THIS PLACE IS LEGIT AUTHENTIC MEXICAN FOOD AND ITS AMAZING. Do your life a favor and come eat here if you haven't already. I was blown away by the depth of flavors being served here. Located right off Main Street you will find their resteraunt and when I went for lunch on a weekday, this place was PACKED. I had to wait about 10 min for a table to clear up but the food was worth the wait. We ordered the gorditas and the mole enchiladas and both dishes were a 10/10. Everything was so flavorful , portions were good and worth every penny spent. Overall we were beyond pleased with our lunch. We will defenitly be back! We decided to give this place a try after hearing so many raves about the food. The michelada was the best thing we had! 10/10 enjoyed my drink. Our food however... could use improvement, my husband got a plate of guisado and was very disappointed, it only had like 3-4 small pieces of meat, plate was more full of the chile and the beans then anything else he had also got tortillas with the meal and the tortillas arrived to our table once he had finished his food, I ordered the chilaquiles and unfortunately was nothing super delicious, very watery and needs more flavor. Had dinner the other evening at this lovely downtown Mexican restaurant. Had a wonderful meal. And the family all ordered different meal selections as well as beverages. All had positive responses and children were happy too. They serve alcoholic beverages and I tried the Margarita cocktail and was very pleased. Service was excellent and prices were very fair. My group of 8 loved this new find in downtown Santa Paula. They also do take out-- as I ordered Chicken soup for a family member that wasn't feeling well at home. Went here for Sunday breakfast, I ordered the chilaquiles and wife had Huevos divorciados. Food had good flavor and nice portions. Unfortunately they don't have a kids menu and with having a family of four that was my only negative. Our waitress was helpful in helping us find something for the kids that was cheaper than a big meal. Weather was bad but I've seen them have the back patio open and would be nice on a sunny day.
