Her process for brow shaping is so detailed, gentle, and precise. For the most part, she tweezes hairs individually. Not sure what products she's using throughout the process, but it's very soothing. She also takes great care to provide a clean and hygienic experience as well. The shop itself is small but beautiful and she stocks great brow, makeup, supplements, and other products. Her own line of brow gel is great! It is on the higher end of pricing for brow shaping, but I do believe the price reflects the whole experience she creates. Curious, I booked a free consultation, just to learn more. Cara talked me through the laser process, as well as packages that they offer. She immediately put me at ease, and I ended up getting my first treatment that same day. I was so happy with the process that I returned a couple of weeks later for laser on another area, this time with Donna. She likewise wowed me with her knowledge, expertise, and welcoming demeanor. I've since had more laser treatments - loving the results! - and a facial. I went elsewhere in town for a facial before, but I'm never going anywhere else again! My face was dewy and glowing for the rest of the day, and I left feeling relaxed from the pampering. When completed, she handed me the mirror and I was shocked. My eyelashes looked ridiculous. I felt like I looked like miss piggy. First off they were black. I didnt even THINK to discuss the color. I was concerned about the style. Then I was dumbfounded that a senior stylist wouldn't ask me what color I wanted and assumed black. Second was that there was no definition, just fan of black lashes that waves at whomever I am looking at each time I blink. I wasn't happy. The front desk booked me with Monica for the following week for a 1/2 fill, who is a master stylist, before my Europe trip. I was nervous that I was going to go on my trip looking like a fool. Monica hooked me up. She was quick and blended in the brown to the black, and gave some shape to my lashes. Huge improvement. I signed up for the monthly hybrid service that allow two fills per month. I'll keep these for a while and see how it goes. Very comfortable beds while the techs work.

I was able to get an…read moreappointment in a day and was booked with hairstylist Tracey. she was AMAZING, usually hairstylist do not get the exact look I am going for, but she was able to achieve it and was also very friendly. usually when I ask for a 1/2 inch trim, I end up loosing around 4 inches of hair. Tracey works in small sections making sure to check in before she cuts pieces of hair so it is not too short. I had a great time and if I ever come back to visit friends, I will be coming here again!

However, the service moved much slower than expected -- about 40 minutes in, polish hadn't been applied yet, and it became clear we'd go well over an hour. Since I was short on time, I asked to skip the hot stone portion. I was still charged full price (which I could understand...), plus $5 for gel removal even though I only had gel remaining on half of two toenails. When I got home, I noticed clear top coat had been applied to only one foot. I called about fixing it and was told I could return, but the response came with an attitude. I never made it back in due to my schedule. Overall, I won't be returning. In all my years, I've never experienced some forgetting to apply top coat...Then to charge me add-on fees? An unfortunate, poor experience.

I even asked her when I was there if I needed my nails replaced and she literally convinced me that naturally our nails are yellow. She is so friendly and efficient with her time, and is wonderful at making nail art dreams come true. On the rare occasion I treat myself to a fancy manicure, I would absolutely go back to Phoebe! However -- whenever I risk booking with ANY other technician, the experience is always lackluster. I've had technicians awkwardly squabble over who 'has' to do my nails. I've had technicians rip into my cuticles so hard they bleed. When I went in recently for a gel manicure soak-off, they just haphazardly dipped my fingers in acetone and sent me on my way. My nails looked awful and my skin peeled for days afterward, to the point where my hands looked diseased.
