Came here for dinner on valentine days. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Place was packed but turn around time was fast.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Staff took the orders and the food came out fast. Typical asian restaurant. No frills. Food was good. We enjoyed it and i would go back if i was in the neighborhood.

Ordered the French toast, beef brisket macaroni soup, and baked chicken with tomato rice. French toast was good, not too sweet and crunchy. Beef Brisket macaroni soup tasted ok. I felt the soup was watered down beef and lack some flavor. Baked Chicken with Tomato rice was delicious, especially chicken was tender. It was very busybthat we waited around 30 minutes for a seat/table. The waiters forgot to serve us tea and water and proper amount of utensils. We had to constantly ask for them. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Bathroom was dirty and very messy.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Overall, it's alright but improve some dishes and service.

This place used to be located at 86th st. Food is decent. Ordered the silky egg with beef chow fun & supreme soy sauce stir fried noodles. Why does both dishes has mushroom in there. I love mushroom, but never heard of supreme soy sauce stir noodles has mushroom. It should be just bean sprout with some scallion. Overall the food is ok.. I would go back and try other dishes.

Haven't been here for a while so came here again and had a different experience from last time. Staff seated us quickly and came often to provide us drinks, chopsticks, and napkins. Ordered the following: - Baked beef minced spaghetti $9.95 - Beef chow fun $10.75 - Wonton noodle soup $7.50 - French toast with condensed milk $4.95 - Mapo tofu $9.50 + white rice $1.50 Decent portions and reasonably priced. Haven't been here for awhile and the prices haven't changed much. Food was flavorful. For the map tofu though, it wasn't the numbing type of spicy and wasn't that spicy. But other than that, food was alright.

Food was okay for Hong Kong food not super great .. the only thing I don't like is the food is taking so long to serve ... finish 1 dish and still waiting other dish to come out .. [[HIGHLIGHT]]rather do take out at this place then eating there[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]

Went to this place for the first time over the weekend. Black pepper mixed grill spaghetti was very good. Curry beef over spaghetti was very good as well. Service was excellent.

I'm not a hong kong expert but I think the food is mid. I been here 2/3 times and it's not been terrible. Flavors taste decent. It's pretty interesting how prices go up every time I come here. The service is mid, feels either very rushed or very slow

Came here on a Saturday afternoon at around 4 as a group of two and the place was around 40% filled. We ordered the salt and pepper squid, baked seafood with rice, and baked pork chop with rice to share. The salt and pepper squid was probably my favorite among everything but the portion was a bit too small. Both of the baked rice also tasted great and I like how they used egg fried rice as the base instead of plain white rice! The portion of the baked rice was very generous and I had enough leftover for two more meals. Overall, great experience! Food came out pretty fast and all the servers were very friendly. Great value for the amount of food that they give! Will come back again!

I still think their food is yummy but it's really hard to get served. First, the staff is really busy with a lot of people waiting outside. The tables are small because the interior is tight. I saw the staff go as far as sit a party of three around one small round table. The staff served the entrees before the appetizers so there was no space to put the apps and no way the customers could've cleared the entrees quickly to make room. The staff ended up taking the apps back into the kitchen. I was served my food before I even received utensils and drinks. I already asked them a few times for all of those items when I placed my order. It was frustrating having to follow up so many times and not get results. They didn't come over to take my order so I had to wave them down. Once they got to my table to take my order, the waitress was barely paying attention. Thankfully, she got my order right.

Since my last review, I've tried a few additional items from The Legend Cafe House and did not particularly enjoy them. The minced meat baked spaghetti is just bizarre; it tasted like they put too many additional herbs and spices that just did not work well. We also found star anise which I was not expecting at all. The chow kwai fun was also just decent, but looked and tasted more like singapore mei fun with ho fun. Prices here also tend to be steeper than other HK cafes.

Salt and Pepper Squid 3.0 stars. This appetizer was a bit chewy, but the flavor was nice. A bit of curry taste to it. Beef Chow Fun with raw egg 2.0 stars. This dish was flavorless and the beef pieces were tough [[HIGHLIGHT]]Ambiance 4.0 Nice and clean[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Service 5.0. Friendly and quick

Decided to try it because I was craving hk style food. I came on a Friday around 8 pm with my husband and was seated right away. It's a casual spot with good amount of seating. They have indoor and outdoor seating. We ordered the red bean ice, fish with tofu and Portuguese baked pork chop with spaghetti. Food wasn't bad, pretty standard hk style food. The pork chop was a little salty but still enjoyable

We sat at the cellar dining area and loved the tiles designed dining table. It was a very quiet and intimate environment. We were taken care of very well by the wait staff and they were very knowledgeable of their menu and made great recommendations. We chose to eat family style and ordered a bunch of Sharable Plates and Large Plates. We all fell in love with their Spinach with fava beans, Polvo, and Carne de Porto à Alentejana. As much as I say dont fill up on their Portuguese bread to focus on your main dishes this is one of those few time i disagree as they were amazing and I absolutely loved it especially since it pairs well with the Polvo and Chourico Portuguese Assado. Chourico Portuguese is great due to the table side searing they do and the option of having 1 spicy and 1 non spicy sausage is a great option for people who don't like any heat to their food. The Bolinhos de Bacalhau was great as it was not too salty and the right amount of crunchy. I wasn't too fond of the Arroz de Marisco but I would not say is bad but definitely up to your tastebud if you lose the flavor and the consistency of the rice. Dont skip the roasted potatoes, Spinach with fava beans and shishito peppers for sides as they are wonderful. The Carne de Porto a alentejana was by far the dish i loved the most. The Pork is so tender and juicy but they manage to give it a beautiful crunchy sear on the outside somehow the pork was both sweet and savory. The clam was perfectly cooked I can recommend the dish enough I even used the bread to soak up some of the sauce as it was that good. Definitely a great place to take your friends or significant other for good food

I attended this bar to watch the Knicks game and arrived about 30 minutes early. When I entered, the woman working the front door immediately began screaming in my face that there was no space available. One of my friends, who was already inside, had to come to the front and explain that I was part of their group before I was allowed to enter. Once inside, I was unable to get service, including water, despite waiting and attempting to order. Later in the evening, another friend arrived and was met with the same aggressive treatment. We calmly explained that she was part of our group, but the owner continued screaming and telling us to stop calling people to come to the bar. What was especially concerning was that multiple people observed a difference in how she would calmly speak to the white customers and how she would yell and be aggressive with the Black consumers. When we raised concerns about the way we were being spoken to, the owner responded by mocking us and making comments about us being black. When I began recording the interaction, she attempted to take my phone and repeatedly assaulted me. I understand that businesses can reach capacity and have the right to limit entry. However, there is no excuse for being yelled at, mocked, assaulted, denied basic courtesy, or having an employee attempt to grab a customer's phone. This was one of the most uncomfortable and unprofessional experiences I've had at a bar, and I hope management investigates this matter seriously.
