Had breakfast there ... recommend the grilled blueberry muffin and eggs Benedict ... view was amazing! Would recommend...

We were staying in an Airbnb that was very close to this restaurant. We had driven, walked and biked by it multiple times during our stay, so we decided to give it a try on our last morning in town. Even if the food was horrendous (which it was not), this place is worth going to for its spectacular views of Bar Harbor. We sat outside on the deck on a gorgeous summer morning and loved the atmosphere. I tried to order The Cadillac, but was disappointed to learn that they were out of smoked salmon, which also eliminated my backup plans. I ended up ordering the French Toast, which was fine, but nothing spectacular. My wife at the oatmeal and a toasted blueberry muffin which she really liked. My daughters had the Chocolate Chip Pancakes and the Out The Dorr Breakfast Sandwich and said that they enjoyed them, Did I mention that the view is spectacular?

We stopped for brunch, on what whim. So glad we did. Fantastic seafood chowder, lobster, and smoked salmon omelet. Great service, lovely view.

The view, service, and ambiance are 5 stars. The food, well...stale bread, questionable freshness of the lobster, and the steak was bland. Just tasted old. I've had frozen steaks from a cheap corner diner that had more flavor. This was not frozen but not fresh either. Save your money, if you go, get drinks and a salad to enjoy the view.

Absolutely spectacular view. Easiest 5 star review I've ever given. The staff is friendly Amos and Angela are phenomenal! Can never go wrong with a Smoked Salmon Eggs Benny or a Tequila Sunrise. Perfect destination while in Acadia National Park and Bar Harbor. We will be back celebrating our birthdays. Highly recommend!!!

Breakfast with a view! Small menu but good variety of options. Prices were reasonable. I had the blueberry pancakes which was a huge serving - 3 LARGE pancakes. They were good. Indoor and outdoor seating available. How to order: grab a table, scan the QR code to view the menu, then order at the bar. Food will be brought to your table but you have to cleanup after yourself. Breakfast is served until 10:30.

I often find that whenever I go against what the Yelp community recommends I am disappointed. The absolute only good thing I can say about this place is the ravishing view. The food took an hour to arrive with one dish taking an impressive hour and 15 minutes. When it did finally arrive, my dish had to be returned because a not very delicious sauce was spread all over it despite my request to put it on the side. Pancakes also arrived burnt and barely edible. However, I must mention that our waitress did her best to alleviate the situation and remade the dish with no problems. Ultimately this spot was a HUGE disappointment - a waste of great views. The food is unappetizing and definitely not worth the wait. Skip this place and go to a different location.

disappointed in the taste of the food. view was amazing and service was good but i took a sip of my latte and could not believe how bitter it tasted. couldn't even take 2 more sips. eggs benedict was OK, potatoes were the best thing about my meal.

It has nice view... but that's it. Make sure you wipe your table with wet tissue. You will see your tissue turning black. I doubt they clean the table at all. I ordered egg benedict with lobster, bar harbor breakfast with lobster, apple juice, and cranberry juice. It was $69, and paid a tip upfront. Server served us food, and i never saw him after. Everything else is self-serving. I don't know what that 15% tip was for. It's plastic utensils and paper plate, so they don't need extra water and labor to clean.. just clean the table at least.. So food.. You can see in the photo how much lobster they gave me. Without lobster it was supposed to be $13, and they charged me double for that lobster. Okay fine.. it's a restaurant, not a fish market.. but it was fishy and dry. Not worth a penny. Egg benedict is supposed to be with poached eggs with runny yolk. But no.. it's just almost full cooked- but generously to say- half cooked egg. Maybe go there for coffee and take some cute pictures cuz it does have nice view and the light makes everything look pretty. But don't go here for food. If you do, just don't order lobster.

Service was great. View is lovely. Drinks fine. Food unfortunately not impressive. It's too bad as there many other choices nearby.

We requested to sit by the window to have my birthday lunch and loved watching the sun set over the water. This is in a prime spot right by the wharf and has a gorgeous view of the water by the windows, but has a great bar and more seating in the back. Menu is huge with sandwiches, fish, pizzas, salads, etc. We went with the warmed brown butter lobster roll and a margarita pizza add sausage. My husband is a pizza guy - has it like 5x a week - so he's picky. He loved this pizza and said it was really top tier. I also thought it was very good - crust and toppings all great and cooked well. Sometimes margarita pizzas are runny due to less cheese/sauce ratio but this one was good and crust was yummy. The lobster roll was a different way to have it - I usually have it in the mayonnaise sauce chilled, this one was warmed up with brown butter on a delicious bun. Very good. They have 3 different lobster rolls on the menu to satisfy whatever the craving/need. For desset - we chose the chocolate death parfait. It was SO good. Not something I would usually get bc it was so heavy - but we were in town for my birthday so, treat yo self! Layers of chocolate cake, dense white marscapone cream and chocolate mousse with caramel and toffee chunks. Yeah, sign me up for that. Don't forget to visit their gift shop directly underneath and off to the side - it's huge! It actually has far more than the standard cup and t-shirt or hat. Expect loads of gifts and souvenirs and some awesome t-shirts. We got more than a few things in this surprise shop. 100% recommend this place.

We had a wedge salad to start which was served a bit differently with their house-made vinaigrette. My husband chose the lobster enchiladas with rice and veggies and a cilantro cream sauce. These were VERY good and I was jealous. I loved them. I chose the fish of the day which was haddock with rice and veggies and a pesto sauce that was SO good! Very fresh and filling. Large filet of fish on this plate. For dessert, I wanted to try the Indian Pudding a la mode and our server informed me that it was very rich and was somewhat like pumpkin pie, ginger cookies and bread pudding. It was something different, but VERY potent and a bit much for us. We swapped it out for the blueberry apple crumble and were much happier with that. All in all, a wonderful dinner on a rainy night for my birthday. We'd happily come back to this spot for a date night while in town.

This might have been the best meal we had on our trip to Maine!…read more A lot of restaurants weren't open yet but we came across this one. We were originally only going to order some small plates , but the one entree with fried chicken looked like something my husband would really like. Cocktails were great. Our server Eli was very friendly and helpful , he answered my questions. The lobster bisque was delicious, and I liked that it had a tempura lobster garnish and the caviar in it was a nice touch too. The tempura wasn't as crispy as I would have liked it , I think only the end part was, but still very good soup. We also got some oysters which were great with the sauces on the side. I ended up getting the halibut, which I never get at a restaurant- but it was so good! With the wakame butter, bok choy, pork belly, and sticky rice. All the flavors worked so well together! Husband got the Cantonese chicken- which was delicious as well. Very crispy, flavorful. We were so stuffed afterwards otherwise we would have got dessert. We ended up taking some Togo even though we had to drive for hours the next day. We put it in a cooler and ate some for lunch cold and it was still good. We had a great meal- i definitely recommended it.
