I found this on Yelp and decided to give it a try while passing through. Its location is great!! They are exactly between DPAC & DBAP. They across from the old tobacco factory building. Lots of walking options as well as entertainment and a couple of shops. The service at Queen Burger is awesome. The front staff are very nice and helpful. The tots were extra crispy - - my favorite!! They were seasoned with sea salt ( other option is Cajun). My class burger, as well as hubby's plain burger, were a bit too salty. I'm not sure if it was the cheese or if the patties were seasoned. We enjoyed the meal and the area, other than the saltiness.

I ordered a classic burger with fries and it was a very solid meal! I loved the seasoning on the fries as well as the crispiness. The burger itself was yummy but a little too greasy for me. I took my food to go but the inside of the restaurant looked like a great place to get a burger before going to a baseball game. The staff was extremely friendly and nice! I would come back if I wanted a greasy cheese burger!

Delicious burgers. Definitely slightly pricier due to the prime location in downtown Durham near Durham Bulls Stadium and DPAC. Their fries are always on point! Sometimes due to the crowds, the wait can be slightly long but it is one of our favorite burger spots in the downtown Durham area.

QueenBurger is located in the American Tobacco Campus and not too far from the Durham Bulls Stadium or the Durham Performing Arts Center. The colorful walls is what caught my eye and I decided to eat here. The staff was very friendly. I ordered the Classic Combo but should have ordered the Plain Combo as I don't like onions. I thought I got them all off but they were in between too and made the burger greasy. They did have a peanut butter burger but I didn't like the toppings on that. I liked that the meat was larger than the roll. I loved the fries. They were very thin and I didn't expect to like the fries as much as I did but they were my favorite part of the meal as they were cooked to perfection. You can get sea salt fries or spicy fries. Besides burgers they have chicken fingers too. I liked the self-serve station for condiments and drinks. QueenBurger is on the smaller side with some tables inside and outdoor seating on the sidewalk. I will return here again as I go to DPAC shows often and try the plain burger or the chicken fingers.

These folks are hustling. There was a line and they are smashing away on the flat top just as fast as they can! I had the classic burger. The hoop cheese was nice and melts. The dill pickles had good crunch. Will say the burger is all crust with nothing tender but was still a tasty bite. My husband asked for no onion and they made it perfectly and marked it on the foil. I loved the shoestring fries. Few places have these any more and they were so tasty. We were there on Thursday and got the last 2 seats at the bar. The interior is small and busy with carry out orders so be prepared for the bustle.

The food was pretty good. They really need to have a separate line if you would like to get a refill for your beverage. They make you get in the back of the really long line just to order another drink. This caused us to hold a table For 25 minutes longer after we were finished eating. They really could've used our table. Get a better system.

North Carolina grass-fed beef smash burgers just a hop, skip, and jump from the Durham Bulls baseball stadium is a must stop for burger lovers. I've enjoyed the Classic and the Spicy burgers because of their "hot off the grill" freshness and all around good taste. I love the crunchiness and special sauce. Both Shoestring fries and Tater Tots are solid. And fresh. A veggie and vegan burger and chicken tenders are also on the menu. Beverages include Coke brand fountain drinks, lemonade, cucumber thyme cooler, assorted cocktails, and frozen adult drinks. Ice cream sandwiches from locally owned Rose's can be enjoyed afterward or before. Seating is available both inside and outside. The wait time is worthwhile since each order is made fresh. I'm looking forward to my next visit to a Bulls game!

QueenBurger has been on my list for a while and I kept forgetting about it. Made it this evening before a DPAC show. The inside is small but a decent amount of seating even at the bar. There is a decent amount of outside seating, which we enjoyed. The menu is short, but it allows them to make those items really well. I got the PBJ burger... branch out. Surprisingly delicious with a hint of peanut butter flavor and good strawberry bacon jam. The fries like string fries - thin and cooked just at crunchy. The tater tots were good as well. Enjoyed the spicy seasoning as well. I willbe back to get a homemade ice cream sandwich. You should try it too.

Prompt, friendly service. Delicious burgers and fries. I prefer a smash burger to a traditional burger, and this place hits the spot.

Even before me an my party entered we could hear music playing from the building, which kept the vibes up! Moving onto the food, a certain menu item caught my eye. Something that I'm legally obligated to keep quiet about... but let tell you- this burger was Gooood. This "Signature Secret Burger" was rather unique, as it was like you took a pretty simple egg burger, and just ramped it up. My initial thought when I first tried it was that it was a burger squared, the mystery ingredients amplified the flavor to make such a savory meal. It wasn't to overbearing like many other burger places that I've visited, not immediately making me feel fat and full after taking a few bites. Our party also ordered a whole quart of fries, and they were SO GOOD!!! I'm a sucker for good fries, and you knocked this out of the park! Your fry soft was nice and mellow and complimented the fries perfectly. (And even afterwards, the fries warmed up really well and were still Really freakin' good!) Finally, during my visit, their anniversary event (Happy 15th By The Way ) and they were offering FREE DESSERT for someone who happened to sit in a randomly chosen seat. And by the luck of the gods my little brother found his way onto the seat! It was just really awesome to see a restaurant doing such awesome things for their birthday, y'don't see that every day! Overall, this place is definitely a place to stop by if you're in Durham. If you're in the area visit IMMEDIATELY if you love good fun food!

Vegan burger review!…read more Every once in a while even the vegans want a burger (aka me) so anyway I went to bull city brewery. The burger was yummy, nothing super unique, but I liked their vegan patty and thought it was moist and well flavored. I think it was a little expensive to come with no sides at all? but I don't think that's unique to the vegan burger. Anyway, I enjoyed the drink (blueberry mojito, a special at the time) a lot, and noticed that they have craft sodas on tap (super fun). The vibe is casual and woodsy, and the food came out in good time, though ordering at the front can take a while, since they only have one register. I think that the range of non-beer drinks they offer sets them apart a bit from other breweries (with the sodas, the specials, a few cocktails), which I really appreciate as someone who does not enjoy beer. They also tend to run drinks on a theme (i.e. when I was there they were offering like 7-10 different blueberry flavored drinks, both alocholic and non-alcoholic), which can make returning here fun. Overall, a good experience. They have some fun offerings, and a solid vegan burger.

The pimento cheese chicken sandwich was good but didn't have nearly enough pimento cheese. After that experience, we decided to come back tonight. Sadly, the menu we enjoyed was completely gone and replaced. The server assured us the new menu was much better. We ordered the Airline Chicken and the Steak Frites. The chicken was good, along with the spicy sauce but the plate felt empty. The steak was barely edible and mostly fat. The arugula salad it came with wasn't good either. Luckily the rosemary fries were very tasty. Overall, we will not be back for the "new and improved" menu. The service didn't help, as they were understaffed.

We had a show to catch so I did not send the burger back, but I think it would have been way better had it been cooked to the temperature I requested and if I had asked for the rosemary aoili to be omitted. The burger that my date had was better. The smashburger had a mix of sirloin and another cut of beef. It was topped with melty cheese ans bacon. It was moist and a solid burger! Service very attentive. Our waiter was very good. I just wished he had asked me how the burger was. I would still give them another try. Nice spot and waiters are great.
