This was our first time coming to The Loft. The Wedding Rehearsal dinner-get together was held here. My oldest child, She is getting married this weekend to the love of her life. Everything was so lovely. The set up was beautiful and nice. I love everything about the patio area here. All of the staff, they were wonderful and so helpful. The food items that were served were all delicious as well as the drinks. Everything was so very nice. We will be back again. If you have never been here before it's a great place to go whether it's for just one person, two or a group of people. The area around The Loft is very nice and enjoyable to walk in and around.

We chose this because it said it's kid friendly. Well kids can come but I wouldn't call this kid friendly. Other than that the food and drinks were amazing. Ambiance is great for a couples night or a night with the girls. Our server was so nice and great with the kiddos. We will be back but without the kiddos.

Drastically different vibe if you come here for food only instead of drinks. We wanted to come here to celebrate with my family because my aunt and I had fond memories of the food and vibes. Food is still pretty good, but service/ambiance were off for a Friday night. In order to get into the courtyard you have to squeeze past people who are sitting near the front door and it's really uncomfortable. We dropped a lot of $$$ on the food but the service was really really slow. I came here later because I was in a group and I had to wait like 15 minutes for a knife and fork and had to practically hunt my server down to order food. Didn't even bother to get anything to drink. Had the server been more present I would've ordered more apps because I know those sliders and other things are good but quite frankly I didn't want to be there too much longer, as we had to sit outside and there were some heaters but not enough for our bigger group of maybe 16 and we weren't going to ask to pull some more because service was slow on a Friday night last week. There were only 2 groups outside including us. I'll give some leeway because maybe they were busy inside but I don't think that's really a good reason to not stop by every so often to look if drinks need to be refilled or anything since our check was so big and we only had 1 person pay it ‍ Anyways it was a little disappointing considering how much me and my aunt thought about how great this place is

Our group of 5 continues it's Weds weekly dine out with a 6:30 reservation. Seated on their lovely shaded patio. Our efficient & cheerful server, Brooke, took my order for Fish Tacos and Ginger beer. Visually appealing and true to menu description. Crisp cod with some tomatoes and lettuce; drizzled with Sriracha aioli. Fries, lots of fries. $20. Enjoyable all around.

    Komos tequila, so good!

I have been going to the loft for years. I know Niko and Paula well and both of them are wonderful people. This is a staple of the Edmonds restaurant and bar community and somewhere that everyone should check out. The food is fantastic too. Cocktails are A grade!

We came in here for drinks one night this week . Everyone was friendly. They let us seat anywhere we want. I love choosing my own seat. They have cool trendy vibe . I love a peaceful and relaxing atmosphere. Chill music playing in background. We sat at the bar and had some small talk with the bartender. Good times . I will go back and try their food :-)

As we only stopped in for a couple drinks before leaving town, after having dined across the street a few hours before, I can tell that The Loft is a quality establishment that caters to discerning diners and prosperous patrons. That being said, our admittedly limited experience was a mixed bag. With regards to the cocktails we ordered: * New Fashioned: like an Old Fashioned, but better in every way! The cherry and blackberry add a new dimension of sweet and sour notes to the nominally cough-syrupy nature of your average Old Fashioned. 10/10! * Hot Toddy: Should be called a "Not Toddy". Seemed too watered down to be considered a cocktail. The equivalent of calling a Hershey bar "chocolate". The outdoor seating area was canopied with transparent plastic sheeting, enclosed in a more claustrophobic layout than I would consider safe, since servers and patrons had to frequently squeeze by and behind us, but I'm not paranoid about COVID to fault them for this: they are working with the space they are giving, and doing well enough. Unfortunately, the heat lamp above us was malfunctioning, and thus we were in amidst a bit of a cold spot on a 37 degree day. It was warm enough to be tolerable, if not comfortable. Our hot drink and whiskey were enough to file the edges off the chill. Our waitress was efficient if slightly aloof, but I credit that to the number of tables she and her co-worker had to juggle. My brief foray into the interior of the restaurant revealed its classy layout and appointments. All-in-all, I'd be willing to give The Loft a second shot to blow my mind the next time we're in Edmonds, when the world is back to spinning normally on its axis and COVID is dead and buried. Without a chance to experience their full menu and internal ambiance, anything else would be unjust.

This place has a great atmosphere! Such a great place for drinks. They had fun garnishes and fancy drinks made by a mixologist. The bartender was an artist! The first time we went we only had drinks and they were good nothing to complain about. The second time we decided to try the food. The sliders and beat salad were amazing. The fish and chips not so much. Granted it was last call for food and I'm ordering fish and chips at a fancy cocktail bar. Maybe that was my mistake. Regardless of the disappointing fish and chips I'll still go back we've already been twice so that says something. The employees were super friendly each time and had great conversation with the bar tender! The bar was very inviting and they also have out door seating in the back. Highly recommend this spot.

Can recommend for a small intimate dinner, good drinks and service. Love that they ran floor heaters out on the courtyard, I've never seen that in a restaurant, but I'm also from LA! The hosts/servers were accommodating when we walked in without a reservation, this was on a weeknight but they were still busy. Menu is pretty limited with a little bit of everything. We shared the burger and shrimp salad, mainly because we saw this is what most other tables were ordering and we were happy to find out why, both were good.

Burata and como bread...so much flavor!

Appetizers were delicious! I would not order the Truffle fries again as they lacked flavor.

There is limited indoor seating, which I opted to sit by the entrance. This allowed me to experience this indie cafe's vibe. It had a bit of European flair which was pleasant. Definitely the two female baristas (owners?) handled the constant line with efficient cadence. Dealing with orders at the window, orders at the counter, serving up pastries, and dealing with dishes. Pretty impressive actually. I had driven by this spot many times this past year, usually hitting up other indie cafes in Edmonds. Featured beans were from Camber, roasted up in Bellingham. Spot on mocha. Glad I detoured and stayed awhile after the pop up. Even caught up briefly with another Yelp Elite/All Star/IGer. Adding this to my Edmonds rotation. Recommended!

It's so cute and you feel like you're in Italy having an espresso and coffee. The staff was friendly too! My girl friend and I were pleased. After 4PM, they have a bar next door called Bar Americano that serves non-alcoholic and alcoholic beverages. The bartenders were friendly too cuz we were just stopping by but said we'd be back at another time to try this place out! Parking is street, although you probably could park at Ace Hardware. My girl friend and I did the 10 minute walk from Edmonds City Hall since it's free 3 hour public parking in 2 areas of the lot :) nice weather too!

I was told by a bartender (who is not the owner) that I should not return, despite never being disruptive, intoxicated, or in violation of any rules here. The reason given was unrelated to my conduct at this bar and stemmed from a serious personal safety concern involving a drink that I had raised elsewhere about another patron who also frequents this establishment. The interaction left me feeling that it was more important for the other patron to feel comfortable here than it was for me to feel comfortable or welcome. As a woman raising a safety concern, being dismissed and told not to come back rather than having the situation handled neutrally or referred to management was especially upsetting. Rather than addressing the concern professionally, I was told not to return so that someone else would not have to worry about encountering me. Being treated this way -- despite having done nothing wrong at this bar -- felt unfair and unprofessional. I would encourage ownership to review how situations involving customer safety concerns are handled and who has the authority to decide who is welcome

We did not actually come to eat because we had dinner reservations a few hours later, but we did want something small to nosh on. The menu options actually sounded pretty tasty. We only ordered the fried pickles as we didn't want anything heavy. The pickles were tasty, but they needed maybe 1 more minute in the fryer. The inside of the batter was just a tiny bit undercooked. But we still gobbled them up. Aside from that, I was slightly disappointed that they didn't actually have a lot of "tiki" styled drinks on their signature drink menu. I was expecting it to be a whole theme. It really wasn't. I think that's a missed opportunity for sure. I would really lean into that theme, since it's your name and decor. The hubby ordered the Tom Tai. It started out kinda tasty on top, but whatever alcohol was at the bottom of the glass (which was the only time I actually tried a sip) was just god awful. Have no clue what it was but it was like turpentine. Not a balance cocktail, but maybe just putting it in a shaker to mix it might have helped. Whatever alcohol was on the bottom of the drink was not good at all. Staff was friendly. Lots of tv's to watch sports. We "might" come back to give it another try based on what the menu sounded like next time we are in the area.
