So glad Ive been able to go more often now…read more Parque 1055 has become one of my favorite spots in Santa Paula. I love all the events they have been doing. Came here for Bingo and it was so fun. Love the different special outings they have. I still have to go for their girls night special and I am not a martini girl but the ones Parque makes are really good. I tried their strawberry and watermelon one. Really good. Tried their crispy artichoke hearts for the first time. Ive been wanting to go back for more since Ive tried them. Parque has continued to impress me. Owner is always so sweet when I see him. So is their GM. Love coming. Love to go work too. I tend to go during their happy hour.

First we walk in and these 2 ladies didn't even greet us they said they were "clocked out". Then why be at the entrance? We then got sat in the back by the waterfall. It smelled like bad sewage. Next we were greeted by our server and never even told us about the happy hour menu, which we would've rather ordered from considering the price difference. Then It got WORSE. When our appetizers were being brought out our server crashed into another server and the shrimp cocktails broke and glass was everywhere. We still were waiting for our order taken. the food took forever. Refills were needed and we kept having to flag her down. after the cocktails fell she disappeared and a man named Manny (who's not a server) took over our table because he recognized my in laws THANK GOD. if It wasn't for manny I think we would've walked out. what made It even worse is our food started to come out and they took It to the WRONG TABLE. Our host was then being attentive to every other table except ours. So Manny took over and made sure we got our food and EVEN got us our drinks! we thanked him and told him he should be a server because he was doing such a great job. We most likely won't go back. DO better!

If you're looking for a place with great food, cold drinks, and an atmosphere that feels like home,…read moreThe Draft Sports Bar & Grill in Santa Paula is the place to be. It's become my go-to spot to relax, unwind, and spend quality time with great friends. One of the things that keeps my wife and me coming back is the outstanding hospitality. The entire staff, including owner Greg, always goes above and beyond to make everyone feel welcome. They're friendly, respectful, attentive, and genuinely make you feel like part of the family. In all the years we've been coming here, we've never had a bad experience. This past Saturday, my wife and I stopped in for lunch because we were craving something different. I ordered the crispy chicken sandwich "wet," covered in their homemade buffalo sauce with bacon and lettuce. You can customize it with cheese, tomato, or any toppings you like. It came with a generous serving of perfectly crispy fries that paired perfectly with the sandwich. My wife ordered the wings and chose half traditional buffalo and half garlic lemon pepper. They were cooked perfectly and packed with flavor. Her meal came with celery, carrots, ranch, extra buffalo sauce, ketchup, and she couldn't resist adding an order of their delicious fries as well. The food arrived quickly, was fresh, hot, and absolutely delicious. The portions were generous, the prices were very reasonable, and, as always, we had an amazing time. Whether you're looking to grab an ice-cold beer, catch the big game, enjoy a great meal, or simply relax in a welcoming sports bar atmosphere, I highly recommend The Draft. Great people, great food, great service, and an all-around fantastic place that never disappoints.

The happy hour menu has a great selection of both food and drinks at really reasonable prices. We ordered the chicken tacos, the spinach and artichoke dip, and a drink, and everything was delicious. The tacos were flavorful, the dip was creamy and perfect for sharing, and the drink hit the spot. Service is pretty straightforward you place your order at the counter, and someone brings everything to your table. There's not a lot of interaction with the staff, but everything was smooth and efficient. One of my favorite parts was the atmosphere. The happy hour crowd was a nice mix of people, and the place had a fun, lively energy without feeling overwhelming. Since it was a warm day, my friend and I chose to sit inside. We had a spacious table with plenty of room for our food and drinks, which made it easy to relax and enjoy catching up. Overall, I had a great experience and would definitely come back for happy hour. It's a great spot for good food, reasonably priced drinks, and a casual place to meet up with friends.

Hubby read about their Smash Burgers so we split one and the flavors with chipotle aioli were the bomb! We've been going to Third Window in SB for our Smash Burger fix- no need to drive all that way anymore!! For $17 you get a Smash Burger that feeds 2 and perfectly crispy thin fries fried in beef tallow. They even serve chipotle aioli with fries- Best!! I ordered the special White Sangria which Is so good I had to order on repeat. Since it was Happy Hour, we also ordered the grilled chicken tacos for $8. We both thought those were tasty as well and their avocado salsa verde is the just like the one I make at home. Ambiance is well curated with welcoming outside patio feeling very open and airy with organic Boho accents and wood features. The servers were efficient but very friendly. Ten Tigers is legitimately a 5 Star - will Recommend highly! Since this review, we re-visited on a Friday evening and ordered the same drinks and meal. I can confirm the consistent quality of the food. This Friday night was hopping with several groups celebrating Birthdays. We lucked out and found one of the last open tables. The servers were very busy and took a while to clear off and clean our table - not a big deal because their priority is serving the tables and getting the food and drinks out to the tables. There is a longer line at the counter to order just before Happy Hour ends at 6:00. Tip- plan your evening to arrive earlier. Ten Tigers is now on our repeat list in Ventura.

If you're going to hang your hat on the speakeasy aesthetic--dim lights, hushed tones, whispers of…read moreexclusivity--then understand this: you're entering into an unspoken pact with your patrons. We expect a certain standard, a level of care that borders on obsession. So when I catch Evan Williams--respectable, questionable, but barely twelve bucks a bottle--making an appearance behind the bar, it feels like a breach of trust. A quiet betrayal under low lighting. The illusion only works if the details hold up under scrutiny... and that pour? It broke the spell. And then comes the real offense: discovering that your Old Fashioned--the crown jewel of any respectable cocktail program--are built on bottom-shelf, dust-collecting bourbon. That's not just a letdown, it's a slap in the face. A cocktail like that deserves reverence, not shortcuts. And as if to twist the knife, there it was--a massive can of red maraschino cherries sitting shamelessly atop the bar, like some relic from a dive that's given up on finesse. It wasn't just a misstep. It was disrespect. In a place claiming the speakeasy mantle, details like these matter. They're the difference between theater and parody. The cocktails did not warrant the $15 price tag. Moreover, I would have paid more had I know the class of bourbon upfront. What ultimately redeems the space is its ambiance. The low flicker of the fireplace, the soft embrace of worn leather sofas, the curated hum of music floating just above conversation--it's seductive, even soulful. The room itself is small, intimate--the kind of place where you're bound to recognize a face, or at the very least, feel inclined to invite a stranger to share the sofa and maybe a story. And then there's the setting--tucked beneath a historic relic, a basement bar built into the bones of old Americana. The building dates back to the early 1900s, echoing with a past that deserves to be honored, not phoned in. That's exactly why I expected more from the cocktails. A place with this much atmosphere shouldn't fall flat when it comes to what's in the glass. It's a mismatch--a beautiful stage, but a script that doesn't quite rise to meet it.

One of the bartenders even ended up being my roommate for a time (and we would dance together in the living room). It was a hard time in my life when I first went there and I've grown and become, hopefully, a much better person just from experiencing the wonderful friends I've met. I could tell so many stories, but my point is simply this: This is THE BEST bar I have ever been to in my entire life and I cannot say enough good things about it and the people who run it, the regulars, bartenders, etc. Just genuinely awesome people. Even just the other day, a couple came in and they hadn't been there before, and we were just talking and they said "This is such a nice place." It's like Cheers. I walk in the door and end up hugging like everyone before I even get my name on the pool table (they also have a really nice pool table. I've been playing for years now as a result.) The owners Big J and Dave are awesome... I'm kind of overflowing with compliments here but it's just... it's the best place. If I had to choose what I was going to do with my night, my day, whatever, just getting out, it would be The Garage. Absolutely awesome. (I'm honestly just disappointed with myself that I didn't give them a Yelp review sooner. I cannot recommend this place enough. 5 stars just doesn't cut it).
