But for those thinking they want a local taste, baked good were available, with signage stating that they were home-cooked and thus exempt from some local regulations (which is fine by me). Their drink options included non-dairy alternatives, including an almond milk chai that was on special when I visited. Whatever chai they use is heavy on ginger and it was worthwhile. They emphasize disposable packaging and the setting is quaint and well decorated. It wasn't the fastest service with only one person working, but in this rural of a setting, I could not have expected a better quality cafe.

My order arrived hot and it was very obviously made fresh to order. The double cheeseburger exceeded all expectations. It was perfect in every way. The toppings were fresh, the quality of the meat was impressive and it was the best burger I've had in a really long time. This is a burger that isn't your typical restaurant burger and I mean that in the best way. It reminded me of the home cooked burgers my Grandma used to make. Fresh cut fries are always a personal favorite of mine and these did not disappoint either. I finished everything with no leftovers haha.
