A great country setting small very unique Restaurant that has been in Belington for over 40 years. The food is great. Their new fried chicken is fresh is great. The bean bar on friday is kind of weird, but they have a lot of beans. Service is good even the owner waits tables on Sunday and make sure that you're taking care of. Diabetic pies are phenomenal. The peanut butter pie makes you want to cry. It's so delicious. The court order to the bathrooms are small and the bathroom is really small, but tidy parking is difficult but there's plenty of parking around town for you to park there. Husband and I were making our way home after a weekend in Virginia and West Virginia. We were looking for a place to have lunch and by luck found Laurel Mountain Inn. There was a nice buffet set up, but we decided to order off the menu. I chose the hot turkey breast sandwich with mashed potatoes and gravy. Husband was in the mood for fried chicken and mashed potatoes. Side salads and rolls were included. This is home style cooking at its best. The food is good. I stick with the same thing every time and that's the beef manhattan which is kind of hard to mess up so it's usually good. Love their house dressing. They used to have really good pie but last time I got a piece it was gross and not edible. It tasted like cardboard and glue and nothing like butterscotch.
