The soda lounge is…read morelocated within the Soda Plant - a collection of small businesses and artists all within an old soda factory. We both ordered the eggnog mudslide, a holiday special, which were served quickly and were very delicious. The night we went was their weekly karaoke night which we didn't know ahead of time, but it was fun! It seems to be a group of regulars who like to sing and the vibe was fun and laid back. The employee running karaoke was super nice and friendly and overall the whole place had really good vibes. I think we'll definitely be back next time we visit Burlington!

We visited last night and it happened to be during Karaoke time. The crowd was super chill, friendly, and very supportive of the singers. Everyone was having a great time and the vibe was pretty amazing, kind of felt like a speakeasy. There were people sitting at the bar, people clapping in the seats in front of the stage, and people knitting in the back. There were empty tables last night, but from what I read, it can get pretty crowded here. We ordered the Mudslides and they were really good, but a little too icy. Service was friendly and we felt very comfortable here. Loved the decor with the historic photos, the colored lights and the comfortable old style chairs. We'll be back on our next visit to Burlington!

I loved this inn so much!!!! I'm not even sure where to start. The photos don't do it justice. It…read moreis truly one of the best places I've ever stayed. The inn is a place where time stops and you feel like you've on vacation. It's also so Vermont. The room was great, because it was cute and ridiculously cozy, but it's the property and manor itself that are spectacular. The art collection is noteworthy, especially the way it is curated in the space. There are tons of welcoming places in the main building to play a game, read a book, or hangout with the ones you love. We visited in winter and the roaring fireplaces in the inn and our bedroom made everything feel so warm. The restaurant is phenomenal with fresh and local ingredients. Breakfast is not included, but it's not to be missed because it is outstanding. Croissants and anything baked fresh like the Dutch baby. Hash on the hill in a skillet was incredible if you like veggies for breakfast. The dinner is elegant, but approachable and rivals any fine dining establishments in the world. If you're a foodie this is the spot. There are selections off the menu for dietary restrictions like vegan or vegetarian. The chef is brilliant and staff very helpful. Also a kids menu that's not advertised. There is a lower level of the inn, tucked away bar with mixology. It's another great place to sit and enjoy the night. I stayed at Edson Hill with my 11 year old son and we loved every minute of it. It's probably less ideal with very young kids. The room we were in had some noise because it was on the main level. If you are sound sensitive you might want to choose one of the other buildings. I liked the style and cozy vibe of the manor house. The room we were in had everything we needed and the bed is extremely comfortable with high quality linens and real duvet. Heated bathroom is lovely. These touches elevate the experience. Above all, the staff are genuinely some of the kindest, most welcoming people you'll meet. They're also an incredible resource for all things Stowe. This inn feels like real Vermont. I left already dreaming about what the property must look like in all four seasons. I'm sure it's stunning. We're already planning a return trip!
