I have had the pork chops and honey chicken dinner, and they will both remind you of good home cooking. The burgers are hand made patties, not frozen ones out of a box. The staff and owner, Buster, are all very friendly and great people. If you are driving through to or from Snowshoe, Greenbank Observatory, or any of the railroad attractions in the area, this is a great food stop.

I ordered my eggs over medium and they were cooked just right. I also had homefries (declined the gravy that was offered) and sausage patty with toast of my choice and a black coffee. The inside of the restaurant holds 7 extra-wide tables for 4 (but you could stick a 5th at the end, if needed. They also have 2 booths and one large round table seating 6 to 8 people and a small counter of maybe 3 or 4 stools. All and all, I'd definitely go back. Breakfast was good as was the service. The waitstaff was attentive and even offered to give me a coffee to go. I thought that was a nice touch and their prices are competitive. Please note: They do not accept credit or debit cards so be prepared to bring cash along with you. Also, don't GPS the address listed on their facebook page, It'll bring you to a street off Tallsmanville Road. Just take a look at the attached picture for directions.

The chips and salsa were complimentary and a nice touch, and it seemed like a lot of folks were enjoying the margaritas too. The restaurant has a fun atmosphere with colorful decorations, artwork, and plenty of seating. The staff was friendly and kept checking on everyone without being overbearing. You can tell they put a lot of work into the place. Tequila Taco Bar is co-located at the Wingate Hotel across from the Davis Medical Center It's a good addition to Elkins, and we'll definitely be back.
