Amazing space. The owners Edith and Kenan are wonderful, a mix of ridiculous board game knowledge and welcoming warmth both. I've been yearning for a place like this in my town of Ventura for years, they really focus on creating a community, encouraging people to come together and meet new folks and it starts by them creating a welcoming atmosphere. They have a ridiculous amount of games and so nicely organized by type, there's something there for everyone. They partner with local small business/popups for things like food and coffee which is amazing. I'm not a super social person and I've already met a handful of really great people into a lot of the same stuff I'm into. Whether you're into boardgames, RPGs, magic or just somewhat curious about any of the above, I implore to stop by and check it out, you won't regret it!

The miss working the spot was pretty young , so perhaps lack of experience. I sat at a stool as I wanted to enjoy the vibes . I was never checked in on and I felt as though I was a bother . Drinks are canned . I asked for a glass and was told .. " All we have is plastic" as she walked away. Perhaps she's shy but there needs to be level of proper customer service. They offer Thrifty's icecream and sandwiches from Harbor Mart. The owners are super sweet, I have been following their business for awhile. A bit more energy when tending to customers would be appreciated . This spot has nice games and I love the murals! When I come back , I'll play some of the games and update my review . I really hope service improves.

This place is fun. I wish it was bigger but there is literally nothing they can do about that. They…read morehave about two basketball games, one VR game, one air hockey game, one punching bag game, two (?) arcade games, a couple claw games, a couple old Atari type games, and maybe 6-8 pinball machines. You add funds digitally onto a card in maybe $5 increments or so. I think we spent 30-60 minutes in here. Really if you're good at pinball you can spend a little longer in here. If you play the other games then they are in a timed basis and you run out much faster. My son who is 11 loves this place. I don't mind it. I think it's cute and give a nice distraction and is a cute little pit stop when downtown or we don't have anything to do. They also have thrifty ice cream and sandwiches and drinks you can order. The staff has always been nice so that helps. It's nice to know you're supporting a friendly local small business.

We came in to practice and the place was mildly busy but still it was way too hot and the AC should be cooling this place! I've been bowling here for almost 5 years and four years in league and the air-conditioning in this place is absolutely the worst! The owner here doesn't seem to care much? This has been an ongoing issue as long as I've been coming here. Word has it "they are working on it" ya whatever! For Four years!!?? I'm not the only very dissatisfied customer! EVERYONE in our league is a sweaty mad mess! Especially being that it's a full house making it more uncomfortable.

There is a small arcade area as well. Checking in and getting the shoes was very easy and the staff was courteous. I forgot how flat with no cushion the bowling shoes were. It actually got me a little nostalgic and brought back the memories of when I was in high school and bowling with friends. The lighter weight balls, especially the 8 lbs, had really small finger holes. It's probably made for kids but I'm quite petite and was only able to put about half my fingers in before it felt too tight. At one point the colored lights came on and it seemed more like a dance party. This was at like 3:30 in the afternoon and it lasted about half an hour so I didn't understand the reason for that. The lights actually made me bowl worst because it somehow affected my vision. It does get it a bit hot after a while, with so many people in there it would have been more comfortable if they turn up the air. All in all it was a fun afternoon.
