Service was friendly, but I wouldn't say they went above and beyond. I was eating alone at the bar, and I'm usually accustomed to more touch points than I got here, but it wasn't bad. I they checked in more, I may have felt more comfortable bringing up my dissatisfaction with the fries. Beer selection (on tap) was only ok. Definitely a personal preference but I wouldn't say say they had a wide variety of beer styles to select from - at least while I was there. You could order a vegan-cheese pizza with vegan pepperoni. Much appreciated as someone who's lactose intolerant! They also had cauliflower/ gluten-free crust options for those who need it. Many creative toppings too. They also had a range of bottled drinks and non-alcoholic beer, too. My dining partner and I got a vegan cheese 14" pizza with vegan pepperoni and green bell peppers. The food came out in maybe 10 minutes. It was quite good-- not the best pizza I've ever had by any means, but loved that it was vegan (yay, no lactose), and it was tasty. When I called to order and confirm what size it was I was told that it was 14 inches. I double checked the price but then was told that it was over $30! The restaurant has maintained its exorbitant price and what confuses me is how/why they would advertise something that they don't actually offer. Is this a come on or bait and switch? This experience, combined with negative reviews the restaurant has had in the past, has finally persuaded me to not waste my time with trying to food from here at any point in the future.

He asked us if we wanted to just give him our credit card information and he would ring us up later, when the fire department gave them the ok, as he understood not wanting to wait around. It broke our heart to leave our leftovers, but we agreed and went to go get the car. Thankfully we are stubborn.. and optimistic to a fault. And by the third time we circled around the block, the fire truck was pulling away. I ran in and asked if there was any chance our food hadn't been thrown away yet, and it hadn't! The staff was happy we had been able to come back, and they packed everything up for us, even taking the hush puppies off the bill and sneaking in a complimentary piece of key lime pie. The spot is pretty laidback and very clean, but has a bit of a rustic nuance to it as well. I like that. The serving staff were extremely nice and helpful towards advising me in making my selection -- with me being a first-timer and all. I kept it simple...I chose the Classic Burger (pink) with pepper jack cheese, bacon marmalade, and as a side, I had to go with the Dirty Fries -- 'cause that's how I roll y'all. About the food: I have to say, the burger was staunchly built and crafted with artistry. Nice and tall with a seriously tasty bun encapsulating everything. Perfectly well-seasoned meat and the first bite was simply delightful. I noticed as I got towards the center of the meat, it was bit less juicy than the surrounding parts of the burger, but nevertheless still tasty. My Dirty Fries were delicious In the end; the experience as a whole was quite delightful and I would definitely like to go there again -- perhaps try a different burger to expand upon my experience with this place.
