuck (we are cool like that) came out he was very unenthusiastic and almost seemed bored. The entire room sang happy birthday while Chuck seemed ready for a nap. All in all we had an ok time but it is sad to see what this place has become. Broken games, extra charges and a bored Chuck. Hey, at least the food was good and the service was decent. If this is what is expected for Chuck E. Cheese I will pass and I am glad I haven't missed anything in the past 10 years.
