It occupies the previous site of the Market at Big Springs at Slatyfork, (it was absorbed by the ParMar next door) and the entire square footage of the former super market - sans a small kitchen - is the Subway store. With all that space, and being the only rapid food within 30 miles, it is well equipped to handle the Winter ski/board crowds as well as the cyclist crowds in the Summer. And it will get mobbed once the ski crowd gets going. Even though it's a Subway, it has the feeling of a modern restaurant with accouterments I've never seen in a Subway or in any other fast food outlet for that matter. Soft leather tufted chairs offer views of two large flat-screen TVs in a lounge-like setting, and next to a waist-high wall behind the chairs, there is a large table sitting area. Very inviting. And to top it off, Subway is about the healthiest rapid food you can get. About the only one I enter too....

There are two drive thru lanes that stay two lanes all the way through pick up. They do not merge. This was different but it doesn't seem to make much go quicker. The location off the main road was such a pain. So much traffic and red lights to get a mile down the road. She also informed me my mashed potato poppers were made to order and would only be a few minute. That definitely helps the customer know why it might take a few extra minutes. Lastly, she even asked if I wanted the mayonnaise and pickle on my Honey barbecue sandwich. Which was perfect because I personally did not want both mayonnaise and honey barbecue together. They take so much more pride in providing good quality food and the staff is always pleasant. The food is always hot and their salads are always fresh. The Cobb Salad is my favorite! They also have a routine down in the drive thru so if you see a line wrapped around the building, don't let that deter you. The line moves faster here with 20 cars ahead of you than a line at any other drive thru with just 5 cars!

It's now 12:25 and I am currently waiting for the order I just repaid for to be made. There wasn't even a busy flow of other customers.
