The main dining room doesn't have the atmosphere that we like - we are more into a sports bar vibe... this is more family restaurant oriented. That being said the food is awesome! We had the whole one, was actually more than we wanted at one sitting, but we ate it all because it was so good. Only kick would be no offering of a hoagie bun, just sandwich style. Definitely a place to try.

It was 11am when we arrived and we were one of the first to order and the service was quick. By the time we finished our meal the place was getting packed. I had the Capicola sandwich ( had a little heat - baguette roll was soft and fresh) with potato salad - they were both very good. My wife had the Steak on a Baguette with chips. She said it was very flavorful. This place hit the spot. If I lived in Morgantown and was looking for a butcher this would be the place. You can see the butchers in their meat room preparing their selections. When you are wanting a quality sandwich I would recommend this restaurant. I enjoy a local restaurant over a chain.

The business offers both inside and outside seating, along with bar seating. Upon entering, we met the hostess who seated us at a table comprised of a bench and chairs near the window. The business is adorned with signs that say Rome was not built in a day but it was worth it warning that getting your food may take a few. They are not kidding. It took us over 10 minutes to meet our server and when we did, we ordered and then wait for food to come. In that time drinks ran dry and we rarely saw our server. We started with the feta and honey fried brussel sprouts app for the table. I opted for the Truman (turkey, blue cheese and peach jam), my wife got Korean barbecue wings and fries, my daughter got a kids meal cheeseburger with fries, while my oldest son got a steak sandwich and my youngest son got a chicken sandwich. My wife and a really enjoyed the brussel sprout app which my kids refused to touch. My sandwich was good but a little small and their house made chips are really good but my server never delivered the French onion dip I ordered. My wife was not impressed with her wings but my kids enjoyed their sandwiches. Their house made pickles are really good but we asked for some on the side and never got those either. The only thing that was fast about my experience was the server cashing out my check. It's a good meal but maybe sit at the bar. They seemed to get better service.

All of the ladies employed greeted us with smiles and interest in our experience. In our view, the biscuits are large and very good; the gravy could have much more sausage. We were struct about how clean and nice this Tudor's appeared (this is Not the case for all Tudor's.) I asked if this were a new restaurant, and the server responded that this Tudor's was built in 1980s. There are several photos of WV's Senator Byrd on the walls. Senator Robert Byrd of West Virginia was not related to the prominent Byrd political family of Virginia. Despite sharing a surname, they came from entirely different backgrounds. Lots of folks were enjoying a nice lunch, and more than a few offered prayers prior to breaking bread.
