The loop is just so so for cocktails. Steak tips, not great either. The wings were just ok. Now, my buddy got the burger and said it was outstanding, so there's one saving grace here.

I adventured over to the Loop with a group of friends after a Twins baseball game one day. During the day it's a standard sports bar. They have a decent menu. We ordered drinks and a couple pizzas to share for the table. The pizza was okay same with the drinks. Our server was super cool & friendly. A while after my first experience we tried to go back at night when it turns into a more club vibe but the line was so long and hardly moved after waiting 15-20min so we decided to go somewhere else. I recall the inside being kind of small with a big bar in the middle. So I'm sure it was crowded inside and that's not my vibe anymore. It was also a ton of college aged people & I felt a bit too old.

Someone mentioned in a casual conversation that this is their favorite place to eat. I've enjoyed their St. Louis Park location and I work nearby, so I made a point to duck in for a late lunch. It was oddly empty, even though there was some bustle at a competing restaurant across the street. I had super friendly service and a really delicious sandwich, a new tri-tip sandwich with a great pepper sauce. Loved that. It looks like they're really going for the sporty crowd, so I suspect this is a very lively spot when there are games to get excited about. They have a brunch menu with some items that I'd be keen to try, so I'll be back here for sure. They appear to have some vegetarian and vegan-friendly options they're proud of as well.

Preview- I am an Iowa Alumni here for football gameday! I love this bar for gameday! Gathers a large, energized crowd. They have specials for Iowa games and wolves games on beer. I will be returning for game days,, something very unique to the Minneapolis area! Can't wait!

Pretty empty, for a Friday night, but I know it gets busy later at night when they clear the tables for the dance floor. If you're looking to grab a bite, it's a decent place. Maybe the night life is better. I ordered the French Dip with a side salad. The bread was soft, and not what I have had with previous French dips, so it wasn't what I was expecting. We had a side of garlic fries and they were pretty yummy. Decent food, not too bad prices, but definitely bar food.

    #10 flatbread - just ok

Most of the food we tried was good; the standouts are their chicken (both chicken strips and on a sandwich) and the bang bang shrimp. I love that the shrimp is a good size and it is coated in just the right amount of sweet, tangy and spicy. I also like the cabbage it's served on. My kids got the chicken strips with fries and ranch and their dish was probably my favorite! Flavorful crispy fries and the perfect ranch! I also enjoyed how many flatbread options there are, and to make things better the flatbreads are 50% off on Wed nights! I picked the #10 flatbread and it was just ok; I love the caramelized onions and mushrooms but paired with the goat cheese it was all a bit sour, it could use some sweetness, maybe honey. My husband got the Juicy Loopy burger and it was very "blah"; a little too thick, no actual juiciness and lacked flavor.

The 3 stars is pretty accurate here. It's standard bar food if you're rating it from a restaurant perspective although the one interesting twist I liked was the pizza with actual mac and cheese on top. Who would've thought of this but when you're having drinks, this is the type of food you'd go after. Not bad but more like a place you come to hang with some apps versus having a meal experience.

Like an upscale Applebees... Excellent service- clean environment- good food. Went with a friend on a Thursday evening. I had the salmon bowl and he had a burger. Delicious with lots of flavor. Prices were spot on for the service and quality of their food. Nice cocktails too.

Solid spot for drinks and/or bar food! Went here for dinner on a Friday and I had the buffalo chicken wrap with sweet potato fries. The wrap and fries were solid. I also had the wikid sparkling THC drink which was the best tasting THC drink I have had. Waitress was super nice and ambiance was great!

Average. Not bad, but only average. Went for lunch during a Vikings game and no issue finding a table. Service was the best part of the experience. Had to wait a few minutes to get served but after that very attentive. Inside is nice and bathrooms were clean. A bit stark with plenty of easily viewable TVs for sports viewing which was great. Great tunes played during commercial's. Food was fine. Cheese curds were good. Husband had pepperoni flatbread. It wasn't overly flavorful but nothing wrong with it. Kind of liked the cracker like crust. I had the Cobb salad. Filled with lots of goodies and plentiful on bacon and blue cheese. Would eat there again but won't be in a hurry to get back. Street parking which can be a challenge in the North Loop. Curious to know how the burgers are and if we go back would be what we try.

We used our city pass to eat here. We had a reservation but ended up getting there early with tons of tables available. Since it was happy hour, we took advantage of a few bucks off on drinks. I chose soup and salad for my dinner. My soup was chili. It was just ok. It wasn't very hot (temp not spice) which was disappointing. Salad was the Almond Cherry option. It had a good portion of toppings and was good. For soup and salad, I thought the portions of each were ample. I also ordered the roasted cauliflower. It was good. Cauliflower was crunchy and seasoned well. Not served very hot though. Prices seemed rather high for the quality. We eat out to support our local restaurants and we do see prices rising all over but these seemed above 'normal'. Service was good but we were one table of few occupied at that time. Parking was difficult and we found an on street spot a few blocks down.

This place has a super nice clean vibe inside. The food is honestly pretty good as far as bar food goes for not unreasonable prices. I seriously enjoyed my burger and I thought some of the other dishes I tried were not underwhelming!

Boludo seems to be Argentinian-owned and family-run. I ordered the Porteño and asked for extra parmesan because of an Instagram reel I've seen with parmesan covering the crust. Due to a small misunderstanding, they ended up giving me something even better.... A fully parmesan-covered pizza. It was probably the best thing I've eaten that entire trip. Truly a great blend of salt, acid, fat, and heat. The second day I tried the Campo and tried to ask for the same cheese covering but ended up with the style I saw in the reel with the crust covered in cheese. It was still good, but not as good as my first order. They have a pretty solid Caesar salad as well! I would genuinely fly back to try this place again.

The empanadas were the best I've had outside Argentina but they were not hot temperature wise. The pizza looked amazing but I found the sauce too sweet for me. I ordered thru Uber eats and the delivery driver decided to take his sweet time to deliver the pizza. He slowly walked towards the entrance of the hotel holding my pizza while on his phone laughing. I'm pretty sure he was on Instagram. Seen a very funny post while my pizza is getting colder and colder. I contacted Uber eats and they told me it wasn't their problem. I would have to contact the restaurant. It has a lively but comfortable atmosphere that makes it easy to settle in and enjoy your meal. The staff was friendly and service was impressively quick from start to finish. We started with the app bread, which was super good and a great way to kick off the meal. I decided to order two pizzas and split both in half, which let me try four different varieties. It was definitely the right move. The bacon and golden pineapple pizza was one of my favorites. It was refreshing, had a nice little kick, and further confirmed that pineapple absolutely belongs on pizza. The lemon ricotta with goat cheese was also tasty, but the cheese was so rich that it started to dry out my mouth after a couple of slices. The meatball and ricotta pizza was a classic done really well. The meatballs were especially flavorful and clearly high quality. My favorite of the four was the hot salami and chili pepper pizza. It was absolutely divine with just enough heat, and the salami was perfectly crisped. The only downside to the pizzas was the crust. It was very thin, which made it difficult to hold all the toppings without them sliding off. There also was not much sauce, which made some bites feel a little dry. Overall, Black Sheep delivers creative and delicious pizzas in a fun atmosphere with fast, friendly service. Despite a few issues with the breading of the pizzas, I would definitely come back to try even more of the menu.

When my friend and I walked in, we came into a fairly spacious dimly lit space with loads of people inside. We were immediately informed that there would be over 1.5hr wait for a walk-in table. We were given the option to wait for bar seating as it would probably be quicker - and surely, it was. We did have to wait quite a bit, but it was a tolerable amount of time and definitely less than what it would have taken for an actual table. My friend and I decided to share 2 pizza pies as we wanted to get a taste of two different flavors, so we eventually settled on Korean BBQ & Perfect Pickle Pie. KOREAN BBQ As it was created by a Korean chef, it definitely had true authentic Korean flavors. As a Korean myself, I was very familiar with this soy vinaigrette and have tried this on many salad before - so, it was hitting home for me. Also, you can't go wrong with the bulgogi/beef short ribs known to all those who had Korean BBQ before. The combination of the sauces that they use for this pizza is definitely very rich, full of umami. I personally enjoyed it. PERFECT PICKLE PIE This pie was a totally different flavor to the Korean BBQ. It's less rich and maybe can be overpowered or considered more bland compared to other pizza flavors. But when tried together with the BBQ, it balances out the richness of the BBQ with the more subtle/less umami flavors. This pie gives more of a tangy/sour taste that pickles provide and more of a crunch due to the chips that are added on top. The dill is present, but not overpowering. It's a nice low-key kind of taste that people who like pickles will enjoy. Overall, the flavors were very rich in every pizza pie that we had that our mouths were bursting with flavor. It was definitely the most unique pizza toppings that I've had and can see why it's so highly regarded. I can tell that they really are meticulous with their every process and that their pizza guy by the wood fire oven is expertise in what he does. My friend and I walked out quite satisfied and I was honestly more full than I expected.

It consists of a black unique pasta noodle that is easy to eat, strung along with orange clumps of flavor - Mentaiko lumanche pasta was okay, my sister really liked it - The brick-oven Margarita pizza was good, very nice dough texture but the portion could be bigger - Maitake karaage had a good crisp, chewy texture paired with a decent sauce and refreshing seaweed - Gyoza had a neat appearance but nothing special taste-wise, same with the mushroom - I tried their non-alcoholic drinks- Kosho, Royal and Akai Senshi. Both taste good but overpriced for the amount of drink you get. Especially for the Royal, $12 for a small milk tea you is egregious. Even for the Kosho, you get 4 tablespoons worth of juice in a huge wine glass. I'm not a wine lover so I can't really say I enjoyed the Akai drink but if that's part of your palate all I can say is that it tastes like red wine - Service was stellar, they're quick on taking orders and replacing plates/culinary. Staff are all friendly - Interior can be a bit loud and cramped. The narrow hallway design forces the noises of the kitchen and other patrons to condense. The music they play is R&B but the volume could be turned up

Wife and I went to Sanjusan for my birthday and overall it was a very positive experience. Tip #1…read moreis use valet here. It's only $10 + tip for the valet and street parking around here is very stressful and the ramps around here cost just as much if not more. From the time we arrived staff were kind, and our server was very friendly and made us feel welcome. The interior of this restaurant was also gorgeous, simple, refined and minimalist. The menu can be a bit hard to navigate since so many menu options are unique but the server expertly guided us through. We ordered the Maitake Karaage, Duck Tataki, Mentaiko Lumache, chicken thigh yakitori, and a wagyu yakitori. Likes Vs Dislikes: LIKE the Maitake Karaage - this was the best dish of the evening. Fried mushrooms with scallion mayo, gave the texture and flavor of fried calamari but it's actually mushroom. LIKE the Mentaiko Lumache - this pasta was incredible. Perfectly al dente noodles with a unique almost cup shape that gave a nice bite of noodle and sauce together. The sauce was delicious! Dislike the yakitori - felt like there was little to no value here. You pay $7 per skewer which contains barely 3 bites of chicken. It was pretty average tasting too. Wouldn't waste the money. Like and dislike the Duck Tataki - delicious in flavor, nice and fatty, ponzu and mango added a great flavor. Disliked that for $22 you get hardly 4-5 bites of duck. Tiny tiny skinny bites mind you. Felt like the value wasn't there for this fish given how good it actually tasted. I'd look elsewhere on the menu. Overall, given what we liked, the ambience and staff, I am giving this a 5/5. If money isn't a factor then come here and go crazy, but if value matters then stray away from the yakitori and Duck Tataki, just my 2 cents.
