    6 Oysters

The oysters were great! The bartender was prompt and sweet as well. They had a great selection of drinks to choose from and the atmosphere was lovely. I'll be back.

These were the best oysters I have ever had in my life!! I really wanted to try this place out when I was planning my trip to Acadia and I am so glad I stopped by. I was here in the summer (August) and although Bar Harbor gets pretty busy during this time, there was little to no wait when I came around 4pm. The bar is quite charming, nothing fancy but feels very welcoming. The oysters were so sweet and fresh, and the mignonette was soo darn good! I still think about these oysters to this day...

Trout dip and oysters were very tasty for someone who doesn't like oysters. Drinks were great. Trevor, our server, is super friendly and knowledgeable. Dimly lit, great music. Don't worry if the bar is full, the booths in the back are such a vibe.

Stayed at the bar due to limited seating. The bar tender was the only person working the entire front end. She was friendly and efficient. Ordered the local oysters and dip. Food in the Main Street area are all expensive so be prepared for that.

BEST MIGNONETTE IN THE ENTIRE COUNTRY!!!!! I would bathe in this mignonette Ohhhhh man, you knew I'd be back! This bar has such a great vibe! No bs just straight to the point! Stopped in for our anniversary from wayyyy downeast, we had the swan island oysters and they were spectacular. The bartender was so amazing! She was so cool and super knowledgeable about where to grab some oysters to bring back home! I absolutely love this place! I will continue coming back for many many years! The care and love that is put into their oysters is very appreciated! Just keep on keeping on guys! You all deserve a medal for bringing so much love and happiness to this community ! Thanks again!

So much fun, and a rare non-tourist spot in a bustling vacation town! We visited in the evening after sunset on Cadillac, and we enjoyed a lovely spread of Oysters and apps (plus tasty drinks). I had a dirty martini, my husband had a negroni (both perfectly made), and we loved our food. The mackerel dip is amazing, and the oysters are fresh and fantastic. They are participants of the Maine Oyster Trail, so make sure to log your visit! Very casual and friendly service across the board. This is not a restaurant, but it is a great bar. Cozy alcoves and tables are first come first serve. I will absolutely return next time I visit MDI!

All hail the amazing Zana, the mixologist, hostess, server, and busser at this Main Street establishment! Oysters to die for, great cocktails, beers and for those of us so inclined: mezcal.

Cute vibe, great drinks, late night snacks for those of us who still haven't adjusted to east coast time :) this place was a hit. Service was awesome and we had an awesome time.

Exceptionally great local Maine oysters that just need a little squeeze of lemon . When they're this good minimal is better. Get two dozen !!! Parking is very difficult, place was packed today. 5 stars

Came here on 11/16 which I guess was their off season. We came mostly to try their oysters, but unfortunately, during off-season their kitchen is closed and they're really only a bar. We still ended up sitting down and grabbing two drinks while we were there. They had one bartender which was fine since they weren't too busy anyway she was really sweet and kept in conversation with us the whole time we were there. The place is rather small, but I imagine during peak season that this place could get really busy .

Waited outside while they opened and there was already a line of people waiting so I thought this was going to be good and I was not disappointed. This place is small but cozy with vibrant food and spaces. The menu is limited but oh boy the food is great so that proves you don't need a big menu to get good food. Today we had the oysters and the Manchego panini, everything was so tasty, fresh and well presented. The host/bartender/waitress is very friendly and upbeat. This is a great choice for a bite and good beer.

I'd give 6 stars if I could!!! The ambiance was fabulous. Felt like I was in a hole in the wall bar in the middle of Bar Harbor. They're open later than many restaurants in town and have a limited menu but the best oysters I've ever had. The vinaigrette sauce they were served with was top tier. They purchase from island-based oyster farms in Bar Harbor and buy fresh every day. I'd go back 100x over!

Don't stop, run. Best oysters in town. Bartender is so knowledgeable, personable and authentic. The Bar Harbor Blondes are devine and we will be back again tonight. Soft jazz playing in the back makes this a perfect spot for anytime of day. 10/10 recommend!

Not for me personally, as I would have liked more flavor from the infusions, but that's definitely a personal preference. The Blackened Fish Sandwich with a Small Caesar Salad had very flakey fish. I loved the meld of flavors, and ended up devouring my sandwich! The bun held together well. The caesar salad was a decent size and well dressed. This spot is cozy and quaint and full of friendly local staff members. It was Kentucky Derby day and a lot of folks we were watching it as we walked in, ambiance was jovial and loud. Greeted immediately by the hostess and bartender and waited a short while for a table to open up. I ordered the chicken sandwich and my husband ordered the Reuben. He is Jewish and loves Reubens, gets them all the time. He said this one was really, really good. Great texture to the meat. Now, my Chicken Sandwich - was the best I've ever had in my life. I told my husband, I will be holding any and all future chicken sandwiches up to this one as the benchmark. The breaded chicken breast was huge and delicious quality white meat. It was dipped in buffalo sauce, and had fresh slaw, pickles, tomato and blue cheese sauce. It was DECADENT and it really hit the spot for me after a long day. I could not stop eating it. YUMMMM. Oh, we also ordered the pub fries - loaded with aioli and cheese and greens. Fries were delish but a bit too much aioli for our taste. Still, wonderful! Huge portion. Overall, food was yummy, out quickly, service was great and we loved the vibes. Easily a fav for us on this trip and we'll be looking forward to coming back again some day!

The breading was so thick it wasn't even on the fish, there was space between it. The mashed potatoes however were good. We also got the seafood risotto. I would have liked to sit outside on their cute patio, but it was full and the hostess said it would be a long wait, so we decided to eat inside. At first she directed us to a table in the bar but realized it was very loud (music and patrons) so offered to seat us in the other inside section. We had a view of a bocce match and the patio--definitely better than the bar, but not as nice as the patio. They were playing classic rock and the people at the table next to us asked to turn it down, and they were accommodated, which made for a nicer experience for us as well. The falafel wrap and Banh Mi (v) were very good and the chips can be substituted for a house salad or fries, which we did. The dressing was light and I enjoyed it. The highlight of the experience at Lompoc was dessert. Although there was nothing vegan on the dessert menu, our server suggested an "off the menu" rhubarb raspberry sorbet, which was excellent! And doesn't it enhance the experience when you feel like they're letting you in on something special?! I'd definitely return and try to get there early (4:30) to be able to sit outside.
