Food is good, but the restaurant is very dated. Could definitely use an upgrade! Pretty views from deck, If the weather is nice.

Is there a happy hour?

There was that night. To be honest, I'm not sure about the details - if it was $ off or half price, etc. But, I know they did have some sort of deal.

I rarely leave negative reviews, but I feel other couples deserve to know about our experience…read more We had Fish Hawk Catering booked for our daughter's 220 guest wedding. About 3-4 months before the wedding, I asked if we could add a second appetizer to our final tasting, and I specifically offered to pay for it. I understood what was included in the tasting and was simply asking to purchase an additional appetizer so we could make our final decision. It was a simple bruschetta appetizer--nothing elaborate--and I even explained that I was sure I wasn't the first mother of the bride to ask for an additional tasting item. I truly didn't feel it was an unreasonable request. Unfortunately, the conversation with the assistant, Sheree, became uncomfortable very quickly. She insisted no exceptions would be made. I even explained that if I were dining in their restaurant, I could simply order and pay for an appetizer, so I was only asking to do the same for our tasting. I remained calm and respectful throughout the discussion and explained that my goal was to maintain a positive working relationship as we approached the wedding. As someone who has spent my career working with the public, I understand that not every request can be accommodated. What matters is how those situations are handled. When I asked to speak with the owner, Dale, I explained that I didn't want this to become an issue because we needed to work well together as we finalized plans for one of the biggest days of our daughter's life. Rather than discussing the situation or trying to find a resolution, he simply told me he was canceling our contract and would return our deposit. He did return the deposit, but he never reached out afterward to discuss the situation or attempt to make things right. Being dropped only a few months before a 220-person wedding over such a minor request was incredibly stressful. My daughter was devastated, and we were suddenly left without one of the most important vendors for her wedding. In my opinion, that was extremely unprofessional. Thankfully, our wedding planner, Brittany with Brittany Anne Events, immediately stepped in and found us an incredible replacement. Christine at The Stone House Catering was everything you hope for in a wedding vendor--professional, accommodating, kind, and genuinely invested in making our day special. The food was outstanding, and she personally visited every table during dinner to make sure our guests were enjoying their meal. Avery, owner of Dish'd, created a beautiful cocktail hour that our guests are still talking about, and she also catered a wonderful brunch for our wedding party. Both women went above and beyond, and because of them, our daughter's wedding day was absolutely perfect. One final disappointment came after the wedding. Several vendors made me aware that Sheree continued contacting them and speaking negatively about me. I was told she referred to me as "a piece of work" (or "a peach") and even suggested that I was somehow responsible for another vendor's decision to step away from the wedding industry. That accusation is completely untrue and honestly left me speechless. Throughout every interaction with Fish Hawk, I remained calm, respectful, and made every effort to de-escalate the situation. I know I can be direct, but I never raised my voice or treated anyone disrespectfully. For those conversations to continue after our business relationship had ended--and even after my daughter's wedding was over--was deeply disappointing and, in my opinion, another example of unprofessional conduct. Our wedding day was everything we dreamed it would be because we were surrounded by vendors who genuinely cared about us and treated our family with kindness, professionalism, and respect. Unfortunately, based on our experience, I cannot recommend Fish Hawk Catering to any bride or couple planning one of the most important days of their lives. Reliability, communication, and professionalism matter, and sadly, that was not our experience with Fish Hawk Catering.

TODAY 9/24/20 AT SUBWAY.... I SUBMITTED THIS TO SUBWAY.COM…read more I was charged $19.13 multiple times at Subway#10264-0 in Buckhannon, WV. First charge was used off of the app which I clearly stated to him I didn't want to use my app for charging my dinner, however he charged me. That was the first charge. Then after he hit some buttons then said ok go ahead and pay, I used my cash app card and he charged me 19.13, then he said ok it was declined, so I used the tap to charge my cash app card and he said it was declined again. He pushed some more buttons and realized he charged me the first time. However, on my charges on both cards that was used I looked on my accounts and it was charged three times. I showed him my phone and bank statement and he then proceeded to say I can't do anything about it. I made him call the manager and he took like 15 minutes to speak to someone and came back and said the manager is off sick for the whole weekend, and the store manager won't be here until Monday sometime. I asked for him to refund my money and he said he couldn't do it. I have not had such horrible experience in my life and I am out $57.39 and Josh your worker, didn't seem to care. I asked for corporates phone number and he gave me it however, you are closed at this time and I STILL can't get my money back. I have been a loyal customer for years and after today....I will never eat at Subway again. I WANT MY MONEY NOW! Update 9/25/20 from Subway....and still nothing from them besides this damn letter.
