Clean and tidy. Nice/trendy looking place. Lots of machines. They have a washing powder vending machine which I initially thought was a candy machine. I'm used to rubbish powder dispensers. Cash to coin machines there which was handy. Felt very comfortable relaxing reading on my iPad while waiting. read more

I recently used their 'fluff and fold' service for the first time. They did such a great job, I plan on going back. The place is very neat and clean that. You can also use the machines to do your own laundry. They have a few laundry options from completely self service, to full service. read more

One of the top 1% businesses I've known EVER! It's been so long since I've come to know a place of business as the highest in customer service, professionalism and overall positive experiences, but the team there at THE LAUNDRY ROOM fits that bill. the owners have proven over & over to be GREAT young people of high character and genuinely care about their customers and obviously set high standards for themselves in work product/quality, professionalism and they give me optimism for there being good businesses out there that are local family-owned that do care about their community. I never thought of paying anyone else to wash & iron my clothes, but as a single parent IT ROCKS having a resource there to help give me time to prepare my home environment for everything from guests to family visits to preparation to spend time with my little girl. THE LAUNDRY ROOM has assisted me in this fashion and as my lifestyle changed, the additional services such as their clothing mending & dry cleaning have put them on the top of my personal list of community resources having anything to do with clothing-related needs. My recommendation to anyone with needs anything like those I have previously stated, give yourself a break and give them a visit. If you like to do your own laundry in a comfortable, clean & safe place, try them. If you have a favorite piece of clothing with a stain that is tempting you to toss it, bring it here and ask the owner about it. If you just have a BUNCH of clothes you need done and can't spare the hours hours, HOURS to wash, fold and iron those that needs it, ask her about it too. I thought I was too broke to pay for someone to take those tasks on for me but after the months of being so impressed with their service, I can't afford NOT to call on them! Eh, maybe you can't see yourself ever using all of their services, but you have to try it first. They made me a lifelong customer. Great people all of them, I consider myself lucky to have discovered such a valuable resource for myself. -Vince & Trinity, neighbors & friends of THE LAUNDRY ROOM! read more

This place is so awesome! best laundry service out there for sure!

I have a back injury, and this business initially provided me with pick-up and drop-off laundry service. I was one of their first customers. I was a regular, paying close $200 a month in pick-up laundry, wash and fold services. When they grew, they began hiring new untrained people to wash my clothes. I was patient and didn't complain at first about the awful job the new employees were doing. This is until one of their new employees severely stained three of my white Express brand office shirts. When I complained to the owner's right hand, the owner then called me an told me her new employee said that I had brought them in with those stains. I attempted to reason with the owner and told her there was no way I had did that. This was the first time-in close to year of being a customer- that I complained about a stain. The owner was upset, and wanted to charge me to remove the stains, I declines and told her I would pick-up my shirts that same day. I felt betrayed, and like I was not being treated like a valued customers. I now go to Drop a Load Laundry in Sierra Madre, CA. They wash and hang all my office clothes with no complains and at no extra charge. They are ethical people who do a great job with my laundry. read more

Free wifi, clean facilities, eco friendly, and fluff and fold service that competes with my mom's impeccable folding skills. Best laundry I've ever been to. read more

Great, clean laundry. Attendant was helpful and probably the nicest I've ever been in.

My girlfriend and I dropped off roughly $100 worth of soft blankets at the laundry room. After contemplating washing them ourselves, we decided to use this business for the first time to wash the blankets with their "fluff and fold" service. We've used the fluff and fold service at other laundry businesses near downtown Los Angeles but decided to use something closer to home. Upon first entering the Laundry Room, we thought that the business overall was clean and the facilities were nice. Thinking that this business was the type of business we would like to use to clean our expensive blankets, we left them overnight for the fluff and fold service. When my girlfriend went to pick up the blankets the next day, they had the blankets wrapped in plastic. She noticed that the blankets were burned so she opened the plastic bag. Sure enough, the dryers had burned our blankets. After asking both the on staff employee and talking with the manager, the business has refused to rectify the damages. They accused us of dropping off the blankets already burned and refused to reimburse for any of the damages that were done. Two blankets were given to us by family members and had sentimental value. They cannot be replaced. Only one can be replaced. BE CAREFUL WHEN USING THIS BUSINESS. I CANT BELIEVE THEY WOULD TREAT A LOCAL NEW CUSTOMER THIS WAY. read more

I didn't really care for this wash house. It's expensive and the location is terrible (a little whole in the wall). The employees were very nice which made the visit better, but overall I would not return. read more

The staff is usually chill and never says anything but the old short lady is worse than a hall monitor... come on... I wasn't sitting on the machine I was sitting on the counter next to it and not even while a load was in (get it?!?) lol whatever... I guess some ppl to take their job that serious to make themselves sleep at night read more

WOW what a wonderful service! I have a very difficult home life, I am bed ridden and my husband is blind, top that off with a teenager. I am very picky about the way my laundry is done as most of my laundry is beautiful cotton and Chantilly lace night gowns that have to be hung dry ( I hang dry all of my wash) . My husband can't mix his colors but I would do that for him now The Laundry Room does. Everything came back perfect and we were very pleased with the price of 7 bags of laundry. No problems with the delivery service they arrived back at my home first thing in the AM smelling fresh and clean . A+ experience and would I do it again~ yes my second order is at the Laundry Room right now! read more

I just went in to go do my laundry here literally right now, and the old lady (Nora) who works there comes up to me as I'm about to put my money in with all my clothes already in the dryer and goes "you're not allowed to only dry here because of the customers here who are actually doing laundry here today." Giving me the stink eye and everything. There's so many dryers open, so I just ask "can I just this once? My drying machine at my apt..." before I could even finish, she starts shaking her head pointing at the sign on the wall and saying "no." Like WTF.... rude much? Don't want my money? Fine. If she at least said it nicely and was smiling or feeling sorry that I couldn't do that I'd be like okay sorry. But no, rude and completely taking advantage of her "authority" at the laundry room. Woman, you work at a laundry room not the White House! read more

The vibe and aesthetics of this laundry are stellar. Never thought I could have such a pleasurable experience in a coin operated laundry, but I did. Super clean, nice and open, free wifi. And I love that they respect their customers by keeping it so tidy. Bonus for the wonderful music playing. Astrid Gilberto and Annie Lennox! Yes, please. Don't change a thing. I'm coming back! read more

So friendly, great customer service and very pleased with the results! We took in a ton of laundry and it was money well spent to have it washed, dried and most importantly FOLDED! It was so easy to slide it right into the drawers. They will hang your clothes for you too (and you can bring in your own hangers). It is a splurge so I'm not sure how often I can go this route, but when I do The Laundry Room has our service. Thank you! read more

I enjoy coming this place .Claudia is very helpful and always in good spirit

This is my favorite business in Pasadena. It was also the first one that I found when I moved here a year ago. Their fluff and fold services are life-changing! They charge a fair/flat rate, fold everything perfectly, and you can even request that they deliver to your house. Their location is super clean, with coin operated machines that are in excellent condition, as well as additional services (dry cleaning, starch/press shirts, etc.). When we travel and have to use other businesses, we are always ready to get back to The Laundry Room! read more

Here in business travel for 3 weeks. Stopped in for a wash of clothes. The washers left residue on all my work clothes. They offered another wash which meant I would have to stay another 1 1/2 hrs to finish. Beyond disappointed. read more

Clean facility with several different sizes of washers and dryers to get the job done. Nice woman behind the counter.

Don't take my post down due to hurt feelings! The female co-owner is selective on who she likes, and is disrespectful to certain persons whom she thinks 'offend' her. My previous post states with proof how I was turned away, yet current posts show how she allowed people in without question. If you allow someone to wash 5 minutes past your cut off time..then you must do the same for all. read more

I use the fluff and fold service. Always done well and quickly. I usually drop off my laundry on the way to work and get a text midway through the day to let me know that it's done. Clean, reliable and friendly. read more
