Had a wonderful Asian chicken wrap here, and my friend had what she described as the best burger ever. Would love to go back and try more.

If you want the loop food go to Chapel Hill. They always have good service and food. This one in Durham was not good at all. We were almost the only ones in there at mid day and it took a long time to get food and then the pizza was burnt and yet served to us cold. read more

So, if you order nothing else, get the strawberry malt!! It is the best i have ever had. As I'm writing this review i am wishing i had another one, ha! I wondered why they gave me a spoon, but no straw, then i discovered the big chunks of strawberries and it all made sense. The garden salad was also very good, a real salad with broccoli and the croutons were so delicious! Rosemary potato chips where fresh and lovely. The chicken sandwich was a little disappointing, but not bad. Just nothing to write home about. I will be going back, especially for a shake, but going to try something new! Every time I order online for pickup there are issues. Missing items or incorrectly made items. This time we ordered a sandwich, no mayo add a pickle spear, and a burger, add a pickle spear. Neither of us received pickles and there was mayo on the sandwich. She hates mayo, so the sandwich was wasted. I already started counting boxes in the bag due to previous missing items. Now I guess I have to cut open the bag (they tie it closed) and physically remove every item and inspect? It's wrong every time. It's easier just to remove The Loop from our rotation or restaurants. read more

I had lunch here with my team. It is a fairly new restaurant located on Broad Street. None of us had ever eaten from the The Loop. For first timers, we were pleasantly surprised and I would eat here again. Atmosphere: There is plenty of space and it doesn't 'feel' crowded. Ive been to restaurants that fit as many tables in the dining area as they can and you almost have to step over people to refill your drink. Not here. There is also outside dining available which appears to be a viable option as the weather changes because they have an awning. There are a couple of distracting televisions mounted on the wall, which in my opinion takes away from the purpose of dining together and having conversation. But then maybe I am one of few that believes that good conversation can add flavor to a table. Staff: We were greeted immediately as we entered. The staff was pleasant and kind as they took our orders and took time to clarify what we were asking for. Im not sure how long the place has been open at this location but there was one lady on the register that seem to know pretty much everything. She reminded me of that person that you may work with that knows a bit about everything that is happening at the work place. The table busser was very polite as well. Cleanliness: Overall, the restaurant was Okay. I didn't notice any unswept food or trash on the floors. The kitchen area is open in the back and you have a direct visual. It was orderly and clean. We decided on a table that had been cleared but not cleaned. I did this myself with sanitizing wipes (my preference) but this would be the only ding in this lonnnng post. :) FOOD: The food was good. Our food was prepared as we ordered. It was hot and fresh. I had the salmon sandwich, another had chicken, hamburger and a pasta. There were no complaints about the food. The menu is simple enough that it shouldn't take you 10 minutes to read through it just to decide what you are going to eat. There are salads, sandwiches, pasta and pinsas. The price is as I expect and is no more than mist places that sell comparable menu items. Overall, I would eat here again. It was nice experience. read more

Poor customer service when picking up take out orders. Staff did not acknowledge I was waiting to be assisted (after 5 minutes of waiting). Then, staff gave an attitude when I asked about my order and stated that there were no pick up orders ready. **update: and it turns out that the pick up orders were ready since before I arrived to pick up the order. I ordered a sandwich for carry out at 3 on a Sunday and waited 50 minutes for my order. There were only 4 people in the restaurant when I ordered and it was not busy at all. Thirty minutes into waiting the cashier went to check on my meal and found out they the cook didn't have the ticket for it and no one had started on my meal. I'm not sure how they lost my order but I was very disappointed. My work ordered in for lunch one day. To go items were packaged well and all sauces were provided. Pasta was a little overdone for others but perfect for me. Creamy and flavorful sauce. The salad only had croutons so it was missing a cheese and pepper combo that wold make it a Caesar salad but the dressing was very good. read more

Great food and great service. I had the "spicy" black bean burger (it wasn't very spicy, which is GOOD because I can't handle spice but it was one of few vegetarian options). The streak fries were tasty and crispy. The woman we ordered with was very sweet, very conscientious of our order too; I wanted extra pickles and there wasn't anywhere on the POS for her to write that so she walked to the back and I heard her tell the cook about the pickles! The food came out rather quickly too. They give you pagers to pick up your order from the counter when it's ready, and you clear your place as well. Very nice and unexpecting taste. I had the Vegetable Bow Tie with a red light sauce. It was very good 5*. My husband had the chicken alfredo with shrimp that was 5*. My cousin had the breaded chicken garden salad 4 1/2* she wished it had little more chicken... dressing.. Mustard vinaigrette... ambiance: cute! Loved the green pocker dots.... serves at the counter was absolutely amazing... I just wished that we were severed our food after the register asked for a Tip. This was my first visit. I had the personal pizza with bacon and portobello mushrooms. It was very good. You order at the counter which I don't tend to like for dinner, but that's OK. The restaurant is clean and bright. There is no bar. I searched Uber Eats for close to an hour tonight trying to find a nicely rated restaurant.. We decided on The Loop and ordered the bbq bacon cheeseburger and the regular cheeseburger, both with steak fries. The burgers were both good and a good size. Every staff member was friendly and helpful but the manager (pretty sure she was the manager) was awesome. Everything had mayo slathered all over it, though I'd requested no mayo in every note for every burger, the fries were limp, the chicken overcooked and dry, the vegetables pale and sickly looking. So glad steamed broccoli was available as a side in lieu of french fries. Interior space was voluminous- high ceiling, tables and booths were comfortably spaced apart (covid precautions still in effect). This place has recently become one of my favorite spots to go eat. The space is very nice, The menu has a lot of options and the food is always really good. The employees are always friendly. I came here for lunch with a large group and the staff was extremely nice coming up to our table asking us if we needed anything and taking our trays and dishes from the table for us while we were there. overall I have had a very positive experience and will continue to eat here. read more

Was in Durham looking for a place to grab a bite. I arrived at 830. 30 minutes before closing. Normally I wouldn't do this but I had no other options. Staff was INCREDIBLE. Food was FRESH. Chicken sandwich, Cheeseburger and strawberry shake. ALL YUMMY. Grant, the kitchen manager was very friendly. Stayed past closing time. Nobody gave me any issues! Dissatisfied customer came in today to pick my order that I placed through door dash I was told when I arrived that my order had not even been confirmed. My order was due to be ready by 11:40, now I had to wait an additional 20 minutes. When asked about their mgr I was told they don't have one! I drove from Raleigh to the location in Durham because that's the one I did like. In the mist of being told no mgr available I never received an apology until finally a staff person started to feel remorseful I'm assuming after expressing my dissatisfaction!!
