I booked a full set with a senior stylist, paying the extra for the upgraded tech, two weeks for my vacation. We picked out the style using pics and she got to work. When completed, she handed me the mirror and I was shocked. My eyelashes looked ridiculous. I felt like I looked like miss piggy. First off they were black. I didnt even THINK to discuss the color. I was concerned about the style. Then I was dumbfounded that a senior stylist wouldn't ask me what color I wanted and assumed black. Second was that there was no definition, just fan of black lashes that waves at whomever I am looking at each time I blink. I wasn't happy. The front desk booked me with Monica for the following week for a 1/2 fill, who is a master stylist, before my Europe trip. I was nervous that I was going to go on my trip looking like a fool. Monica hooked me up. She was quick and blended in the brown to the black, and gave some shape to my lashes. Huge improvement. I signed up for the monthly hybrid service that allow two fills per month. I'll keep these for a while and see how it goes. Very comfortable beds while the techs work. read more

Poor service uncaring staff especially on a Friday afternoon or Saturday they are more concerned with their plans than taking care of their customers choose a different lash salon I stayed here too long because close to home Canceled twice despite calling in advance and stating would pay for entire hour of service but receive 1/2 fill due to delay getting there from work, and they let me drive there then canceled despite an empty salon at 4 pm. they suck find somewhere else read more

This is my new spot!! Imara hooks me up every single time. She is super meticulous and clearly has a method to her movements. You can tell she works from side to side to make sure both eyes are completely even. She measures your natural eyelashes to help you determine how long your extensions should be and has a full on discussion with you about what your goal look is. Super cute ambience; very comfortable beds too relax on with slightly elevated feet. Also, with Sherpa weighted blankets! I fall asleep every single time. All of the staff is very kind. I could definitely just hang out here with these ladies. I look forward to my appointments. The membership is priced just right to saved about $35 - $40. I love them and you will too! read more

Poor Monica - she loses a very loyal customer after two and half years. I am now being treated like a walk in stranger due to "now" policy circumstances.The policies of this place have become unbearable. My lashes do not need the membership requirements of paying every two weeks. I need to come every four weeks and Monica and I established this! After receiving the message that I was not wanted because I couldn't follow the policy of if I can't come every three weeks for a fill($125)- I need to pay full lash price at ($300). Each time I come. In addition, I am loyal customer and was told the policy is now that I pay 50% of the appointment five days ahead or my appointment is released. I canceled my appointment and will no longer go back until I am treated more respectfully as a loyal client and not the $$$$ dollar sign they are trying to over hustle me for. Really disappointed. I got my lashes lifted in May for the summer (like I did last summer) however this time around, my lash lift lasted MAYBE a month before they lost their curl. I am very careful with them and took care of them the same way I did last year. The lady who did them last year was super informative and seemed to really care about how they laid compared to the lady I had this time around. I noticed within a week that the lashes were getting tangled and some were curled and some were straight...did not look good. The only reason I got them done again is because they looked beautiful last summer! Super disappointing and not worth the expensive price I paid. read more

This place is such a calming place to come and get lashes done! I scheduled an appointment with a trainee, so I got them done for an extremely discounted price! The trainee was attentive, patient, and had her work checked by another stylist at the end. I would say that trainee appointments take a bit longer than those with a stylist (at least the ones that I've had in the past). I ended up getting the volume silk lash and my appointment lasted ~2.5 hours. I do need to go back in for a touch up since we weren't able to finish in one session. Overall, loved them! They look more "natural" than other lashes I've had, even though I got the volume lashes. They held up ~2-3 weeks before looking like I needed a refill. covid--they have a screening and temperature check at the entrance. They also limit the number of people inside the building, which is nice (I was told to wait in the car until my stylist was ready!). Also, everyone inside is required to wear a mask! read more

The senior stylist did not stop midway to double check with me if the fullness is what I wanted before she moved on, which is what she promised during the consultation. The result is less voluminous than what I would prefer. The stylist pressed her hand really hard on my forehead while doing my lashes. She also almost torn off my lower lashes when removing the tape. read more

My friend had warned me (speaking from her own experience): Once you get them, eyelash extensions are addictive. She was 100% correct... I am shamelessly in love with them. When I went for my first appointment, I was pretty clueless about the process. I thought they just slap the same lashes on everyone. That could not be further from the truth. You first discuss with your stylist the look that you are trying to achieve: Volume or length? Dramatic or natural? More or less curled? Etc. I admit, that I was somewhat overwhelmed by the choices, but Ellen walked me through the process. The stylist will then take some quick measurements, and then it is time to get down to business. The bed is pretty comfortable - Thank goodness! - Because, you're going to be there for awhile! Pack your zen patience for the first session, but refills are quite quick. At the end of your appointment, your stylish will discuss care with you on how to maintain your investment. Overall, eyelash extensions are a great option for speeding up your morning routine, and when done correctly, widening the eyes and making you look younger. Eyebrows were great. Lashes no. The tint made no difference. To be fair, the lash tech did tell me my lashes are dark. However, I've had lash lift and tints done at many other places and it was a huge difference. This was as if I did nothing. The lift also is not noticeable at all. What a great experience. SUPER friendly staff, and a very nice atmosphere/building. With COVID they were very cautious with a screening, masks, and limited people inside. I went in today for a lash lift and tint. The place is very clean and they have a lot of covid precautions, which is good. My lift however is not good. It's uneven, and half of my right eye did not lift at all and almost looks worse than when I got there 7 weeks post-last lift, my lashes look tangled and more sparse than before. The lady who did them was nice, but they still charged me full price even though it did not look good and I wasn't happy. I'm likely not going to be returning, which is a huge disappointment considering how close this place is to my house. The tint looks fine, but overall I could have done better with a lash curler and some mascara. I guess I will be trekking back out to Northville in August, because I have to wait 8 weeks before I can get them redone. read more

Yesterday was my first experience when it comes to my lashes. I was nervous, to say the least, to have someone else so close to my eyes. I got a lash lift and Marlee was amazing. The atmosphere of the salon was so calming and Marlee walked me through every step of the process. I was very interested to try The Lash Lounge after always hearing about semi-permanent & glamorous eyelashes. My own eyelashes are just OK...not short but not long. Not full but not thin. Not curly but not straight. I usually do fine with some mascara, but I was very impressed by my own results here. The lashes really are perfect for anyone across the board of beauty. Anyone who needs a little boost, a little relaxing, or anyone with a wedding or other glamorous occasion coming up. I met with my stylist Paige for a few minutes before she started. She measured my eyes for the look especially fit for my face & she also asked me questions to decide how I wanted my lashes to be. I finally really just decided to have a little fun & go for it. I decided to go for the longer, curlier, & more dramatic Mink eyelashes. I wanted to really see how glamorous I could feel. Then I relaxed! The initial appointment takes about 2 hours, so I cuddled up in a fuzzy blanket on a nice neck pillow & Paige got right to work. Her hands were so light I hardly knew she was working & I really enjoyed a Sunday afternoon nap. The lash care afterward is pretty easy enough to maintain. I followed the directions to a T & my lashes did stay full for about 4 whole weeks! The brochures advised that it was normal to lose 1-5 lashes per day & I believe that was about the case for me during those weeks. If you're going for eyebrow threading I'd suggest going elsewhere. I had an appointment for brow threading today. I arrived 10 minutes early and the receptionist had me fill out some paperwork and then was told to wait until my tech was ready for me. When she came out she apologized profusely and said that she was in the system for brow threading but wasn't proficient in it yet and didn't feel comfortable doing it. First of all, I want to thank her for being honest and not just trying it out anyways considering my wedding is a month away and I don't need part of my eyebrow missing. However, I'm disappointed in the management for having someone assigned in the system that isn't fully ready to be doing the work. I'm also disappointed that no one called or told me the appointment was canceled until after I'm sitting in the office waiting, and even having me fill out paperwork? Unfortunate because I also considered having my lashes done for my wedding but I'll be taking that business elsewhere as well. read more

Overall not the experience I was hoping for. Was alarmed that the tech didn't wear gloves. Additionally I had leftover glue on my lashes and the tech told me that The residue was due to me pressing the paper towel too hard on my lashes. When I went home and used tweezers to remove the residue it was dried glue. Didn't appreciate her rudeness and tone and even blaming me. Additionally I was undecided because the lash lift and extensions which is why the front desk booked me a consultation. I have had a couple of different people do my lashes here and they have been fabulous every time. Shout out to Paige who has done them the last few times and I must say that they stay on the best when she does them and she doesn't laugh too hard when I snore while getting them done. I had my first lash extension experience here and it was okay. The reason for the low rating is because the lashes did not last as long as I had hoped. I got a classic set with mink lashes and by the two-week point I would say about 70% had fallen out. I followed the instructions and even bought the suggested products from the stylist. Another downside is that the area where they do the lashes has a few beds separated by curtains so you can hear everything that's going on and the stylists seem to talk to each other quite a bit. I have since been to another salon and much preferred their atmosphere and results. read more
